Chapter 16: Meeting The Cult Leader

All of them politely greeted Ryu with their head bowed, even Sang In Hyo who was a member of Unrecorded bowed to him to show respect.
Unrecorded, A group of people hidden in the shadows, they serve the Cult on their own way and the reason why they are called Unrecorded is that in no any form of records about them are permitted to be made.
Their founder was the Second Apprentice of the Spear Master Sect leader at that time, since he was not allowed to claim the Sect Leaders position due to him being a second apprentice he decided to venture the world and eventually he ended up being joining the Cult. Turns out he was more talented in the way of the Demon not the Orthodox.
He was talented and powerful to the point that even the Heavenly Demon at that time highly favors him that they even became drinking partners, but due to him being curios and extremely passionate about martial arts he found the The Divine Art of the Cult highly desirable that he even studied it and made his own martial arts based on.
When it was revealed that he was able to use the Divine Arts of the Cult that only the Heavenly Demon are allowed to learn, it cause a great uproar in the Cult.
Many wanted him to be executed for copying the Divine Arts many wanted it to be given up but since he was a great friend of the Heavenly Demon, the Cult leader decided that his Martial Arts will be recognized as a new form of The Divine Art of the Cult but his existence will not be recorded in any paper or books.
Those that follows him was also erased from the records but their membership from the Cult wasn't revoked. They are still there albeit unrecorded.

10 Days later
In these past days the newly graduated Students where given free time to do whatever they want. Some trained while other enjoyed the short time they were given.
And today all of them was once again gathered by Sang In Hyo in the bottom part of the Heavenly Mountain.
"Today we are going to the Ten Thousand Hall Of Demons, in that place we will meet one of the greatest existence on this world, The Heavenly Demon."
"Be proud of yourself as there are no more than a hundred who have met the Heavenly Demon while so young."

After the brief explanation, Sang In Hyo and the rest climbed Heavenly Mountain. And upon reaching their final goal they were greeted by a gigantic door the size of a 4- story building.
And once they arrived the door opened while creating a grating noise reverberating throughout the entire peak of the mountain.
They entered the hall and what they saw was something truly amazing, Thousands of Martial Artist in the level of Great Demon was seated on the side observing them while there are about 50 Demonic King and their was about 3 of the Ten Great Demonic Masters gathered there.
Suddenly when the group was mesmerizing the about the place a voice spoken on a low tone yet contains so much power resounded.
"Welcome fledglings"
All of the newly graduated students can't figure out where the voice came from as from their point of view there was no direction to pinpoint it, it was like the sound came from all directions.
Suddenly Sang In Hyo bowed with all fours with his head touching the ground.
"ALL HAIL THE HEAVENLY DEMON!! ALL DEMONS SUBMITS!!"
The rest of the Demonic People who were gathered then shouted.
"ALL DEMONS SUBMITS!!"
After hearing this the Heavenly Demon then let his presence known, seconds ago it was like they were talking to an air now they saw a man seated on a high throne, with his chin rested on his hands, he waz like a God looking down on his subjects.
And at that moment Ryu realized the difference between him and the Heavenly Demon, a deep sense of respect was then bloomed inside him.
His presence alone made Ryu felt facing a god, Ryu read the Manwha and at that time he thought that the Moon Cleaving Heavenly Demon, Chun Wi was "Cool" but now that he saw him in reality and in flesh, the word "Cool" can't justify his presence anymore.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all, I assume I don't need no introduction no?"
"This gathering is to discuss your rewards, but first let's talk about punishment"
"Second Group of Latent Demon Squad"
and as the Heavenly Demon called Chun Ah Young's group, all of them kneeled and shouted at the same time.

Chun Wi the Heavenly Demon gave her daughter a look of pity and continued.
"This proves your lack of capability."
Chun Ah Young hearing her father's word bit her lips until it bleed due to shame, the reason why Chun Ah Young escaped the Heavenly Palace the Heavenly Demon's abode was because she wants to be the vice- leader of the cult.
She didn't want to rely on her father's power so the only way for her to rise up was to become the Vice Leader, a position that didn't require any bloodline just skills.
So right now the shame she is feeling is quite painful for her, especially when her father is the one saying that to her.
"Do you concur?"
Chun Wi said.
They were reluctant to admit it.
"DO YOU CONCUR!!?"
All of the Demonic People present there said while releasing their aura causing the 2nd group of demon latent squad to be injured internally.
"We concur" Chun Ah Young said, disappointed to herself.
"Alright then, as a punishment your group are to conduct closed cultivation training in the Valley of Thousands of Spirits for half a year."
Valley of Thousands of Spirits, a valley designed to be the harshest training ground of the cult due to the evil spirits roaming there making anyone inside it or near it experience great mental and spiritual injury that will even cause Qi Deviation. But as time goes on the training ground became a punishment ground due to the brutality it contains.
"That's it for the punishment now moving on to the reward."
"1st Squad and 3rd Squad hear my order!!"
"All of you have done your missions excellently and as a reward, the 1st Squad will be promoted to the Charred Dragon Unit while the 3rd Squad will be promoted to White Ape Unit!!"
"Take your responsibility seriously and serve our cult diligently"
"No. 68 your deeds were greater than the other two so your reward will be discussed separately from them"
