Chapter 2: Leaving.
"Hahaha i just felt Like laughing all day, I am finally leaving for the martial arts hall" Darius is currently very excited at the prospect of leaving for the martial arts hall.
Currently what is stopping Darius from going is Jack and his mother, his mother is preparing something delicious and some snacks for him to go with it to the martial arts hall.
As Darius is happily looking outside through the window, he spot Jack.
"He is finally here, its time to go" Darius said as he run down the stairs.
He saw Jack and his father at the living room, obviously Madeline is in the kitchen. BBB
"Yay! brother Jack you are here" Darius shouted in excitement.
"Of course I am here early in the morning like I promised" Jack smiled.
"Darius this is your last chance to turn back, their is still time" Robert said.
"No dad, I can do it" Darius shows his determination.
"Are you ready?" Jack asked.
"I am born ready" Darius clenched his fists and show his determination.
"Food is ready" Madeline's voice is heard from the kitchen and a sweet aroma of food swept through their nose.
Soon she served different types of foods but they all have one thing in common, Darius favourite: Chicken. Pepper chicken, roasted chicken and chicken pepper soup.
"Mum that's too much, you should not stressed yourself too much." Darius said.
"Why shouldn't I ?" Madeline questioned with a raised brow.
"I even include some chicken nuggets and other snacks" Madeline Added.
They ate the food together and now is time for Jack and Darius to go.
"I will really miss you both" Darius said.
"Same here, dear" Madeline smiled.
"Do take care of yourself" Robert added.
"And don't you dare get injured" Madeline said.
Darius nodded his head, Darius and Jack start walking out but suddenly Darius stopped. he turn around and run back to his parent. He hug them tight and after the tight Hug he said his good byes and Madeline repeatedly told him that he should take good Care of himself.
"Be careful Darius, because this is your first time leaving home and you will be alone" Robert said.
"Don't worry dad, I got this" Darius confidently said.
"Bye" Darius wave at his parent and they wave back at him.
They started walking out with Jack and this time he did not run back to his parent.
'I will really miss you both mum and dad' Darius felt reluctant to part with his parents.
After a long time of walking with Jack they are at the end of the city and they met a black robe man.
"Jack you can go back to the fighters academy now I will take him there myself" The black robe man said.
"Alright Master" Jack turn back and let left Darius with the dark robe man.
They kept walking in silence until Darius break the silence.
"Master Black, can I ask ask you something?" Darius hesitantly asked.
The black robe man felt surprised at this kid's naming sense.
"Already tired? Ask" He gave a short replied.
"Yes, Isn't the martial arts hall supposed to have a transportation means of carrying new disciples?" Darius asked.
"Yes and No" He Gave a short answer again.
"I don't understand what you mean" Darius scratched the back of his head.
"What I mean is, we do have transportation means And what I mean by no is that, we only use them to carry disciples only in some special cases. No food for a lazy man, and their is no fighter that is lazy, in fact this might be one of your tests" Master black said.
"Hahaha who said I am lazy? I can do this all day long" Darius suddenly increased His walking speed.
'An interesting lad, the moment I mention test he felt rejuvenated and gets motivated. He has a strong willpower and determination' Master black thought.
Darius suddenly stop and take out some chicken nuggets, he took a bite.
"Have some" He gave some to master black.
"No, that's for you" Master black replied.
"If you will not have some then I will not eat any and I will not move an inch from here" Darius stubbornly said, he even sat down.
"Alright I will eat some of it" Master black accepted some chicken nuggets.
'Strong headed, stubborn but has a strong sense of right and wrong. I will include all this in your report' Master black thought as he took a bite.
They soon reached a large circular building.
"Is this what I think it is?" Darius exclaimed as he see a big circular building.
"Yes this is our final destination, let's go and get you registered into the new batch" Master black confirmed Darius's guess.
Inside the martial arts hall, registration building.
"Darius, ten year old boy, you will be living in room 009" The registrar gave Darius a key.
"Thank you senior" Darius pick up the key and run towards the dorm area.
"Aha room nine, my new home and a start of my path to greatness" Darius unlocked the room and climb up one of the bed, it is a bunker bed so he climb up the upper bed at the right side.
'This place is fairly large, so it might take some time for me to completely adapt to it. And I will make some new friends, we will train and play together' Darius is happily thinking about this on his bed.
'Hmm I better get up and do my workouts' Darius quickly jumped down from the bed.
He do some press ups and squats, he do some sit ups and jumping jacks.
'I heard that stretching increase flexibility, so will also do some stretching' Darius thought as he added stretching to his list of daily routine exercise.
'I should take my bath and freshen up else I will be stinky and tired' Darius enter the bathroom for a shower.
He came out and change into a new set if clothes and hop on to his bed for some sleep.
