Chapter 32: Chapter 31: Vampires and Werewolves (Meeting)
Lu Xie rushed to the location of the heroine and thankfully she came just in time to kill the wolf.
The reason why the female lead meets the male lead in the forest was that she was wounded by a wolf and she run away toward the werewolf territory. And was saved by the male lead who went out hunting.
Getting down from the horse she walked towards the woman sitting on the ground and stretching another hand.
An Yu was stunned and then politely held her hand, the moment she touched the person's hand it was cold like a corpse. Her body suddenly tensed and warning bells rang inside her head.
Lu Xie pulled her gently, took out a cloak in her space behind her back, and wrapped it around her. Then put on a bracelet in her hand. As she was about to speak a man's voice sounded.
"Well well well, What do we have here? I can't believe I would one day meet..." the man said
Then the wind blew hard and the hood on top of Lu Xie's head was blown away showing her face.
An Yu saw her face and was stunned, she had never seen a woman more beautiful than her. Her mouth went agape, her mind was blank, and was staring at her face in a trance.
"Your highness Princess Lu Xie" the man continued with a hypocritical smile
An Yu heard the man and didn't know how to react, princess. How can there be a princess here? Wait! Did I get transported to a different world? She thought horrified
Then she glanced at the man behind but only saw a large wolf looking at them, now she was sure she was in a different world when she saw the wolf transformed into a human body. If she's in a different world and that wolf transformed into a man? Then... Her heart was beating fast and her mind was chaotic
"It's been a while, Prince Jiang Ji of the Red Royal Family" Lu Xie said coldly her eyes were piercing
An Yu heard her voice and came back to her senses since she was close to her and Lu Xie's one arm was wrapped around her shoulder. Now that she's in a different world she doesn't know if she can trust this person.
But her heart was beating wildly in her chest and there was no resistance when she was holding her, so it was a good sign for her right.
"I can't believe that the most honorable princess of the Vampires is having an underground romance" Jiang Ji smiled sarcastically
An Yu was bewildered and wanted to push the person away but her mind was shouting don't push her away. She felt complicated and her mind once again says she'll protect you, so she compromised and leaned a little closer to her.
She thought she would feel cold but surprisingly she's warm and comfortable, aren't vampires supposed to be cold like a corpse? Then her nose sniffed a rose scent on her body, her nerves relaxed and her mind was calm.
"Heh, and what does it have to do with you" Lu Xie snorted coldly hugging the female lead directly, and jumping on her horse.
"And let me remind you, dear prince of werewolves. You have stepped into our territory" Lu Xie said then the vampires hiding showed up one by one
Their eyes were very red and filled with killing intent.
Jiang Ji immediately transformed back into a wolf and ran out behind him where vampires were chasing him ready to kill him.
The Vampires and Werewolves have a boundary and each has its territory, if a werewolf steps into the vampire's territory then it is up to him if he can survive and be killed the same thing with the werewolves and vice versa.
"Your highness, the prince has left the territory with wounds" a vampire kneeled on the ground while bowing
"Good, reward the people who hurt him with the best quality of blood," Lu Xie said coldly
"Yes, your highness," the vampire said happily before he disappeared
Lu Xie held An Yu securely and rode her horse back to her place.
An Yu was quietly in the vampire's hands, she didn't know what to do. She can't run away because vampires are fast and she knows that vampires drink human blood. She suddenly shuddered, is she going to be a blood supplier?
Her body trembled uncontrollably she was scared and tears accumulated in her eyes, she bit her lower lip to surpass her from crying, or else the vampire will kill her.
Lu Xie felt the person in her arms tremble uncontrollably and had some guesses about what she was thinking.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you" Lu Xie said shortening her voice a little
An Yu looked at the vampire and didn't believe but looking at her serious face she believed her. Her eyes were clean and there were no hidden intentions under them. Her body relaxed a bit but her guard is still up for her.
Lu Xie arrived at her home and jumped down her horse then directly took An Yu inside. Put her down on the sofa near the fireplace to warm her up. She lived alone in this mansion since the original owner liked quiet.
"Stay here and warm up, I'll be back" Lu Xie stood up and went to the kitchen to heat some water, took a chocolate powder from her space farm, added it to the cup then poured the hot water.
She went back to the living room and saw that An Yu was obediently sitting on the sofa. Then handed her the cup
An Yu was startled and then took the cup immediately "T..thank you" she said in a low voice. She slowly took a sip her throat and stomach warmed up, and her face was relaxed
Lu Xie breathed in relief she was almost late thankfully she arrived first. She sat down on a chair beside the sofa and closed her eyes.
An Yu noticed her sitting on a chair near where she sitting her body subconsciously trembling and her hands holding the cup shook slightly.
"Do you know where you are?" Lu Xie suddenly said her voice was a little soft
"I. I don't know, i...I was on my home when a ball of light blind me and when I opened my eyes again I was in the forest" An Yu said low as if about to cry
"It seems like you have been transported then, this happens every hundred years. People who came here were either killed, put into slavery, or even dead the next day" Lu Xie stared at her
An Yu was frightened "T--then is there a way for me to go back," she asked both nervous and scared
"There is a way" Lu Xie said seriously
An Yu's eyes lit up and had a little hope in her heart she would return to her world.
"But... The portal would open every 2 years" Lu Xie dropped the bomb
An Yu suddenly tears up, does that mean she's gonna stay here for 2 years? A world where werewolves and vampires exist. How could she survive this place? She didn't have a place to stay?
Lu Xie saw her fears "For the time being you can stay here, but I have one condition" she said lightly
An Yu thought she knew what her condition was, she knew vampires like drinking human blood but she doesn't have a choice this place is safer than in the forest. She would freeze to death before she would even leave this world.
"W--what is your condition," An Yu asked nervously
"Be my fiance" Lu Xie said seriously
An Yu was astounded, she thought she would give her blood to this vampire. Her condition startled her and she was in a daze.
Lu Xie saw that she was in a daze and looked at her helplessly, An Yu saw the way she looked at her and her cheeks burned.
"My family had been urging me to find a fiance, since you know I'm royalty I didn't have a fiance since I was born because other vampires don't dare to be with you" Lu Xie leaned on her chair when a small ball bat comes with a glass of red like blood on the top of its head
An Yu thought of possibilities why she didn't have a fiance, she is either abusive, violent or has a weird temper.
Lu Xie saw her thinking and decided to tell her "My power is on another level that other vampires felt pressured when they were near me. So my parents look for any suitable fiance but none meet my standards and can't take the pressure" she said a little solemnly
Then looked at An Yu "When I was near you I thought you would be overwhelmed by my pressure but surprisingly you didn't react and was fine when near me" Lu Xie continued
"B--But I'm a human. Won't vampires know I'm a human " An Yu said worriedly
"Don't worry, the bracelet in your hand has my breath on it and it would hide your identity as a human" Lu Xie pointed at her wrist
An Yu looked at her left wrist and saw a beautiful bracelet, she didn't notice it until now. The bracelet had stones embedded around it, she had never seen such an exquisite bracelet before.
"This bracelet won't be removed unless I allow it and will help me see your location if ever you try to get away," Lu Xie said lightly
An Yu felt she was threatened if they wouldn't listen she would be killed, so she nodded obediently. 'You can do it, Yu Shen it's the only way she cheered herself up.
"Oh and you don't have to worry about staying here since I'm alone and this place is secluded from other vampires," Lu Xie said before standing up
"After you finish drinking go to my room, which is on the second floor and the only door in the middle" Lu Xie then turned and went to her office
An Yu bit her lower lip and finished drinking, she went to the second floor. There was only a large door in the middle, she twisted the doorknob and then pushed slowly.
She thought the place was going to be old and had a coffin but the place had a large bed with sofas and also lit up with lights. In short, it was like any normal room on earth.
She saw clothes on the bed and a note beside it, it was given to her by the vampire she reluctantly took it and went to the bathroom. The bathroom was as big as the room and very spacious.
An Yu took a bath and then put on the clothes given to her, she had no choice since she didn't have any clothes. She had no idea where she would sleep on the bed or sofa.
