"We greet the chief," they all said respectfully

Tosum lead the way, and Lu Xie followed him with the rest while also looking around. Their tribes location is not good the ground is as dry as the desert.
There are trees about 100 meters away from the tribe which is not convenient.

She didn't know how long they walked but they finally reached their destination.
"Chief, please stay low" Tosum whispered
They all crouched down and hid in the bushes.
Lu Xie was amazed she saw a crocodile, a huge mammoth, a medium size boar that was about a height of a 2 years old, and a rhino.
They are all around the pond drinking, they can't approach them since they will be hostile.
"This is the only water source that's near the tribe and if we want to get water we have to fight them," Tosum said seriously
Lu Xie thought for a while then snapped her fingers "Do you guys have any bamboo or hollowed trees here?" she asked immediately
"I don't know a bamboo but there is a hollowed tree near here" Tosum answered
"That's good, hurry let's go and get some" Lu Xie said excitedly

Trees fell on the ground
Lu Xie inspect the logs and it was indeed hollowed inside while the outside was hard and sturdy. And the hole inside is also huge enough for water to freely flow in.
"Who among you can dig faster?" She asked
"Me chief" a beast kin dog raised his hand
"Good, I want you to dig a very deep hole near the pond but be a little quite so not to get the attention of those beasts" Lu Xie said seriously
"Yes chief" the dog kin then dig a hile with a happy face
Lu Xie knew dogs like digging holes and burying their bones, she chuckled quitely. Then look at the rest.
"I want you guys to make a path way to put the hollowed all the way to the tribe make sure that it's not that deep or on the surface" She ordered seriously
"At your wish chief" they all saud then started to dig
Lu Xie then made her way to the hollowed logs then cut the small hollowed parts of the log then create a way to connect logs after log.
She has great craving skills, and was able to at least help them.
Tosum and the others digging were fire up that made the progress was a little faster. The dog kin also dig also 3 meters deep.
"Chief! Water is coming out of the hole" the dog kin immediately called as he got out the hole
Lu Xie looked at the hole and it was sipping water from the pond "As I thought" she mumbled
"But chief how are we going to transfer this water to the tribe" Tosum asked confuse
"That's the use of the hollowed logs" Lu Xie smirked
"Go get the hollowed logs then placed it down the trail you made" Lu Xie instruct
"Yes chief" Tosum and the others all get the holloed logs
Lu Xie instruct them and connected the logs together so no water is wasted.

The tribe mens and women were all crying in happiness now that water is solved at their tribe.
"Chief the water way was a sucess" Tosum said calmly but deep inside he was happy
Lu Xie nodded she made a 4 meter hole with a stone slab at the bottom so mud won't get mixed with the water went they will get some water.
And supoorted the sides with planks of wood.
"Chief" called Tosum
Lu Xie knew what he would say she stood up and went put the tent she heard them cheer chief again and again.
"Everyone, now that we have a water source I hope no one will go thirsty ever again, but we have to put a rule anyone who get water will have to boil the water before drinking" Lu Xie said seriously
"Huh? Why?" one of them asked
"Because this water is not fresh water there are small organism in the water and by boiling the water those small organism will die and won't cause your body to feel ill" Lu Xie said seriously
"I...is that how my child die from the water"
"My wife too!!"
Some of them mourn.
"Yes it was cause by this small organism so I want you all to do the rule so non of you will feel ill again and you can spend more time with your loved ones" She said
"Waahhh all hail the chief"

"You can now all get some water and boil them" Lu Xie waved her hand then went back to the tent
"Chief" Tosum followed her
"Tosum what kind of animals is there in this forest that you guys are hunting?" She asked
Now that water is secured now she has to worry about food she needs to know if there is any animals they domesticate.
"There's a lot but the easy prey that we can caught are a bunny, wild boars and some herbs. Our tools are not strong enough to take on our stronger prey" Tosum replied
Lu Xie nodded the only tools they have are stone tools, she sighed she needs to find a mine to get materials for weapons and armors.
Also she needs to increase the population so the tribe can grow, so far the tribe only has 50 men, 20 elderly of both gender and 30 female including her.
She thought for a while when she thought of an idea.
"Tosum are there any beast kin like cows, sheep and centaurs?"
