Chapter 13: An embarrasment (Edited)

"She cursed my mother?" Jeff yelled as his friends tried to keep him still.

"Chill, she was just angry," Mike tried soothing him although it was evident that he was bored with all the yawning he was doing.

"I don't care, she cursed my mother!"

Jason picked up his jacket from a seat in the dining room and walked in front of him. He stopped and shook his head in pity. "I used to adore you bro, but look at you, you're bullying a girl who is married to you, who couldn't even escape this marriage, who has nowhere to go? What have you become? You know what, you're petty and pathetic! And let me tell you, wherever mother is, I am very sure she is embarrassed to be called your mother." he walked away and that seemed to hit Jeff hard.

Was his brother angry with him because of what he did today? But that wasn't the first time he had treated someone harshly and his brother was aware. Was he really bullying her, didn't she interfere with his life, her presence made him and his loved one fail to get married. Her presence ruined his relationship but really was it her fault?

"Hey man, isn't this your wife!" Mike called as he lowered his phone for Jeff to see. "The pic is trending like no man's business."

True to his word, Amy stood next to Jason and a lady he didn't know. The lady was dressed in a black gown and had flowing blond hair while Jason stood in the middle of them, his left side was black like he was wearing a suit and holding a rose to the lady while his right side where Amy stood was blue and white as if he was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans and holding headphones to Amy while Amy had blue ripped jeans short with a white cropped T-shirt and a blue bandana on her forehead while her dreadlocks were tied to make a ponytail.

"She looks badass," Ralph commented and Jeff had to agree with them especially spotting a tattoo he couldn't make out properly peeping from her T-shirt on her arm, he had never seen her locks away from her face and he had to admit that she was indeed cute. But instead of feeling proud or happy, he felt awful.

She had refused to accompany him to a mask party when he didn't have a date but she had gone with his brother for a shoot. But then really had he ever been nice to her? "Man. You should chill down." Oliver finally spoke. "And it's kind of getting late, we should head home."

Jeff looked at them with disbelief. "You want to leave? Isn't this great, please let me show you out?" He faked modesty which was something lacking between the boys, especially when they were alone.

Ralph made himself comfortable on the sofa. "This house is huge enough to host us, I am going nowhere." He got on his feet and found himself a room and made himself comfortable as the rest did the same leaving Jeff shaking his head at their shamefulness.
