Chapter 38: In a tight position

Martin on the other dropped like a dead fish on the ground going stiff. It was not because he could not do anything. But it was hard to think of him punishing his own mother. The woman has raised him on her own for so many years. It was a hard question for him.

Looking at his behavior. Mr. Smith was disappointed but a thought crept on his mind.. what would be the best punishment than a son sending his mother to prison...

"I think I have had enough patience with you two... Martin, I took you as a son and treated you like one. But what you have done is not something I can tolerate. I have enough evidence and witnesses of what happened back then... " 

He turned to look at his guard and dropped a few documents near Martin. They were police statements, sworn affidavits from the witnesses
