Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Pandora's Curse

A strong sensation courses through the teen's veins. Crash can feel the energy swelling inside of him as he grabs hold of the box. While his friends watch in curious confusion, Crash bows his head. He takes in a deep breath and holds for…one…two…three…and seven. Upon the last count, Crash exhales slowly. His sights are on the box in his hand.

Crash runs a finger across the edges of the frame. He casts an eye at Alex, who brings the box's lid closer. The trio was unable to fix the broken mechanism with glue. However, once the shadow fiend is inside the container, Alex plans on topping the lid. Karma is in charge of applying the final seal of epoxy. All the while, Crash is to be the one to hold the box tightly.

"Are you sure?" Alex asks with furrowed brows of concern.
