Chapter 5: Prepartions!
After returning from the academy, one week passed by quickly and today is the day for the results to be announced. As usual after some light training in the morning, I was about to take bath when a crisp sound rang feminine voice reverberated in my room:
[Master, A mail have arrived from Unicorn Academy have arrived. What do you want me to do?]
Stopping, I nonchalantly said: "Sarah, don't disturb me when I'm about to take a bath. Anyway, project the mail to me."
[Right away. Master.]
That's right, it's an AI, named Sarah. I developed it while studying CS. So, now basically it controls all of my mails and other miscellaneous task.
After a while, a screen containing mail from academy is projected over my wrist widget, which is a mini-computer in the form of a watch.

It was a congratulatory message for passing the exam. After reading the message, I opened 'Student Ranking' section of the exam. It showed a big list of students, but I just focused on the top 100 students.

After looking through the list, I noticed that Kevin and Monica are in the top 10. I was not really surprised to see myself in the top of the list. I kinda guessed it after I saw Vice Head Glen reaction after seeing me kill 180 golems.
Shrugging my shoulder, I headed to the bathroom.

After the bath, I opened the Unicorn Official website and noted a few things.
First, all the students must live in the academy. Unicorn provides students to dorm buildings according to their Rankings and their individual budgets. Dorm buildings are divided into 5 buildings: Mammoth, Pegasus, Minotaur, Basilisk and Golden troll.
Mammoth is for elites, which are mainly top 10 students from each year. It provides students everything they need for their training. From large maintained private training rooms, butlers for individual students, restaurants, etc.
Pegasus is for students from rich and influential backgrounds. It also provides all the things, but it can only be afforded from richest of the students.
Minotaur is the last dorm which provides private training rooms with somewhat affordable prices. It can only be afforded who can spend extra for their private training rooms.
The last two are Basilisk and Golden troll, which don't provide training rooms, but only accommodations. Basilisk living quarters are better than Golden troll, while Golden troll is for those who can't afford for dorms. It is mainly used by students with scholarships or those who can't afford more than it.
Second, all the students are to report before April 3rd and the classes will start from April 10th. We are given a week to settle in the Academy.
Third, uniforms for the academy are divided for every year. First years' uniform is navy blue in color, second years' uniform is neon green in color and Third years' uniform is Blood red.
After checking all the necessary stuff for the academy, I started the preparations to leave for the academy.

8:00 a.m., April 2nd, 2055. Hall Manor, Vego.
By the end of April 1st, I completed all the preparations to leave for the academy. My mother helped me pack with all the stuff I may need in the academy from all types of potions, herbs and all other useless stuff like 'protections' not just one but a whole lot of different flavors.
When I asked for why she added it, she said:
"I know, you will be flooded with girls as soon as you enter the academy, and I don't want to be a grandmother this early. So I added those just in case you need them. haha~"
I really don't understand her, one time she will be really scary and another not make any sense.
Anyway; Now, I am ready to leave for the Unicorn academy. I checked my equipments one last time which consist of:

The reason I don't have higher rank equipments was because my rank is not high enough to use artifacts of higher ranks. But I had one equipment of higher rank, it is a bracelet shaped artifact:

Use: Automatically creates mana shield around the user when sensed with danger. Can stop attacks twice of Rank-A or lower.
Description: Artifact was found in a dungeon. It is made by both an expert artisan and a blacksmith. It is durable and create shield in case of life-threatening situations.

After all the equipments, I headed out, where mom and dad were waiting for me. After seeing me, my mom came to me and patted on the back and said:
"Aha! Now you are here. Get going or you will be late."
"Yes, yes."
"Work hard and good luck with the academy."
"Thanks dad. I will do my best."
I headed for the car, where guild's driver was already sitting. Then, waving at my mom and dad, I said:
"Bye mom, bye dad. I will get going now."
"Okay. Oh! And don't forget to use those while doing it."
"Yeah, alright."
"What do you mean?" asked my dad, confused.
"No, It's nothing. Darling~"
Sitting back in the backseat, I waved for the driver to get going. Then, closing my eyes, I waited to arrive at the academy.
