Chapter 11: Chapter 11 : Kaiju Man
Seconds later, Kaiju, Sho, Bebop, Gideon, Kell, and May were standing near the table.
Kell asked, "What the hell do you want from me and my wonderful sister?"
Kaiju smirked, "Oi, oi..no need to be so hostile. Uncool. I don't like secrets, you seemed to be involved with Sho. So if you're involved with him, you're involved in this conversation."
"He's nothing but a mere class D Fighter. I'm offended you didn't come for me. Scum."
"Hohh? I like the way you talk, but I see you more as an ally instead of a rival."
May sighed, "Kell, can we bounce?"
Kell responded, "No. I'm curious now, I feel offended. We're staying."
"I gotta piss."
Kaiju said to Sho, "So what's your answer? You WANT to fight to the death, right?"
Sho responded, "You fucking walked in here like you were demanding me to be your rival."
Gideon whispered to Sho, "Sho! If you fight him, you'll loseeee. We got lucky with Acna because you were properly placed in a good position, and your weapon was soooo convenient! If he's seen the pictures of your fight, he'll use that against you.."
"Ah?"
Sho said to Kaiju, "You can be patient and wait for me to get stronger, then I'll kill you. But I'm killing Kell before I kill you."
Kell said, "Tch. You can't touch me."
"Why are you still here?"
"B-Because! I am offended! No one chooses to be your rival! This scum elf man chose you over me! I am stronger than everyone in here!"
Kaiju laughed, "Haha! I like you! I like the both of you! Two Fighters arguing over who I should take as a rival!"
Sho responded, "I'm not fighting over shit. I don't wanna be your rival. I'm leaving now."
Sho tried to leave, but Kaiju grabbed Sho's arm, saying, "Whoa, leaving so soon? There was something else I wanted to talk about too…"
Sho was about to do something, but Bebop's familiar Dero came out, and he and Gideon punched Kaiju straight in the face.
A large shot of wind blasted out, and the Fighters exclaimed, "Ohhhh!"
Kaiju blasted out of the cafe, and started rolling in the street.
Kaiju sat up, laughing, "EXCELLENT!"
All the Fighters were going outside, including Sho, Bebop and her familiar Dero, Gideon, Kell, and May.
The Fighters said:
"Whoa!"
"He flew like a fucking plane!"
"A mere child did that!"
"And that weird kid, Gideon! I heard of him. He's crazy."
Kaiju stood up, spitting to the side, "Haha..you two his bodyguards or what?"
Gideon smiled, "Sorry, misterrr elf guy. We can't let you fight Sho at alllll. He's..not ready."
Sho was walking forward, rolling up his sleeves, "I'm gonna kill that bastard!"
Kell pulled out a black katana sword, and he put it in front of Sho, blocking him.
Kell said, "You'll die. Because you're so weak. I can't let anyone else take your life, that is my job."
Sho looked at Kell and May, thinking, 'Kell and May..Kell is a class A with a power level of 115,000. May is a class C with a power level of 10,000. Pfft. They are stronger than me in power terms…I can't be beaten by Kell. I won't accept it.'
Sho pushed Kell, saying, "Fuck off me! You're lucky I don't have my knife!"
"PFFT! A KNIFE?! EWWWW. Must be your first time touching real silverware. You used to dig in trash cans for plastic spoons."
Sho said, "I never did that, you bastard. I'm gonna end you, right in front of your sister. And once I reach the top of the tower, I'm gonna deliver your head to your parents!"
May grabbed Kell by the ear, saying, "Oi. That's enough. It's annoying."
Kell replied, "Let go! Scum!"
"Heh? Dude, you just called me wonderful….? Make up your mind."
"Stop talking like that!"
"Like what?"
Kell moved away from May, and wiped his ear, "Now I must wash my ear 100 times."
"But you just called me wonderful not too long ago.."
"Everyone is dirty."
"Also, if you wanna kill Sho, why don't you do it now? What's stopping you? Maybe you like having him around…you'll feel lonely."
"Y-You're stupid! You know nothing! You're spouting nonsense like scum!"
"I know a lot to be honest bro."
May then looked at Sho, and she looked away fast when Sho noticed her looking at him.
Kell exclaimed to May, "STOP STARING AT HIM!"
May replied, "I'm not staring at him."
Kaiju said, "Sho Takahashi! These are some fine Fighters you have to try and stop me! Makes me wanna fight you even more! You see..back in my own world, I was never beaten, we held tournaments, and I won them all. Battles to the death, I conquered all. And I never had fun in the process. Trained by my father, a man who has only lost once out of thousands of fights. I've had thousands of fights, and I've surpassed him. I came to the tower just to see if there was anyone here to give me a decent challenge! So, I'm done waiting! Sho! Please fight me now! I'll go easy on you until your knife reforms! If you take too long to answer, I'll just come at you!"
Bebop replied, "No.."
Gideon added, "You'll have to fighttttt us, mister elffff man."
Kell started to walk forward, saying, "That's not happening."
Everyone looked at Kell.
Kaiju said, "Hm?"
Kell continued, "Honestly, if you fight Sho as he is now, you'll win. Even if he had his knife. I can't have his life taken from someone that isn't me."
"What are you proposing?"
"Fight me. And if I win, you leave."
"Nope."
"Hah?"
"I came here to fight Sho Takahashi, not anyone else."
"What makes you think a class D Fighter will give you any type of excitement?"
"I never heard of a class D Fighter taking down a class A Fighter. Even though it is possible for things like that to happen, if the lower rank class plays his cards and uses his tactics right. And his attitude, he gives off the perfect entertaining aura!"
Sho thought, 'Kell is right. If I fight Kaiju now, I'll lose. Even with my knife, he's more built, and he seems faster and tougher. And plus, he may have the drop on my knife abilities, so he'll use that to his advantage. Shit! I look so weak right now, I gotta do something. If I don't, Kaiju is gonna bombard his way past Bebop and Gideon just to get to me. He promised to wait, but the punch by Bebop and Gideon got his blood pumping. It's like he's blacked out. I haven't even gotten to train yet! Fuck!'
A large glowing yellow and battle ax began to form in Kaiju's hands, and he said, "Here I come.."
Gideon said, "Not gooood!"
Bebop, still had her familiar out, and said, "Gotta fight…gotta fight."
May thought, 'Oh. This elf is serious. Should I step in? Nah…hell nah. Sho might think I like him. I don't like him or anything. I don't like anyone..I mean he's not bad looking, maybe his attitude is pretty hot..but I don't like him. I don't like anybody.'
Kaiju bent his knees, saying, "Get ready! Sho Takahashi!"
Sho thought, 'Here he comes!'
Kaiju took one step forward, but Kell was standing in front of Kaiju, and Kell was swinging his black sword at Kaiju's head, saying, "No one kills Sho but me. That means I'm gonna eliminate you, dirty elf scum."
Kaiju dodged the attack, ducking quickly as a cloud of black smoke slashed from Kell's sword, and the force destroyed a building behind Kaiju.
Kell thinks, 'He dodged it. The speed of my katana is one of its skills…called Rain Dance. Where I can swing 5 times at crazy speed and damage. Can swing four more times! I can't let up, if I miss all four, he'll definitely retaliate and fight me. Step close…'
Kell turned around, and dashed back at Kaiju, and swung again at fast speed and strength. Kell aimed for Kaiju's stomach, but Kaiju leaned back to avoid it, and the force destroyed another building behind Kaiju, making it crash to the ground.
Sho watched this, thinking, 'Kell may be an asshole, but he's..strong. I won't take that away from him. Even when we fought back at school, it was a pretty even fight. His weapon in the tower is a katana, each swing is faster than a jet, and the destructive force can topple a whole building. I've been asleep for a week since we've been in the tower, and he's leveled up fast.'
Sho looked at May, and May looked at him.
May looked away, saying, "What are you looking at?"
Sho replied, "You were looking at me first, dumbass."
"You're the dumbass. You must've looked at me because you thought I was cute or some shit."
"Not at all. Just watching my back. I don't trust any of you fools."
"Sure bud."
Kell swung twice at Kaiju, and Kaiju dodged them both, and the forces destroyed more buildings behind them, even breaking the ground.
Kell thought, 'Two more swings, but it's no use. I'll have to go with another approach. I'd go all out, but my precious sister is around. I'll just use Hell Break.'
Kell stabbed his sword into the road, and black katana's blades began to shoot out from underground, sticking upward all over the place near Kaiju, trying to pierce through him. Kaiju ran around, flipping over them, and sliding past them. He was cut in the arm, but he still had a straight face.
Kaiju did a front flip over one sword, and Kell thought, 'Now! Rain Dance..'
Kell dashed up to Kaiju, and swung twice at Kaiju, but Kaiju had already planned to have his axe there, predicting Kell would come.
Kell's sword and Kaiju's ax met, and there was a loud bang, and it sent them both flying back, with the ground under them cracking again, and with their feet sliding back on the ground.
Gideon said, "Epicccc…"
Bebop had made her familiar go away, and she uttered, "Big bang.."
The other Fighters watching said:
"Incredible.."
"Why wasn't Kaiju fighting back?"
"Was he scared?"
Kaiju implied, "I said I won't be fighting anyone here unless it was Sho Takahashi. I always mean what I say. And I don't fight children. You all will bore me, and I don't want to be bored before I fight Sho Takahashi. I've lost my motivation. Sho Takahashi, I will see you again, and we will fight alone. In the meantime, I wanna see you in action. There is a Fighter event going on tomorrow afternoon. A lot of Fighters will be there, show up."
Sho replied, "You don't tell me what to do. And what the hell is a Fighter event?"
Gideon turned around, saying, "Ohhh I forgot to tell youuuu! Fighter Events are events all kinds of Fighters attend to earn points and magic crystals, and if you win, you earn a non-weapon ability!"
"What happens there?"
"All the Fighters compete to win, to reach the end of a very dangerous obstacle course, and it could be in the form of anythingggg!"
"We're going."
Kaiju grinned, "Great! Sho Takahashi! I do not fight children as small as that Bebop girl, so she is your saving grace for today. I will catch you off guard one of these days, maybe even at the event tomorrow afternoon. For now, I consider you my acquaintance. And Kell, I will catch you somewhere else one of these days, and it will be our fight."
Kell responded with a smile, "Great. Can't wait to annihilate."
"It would've been a somewhat interesting fight if I would've fought back. But you have not piqued my interest."
"Damn you to hell, scum!"
Kaiju looked at Sho, "Sho Takahashi. There is another reason why I am interested in you. You have the same last name of the woman, the Takahashi woman. She was well known in my world."
Sho gasped, "What?! Who?!"
Kaiju leaped into the air, and he dashed away from everyone.
Sho exclaimed, "Oi! You bastard!"
Kell stretched, "Welp, me and my precious sister are going to hit the hay. Don't die until I get to you, Sho."
Sho responded, "Only a few more minutes until my knife reforms, I wanna fight."
"You wanna fight, knowing you'll lose? Were you even watching my fight?"
"Tch."
Sho thought, 'I know I'll lose if I fight now, while I'm underpowered. It's just the fact that I don't wanna be shown up by that fool. I'll let him leave for now.'
Sho turned his back to Kell, saying, "You don't die either. I'm outta here. Gideon, Bebop, let's go."
Bebop exclaimed, "Yay! No more fighting!" She ran up and started to cling to Sho's leg.
Gideon said, "I know a good inn we can go to!"
Sho answered, "They have inn's here?"
"You can use Fighter points to check into inn's for a small priceeee until we have enough points to buy our own safe house!"
"We can do that shit here?"
"Yep!"
Bebop even said, "Yes! Moxxen had one! You've been in it!"
Sho, Bebop, and Gideon were walking away, and Bebop turned to look at May.
May looked at Bebop, and Bebop waved at May.
May thought, 'She's..waving at me.'
May slightly waved back, and Bebop started to make funny faces at May, and May barely let out a small chuckle.
May thought again, 'I'm getting baby fever.'
Kell said to May, "Come, May. We are departing from this area."
"Aight."
"Stop talking like that."
"Like what?"
"UGH!"
"We heading to that Fighter event tomorrow?"
"Of course we are. This will be the third one we participate in. We will take whatever we can get. The only reason I'm a higher level than you is because-."
"You sneak out at night and do all the raids you can do by yourself. And you steal my kills. Fucking ball hog."
"I do not!"
"You do. And your power is better than mine."
"Don't be ungrateful. Or jealous. Jealousy is for poor scums."
"Trust me, I'm not."
[A nearby Inn]
[Room 20]
Gideon and Bebop were laying in separate beds, with Bebop sleeping halfway off the bed, and Gideon sleeping with a smile.
The room was fairly big, big enough for at least 10 people. It had a TV on the wall, and the beds were in front of the wall. And there was a small kitchen on the left side of the TV."
Sho was standing near the door, thinking, 'With them asleep, this is better. I'll head to the roof, and train. And then after..I'm gonna do some raids alone. It'll be morning before I'm done with everything.'
Sho opened the door, and he walked out in the hallway, closing the door and locking it behind him.
There was a man and a woman a few doors down, both Fighters, both wearing chest armor and pants, saying to each other:
"How could you cheat on me with an alien?!"
"Honey! I'm sorry! His sword was bigger!"
"EXCUSE ME?! This sword I got on me has saved you from death PLENTY of times!"
"Ugh! You're not getting it!"
Sho walked up to them, and said, "Oi.."
They both looked at Sho, "Huh?"
"Shut…the hell up. If you make another sound while there are people in my room asleep, and if they wake up, I'll kill you both. I'm not ready for them to be awake."
Sho walked away, and the Fighters whispered to each other:
"Sorry I cheated on you."
"I love you."
"Let's get married here."
"Sure."
"We're only class Z Fighters. We can't really fight."
"Yeah, he'd destroy us."
"I don't wanna get beaten up in front of you. It will be embarrassing."
"I love you for your honesty."
Sho was on the roof, and he sat down. He put his watch near his mouth, saying, "Training room."
Sho was in the white training room, standing up with the options menu in front of him.
'I gotta get stronger than everyone. Half of the Fighters in the tower got a head start. I'm falling behind, I need to catch up. Kaiju mentioned something about a relative of mine that I never even heard of. It's probably nothing, but I keep thinking about that also, along with the shit that's happened today. I got lucky. Every training session, I'm gonna extend the intensity by 100, each time. Even if it fucks me up. I'll get stronger. I won't be left behind. I'll start with the freestyle first, work on my strength with the weights, work on my cardio and toughness, and my fighting skills; then I'll start fighting the holographic clones for combat training, going up a difficulty each time I win. And if I take a single piece of damage from any of them, I'm starting over the session.'
