There is a reason why a Pokemon's strength, in general, can be written down like data in the games. Even the smallest Pokemon again all disadvantages can take down the biggest Pokemon.

Same as last time David began first by commanding his 10 m long Gyarados to use water pulse.
" Charmander use mega kick on the ground and use fire spin full power "
A ring of water emerged from the mouth of Gyarados towards Charmander who kicked the ground, jumped high in the air, and enveloped the ring of water into a tornado of flames.
'Seems like you have a way to deal with water pulse.
Let me see what you can do in a situation when everything is a disadvantage to your Pokemon.'
David commanded Gyarados to abandon Water Pulse and do something different.
" Gyarados rain dance "
" Charmander sunny day "
Both of them used a move to turn the field to their advantage but Gyarados had more experience in this move so his rain dance would prevail over Sunny day.
But the real objective of Aoki was not to set up Sunny day but to use a move but to use a secret skill.
" Charmander now use flame rain "
The shower of rain reacted with the rain and filled the entire battlefield with vapor lowering the visibility.
" I don't know what are you trying to achieve but it's useless if you think lowering the visibility would give you an advantage.
Gyarados use twister "
Dragon-type energy revolved around Gyarados trying to remove the vapor but Aoki smiled seeing this.
"Charmander use explosion "
Charmander used smokescreen into the tornado turning it completely dark and next used ember into the tornado.
Boom !!!
'Inflammable smoke….Interesting' a thin smile surfaced on David's face.
A large explosion covered the entire field, not only did it do a good amount of damage to Gyarados but also removed the effect of a rain dance.
" Gyarados snap out of it and use Hydro Pump "
Red-eyed Gyarados became angry after getting hit and started blasting Charmander with a high-pressure hydro pump.
" Charmander double team and dragon breath "
Multiple images of Charmander appeared around the pool and started shooting dragon breath at Gyarados from different directions but David found out the real Charmander.
"Gyarados Waterpulse "
'This is unavoidable and Charmander doesn't have enough time for Fire Spin'
"Charmander use your new trick
Flame cloak!!"
A ring of water shot towards Charmander. Charmander used a mega kick to jump near the ring of water using a cloak of flames.
The ring evaporated before coming doing damage to Charmanden while Charmander blasted a flamethrower at the face of Gyarados.
" Gyarados counter with hydro pump "
The water and fire type energy clashed but the fire instead of getting pushed clashed equally against the water type energy.
" It's not enough Charmander, show him the true power of flames "
The flame on his trail became stronger as his eyes sharpened and finally the power behind his flames increased to a new degree even pushing back the hydro pump.
David and Misty's sisters were not shocked to see Gyarados' Hydro pump getting pushed back but Misty was shocked.
Although she was telling about Aoki winning from the start, she never expected Charmander to fight against a Gyarados like this.
'I have a lot to learn' Misty thought seeing the faces of her family members.
The strong flame thrower did good damage even after Gyaradsos was water-type.
"Gyarados use surf"
The water in the pool began rising and slammed into Charmander like a wave.
"It's the end, Charmander can't dodge, " said Lily.
" Just water is not enough to stop us…Charmander mega kick and Drago-flame cloak " Charmander kicked the ground with a heavy force pivoting him towards the coming wave.
His entire body was covered in a reddish-purple glow as he clashed against the wave creating a large amount of vapor.
"This is bad, Gyarados dodge " but it was too late to dodge as Charmander's dragon claw slashed against Gyarados's face.
" Gyarados don't give up use thrash "
Normal type energy enveloped Gyarados's body as he slammed his tail at Charmander.
" Charmander use three claw combo "
Steel-type energy and dragon-type energy gathered in the claws of Charmander as he clashed against Gyarados.
Charmander began running on the body of Gyarados and started using metal claws, flame claw, and dragon types in rotation.
Gyarados tried fending off Charmander but Charmander stuck to his body with his claws.
"Let's do that buddy !" called out Aoki
With another mega kick on Gyarados's stomach, Charmander jumped in the air.
David realized that something dangerous was coming.
" Gyarados use hyper beam "
" Charmander use a special move Draconic flamethrower "
The fire on the Charmander began emitting blue sparks while his eyes turned red focusing on Gyarados.
With a roar, he released a stream of purple flames from his mouth which was a mixture of dragon and fire-type energy increasing the power to a new level.
At the same time, Gyarados released a hyper beam. The two energy collided and made the surroundings so bright that everyone had to close their eyes.
Boom!
An explosion occurred on a bigger scale than last time making David and Aoki slide back with sheer force.
All the water in the pool had evaporated lowering the visibility in the field.
Everyone had the same thought ' who won '
Aoki released Pidgeotto to remove the vapors.
When the vision became clear a shocking scene came into the view of the Williams family.
Gyarados was laying fainted at the bottom of the pool whereas Charmander was standing on one of the platforms taking deep breaths.
"Gyarados loses Combat capability, Challenger Aoki wins the match " announced Daisy still shaken by the result.
Charmander ran towards Aoki with a smile.
" I knew you could do it, You always make me proud buddy "
Charmander looked towards Aoki with expectation-filled eyes, Aoki understood what he was implying.
He fed Charmadner some fire-type enhancing poke block and kept 3 fire stones around him.
" You can evolve now Charmander "
Charmander was enveloped in bright light as the fire stones started breaking and getting absorbed into the evolution light.
"Listen to my voice
Let the dragon-type and fire-type energy flow freely
Remember all the moments we spent together "
Aoki released all his Pokemon who witnessed the evolution of their fried.
The temperature of the area increased while the light turned red.
With a burst of flames, a 1.7 m tall dark red Charmaleon brimming with muscles came into view. Chameleon released a loud roar announcing his evolution.
Unlike the orange body scales on Charmander, the scales on Charmeleon were red. He now had a horn growing at the back of his head. Along with his height, the claws on his feet and hands increased in length and sharpness.
He looked towards Aoki with his blue eyes and extended his hand making a first, Aoki too extended his hand and gave Charmeleon a fist bump.
"Congratulations buddy "
~Chaaar ~
Clap Clap
"I like your battle style boy! I will let you have my daughter."
Hearing this a smile bloomed on Misty's face. She knew how overprotective her father was so she thought that he would never approve of their relationship.
It's been a while since a challenger managed to defeat my Gyarados and made me excited in a match " said David as he approach Aoki.
" I was surprised that dad used his Gyarados as he only used him he is serious in a match, " said Daisy.
David took out the cascade badge and handed it to Aoki.
"I present you the cascade badge for defeating me "
"Thank you, " said Aoki as he put the badge in his badge case.
Clefairy did another short dance and gave Aoki and Charmeleon a hug.
Although Clefairy appeared cute and friendly, during training sessions, she becomes a monster that slams everyone to the ground with gravity.
"I heard that you can make delicious food, please help with today's lunch if you don't mind, " said David as a smile surfaced on his face unlike before.
Aoki felt like after he defeated David, his entire personality changed.
Earlier he appeared to be a grumpy man who never smiled but he appeared like a normal person now.
