Chapter 120: Lord of the forest.
Sensing the arrival of Zapdos, the sleeping Pokemons woke up and gave Zapdos a hug too.
"I assigned them to look after my egg after I was gone. " Zapdos said.
The area they lived in was a very good spot built by Zapdos for electric Pokemon.
Thunderclouds, ample food, magnetic fields, electric rocks, etc.
From what Aoki saw till now, Zapdos was the ruler of this region as every electric Pokemon bowed their heads when Zapdos passed over them.
A comedic scene happened as the electric Pokemons tried giving the menacing Charizard a hug which he didn't reject but made an awkward face.
Pidgeot meanwhile accepted the hugs happily.
The Pokemon were not afraid to approach Aoki as he had made his presence friendly and harmless.

Pikachus and Mareeps felt like melting with pleasure and comfort as Aoki started petting them. Their fur was so soft Aoki could not control himself and pet them too much.
"Can I take a closure look at your egg?" Aoki asked
Zapdos nodded giving her consent.
With Zapdos's permission, Aoki started to look at the egg with his Pokedex recording function turned on.
The egg was the largest egg with a height of around 1m.
It was mostly with patches of yellow and brown here and there.
Aoki subjected his aura to the egg and sensed strong vitality and a fast heartbeat.
There were even some movements inside the egg.
After Bagon's egg had hatched, Aoki studied Pokemon eggs, and after reading the heartbeat he was sure that the egg was very close to hatching.
There are many ways to indicate the time of hatching an egg.
First was the size and color of the egg.
The second was the heartbeat of the egg.
Every species have a different heartbeat for their hatching but the average is around the same so that value is taken as standard.
Aoki was not sure if that applied to legendary Pokemon eggs and as expected the heartbeat was way above normal level.
"Seems like your child is very close to being born, " Aoki said as Zapdos agreed with him.
Zapdos asked Aoki to stay there for the day and relax for a while.
He would be getting his rewards after a while.
Aoki climbed down from the cliff and entered the forest to do his work.
He released all his Pokemons and asked them to explore as much as they liked for the next few hours after which they will start their training.
Darkrai looked in a specific direction and then returned to what he was doing.
[Someone is keeping an eye on you] Darkrai's voice sounded in Aoki's head.
'Is this the second legendary that is maintaining the domain ?'
[Most probably]
'Don't approach them, let them take the initiative to approach if needed'
Aoki collected some fruits and stones found in that place and started to see if they were any different.
The fruits he picked up looked like the commonly found fruits but what made him pick those was because of their extra-large size and different color.
Most of the fruits were sweet with some having a tingling sensation on the tongue.
He kept the seeds with him to try if the trees would grow normally or needs a constant supply of electricity.
The various-sized rocks he picked up gave him a surprise.
Some of the rocks were very strong natural magnets while some were bits of low-grade thunderstone.
Some Mareeps and Pichus saw Aoki with his research tools and surrounded him to see what he was doing with curiosity.
Only the junior-level Pokemons approached him while the higher ranks ignored Aoki as if he was invisible.
Aoki saw this and gave them some Pokeblocks which the Pokemon hungrily devoured.
This attracted more of the wild Pokemons so Aoki asked them to bring him vegetables and fruits if they wanted tasty food.
This was a good chance for Aoki to observe Pokemon like Mareeps and Electrike for which he had to go to Jhoto or Hoen normally.
At that time Clefable returned after a short journey and saw the crowd of Pokemon that surrounded Aoki.
'He is at it again' Clefable approached them with a smile.
It was pretty common for Aoki to feed wild Pokemon that approached him for food.
Usually, wild Pokemon stayed away because of their power but those who dated to approach were rewarded with a tasty meal.
Clefable decided to help Aoki with his cooking and distributed the work 50-50.
The meal continued till afternoon when all the Pokemon stayed after a meal and decided to take a nap there without leaving.
Aoki didn't say anything and started packing his things when he sensed a tuck on his shirt and widened his eyes seeing the one responsible.
It was a small green fairy-like Pokemon.
It was the mythical Pokemon Celebi, the lord of the forest and time travel ability user.
~Beeee~ the Pokemon cried with her fingers pointing at her mouth as if asking for food.
Aoki gave her a smile and took out the Pokeblocks from his bag handing them to Celebi.
~Biii~
Celebi cheered smelling the fragrance and immediately started eating sitting on Aoki's shoulder.
'I never expected to see a Celebi here….that explains the peculiarity of this region and how it was so well hidden.'
The Celebi in front of Aoki was only a master level, even then he had to be careful against a mythical Pokemon especially related to time.
After having her meal Celebi made a thanking gesture at Aoki and fell asleep on top of the largest Mareep.
