Chapter 26: The Rematch !
Both: "YOU!!!"
They glared at each other, a palpable tension could be felt.
Yang: "Among all the people I could have bumped into, it had to be you!"
Ayden: "Well then blondie? Are you not looking where are you going?"
Yang: "Are you kidding me! You weren't looking where you were going either!"
Ayden: "Sorry Goldilocks but I don't have time to waste with you."
Ayden walked past her and started to leave.
Yang: "That's not my name!"
Ayden: "What? Would you rather I call you big titty blondie?"
Yang: "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!"
Yang's eyes begin to turn dangerously red.
Ayden: "Didn't you hear me? Don't tell me you're deaf too!"
Yang was starting to go crazy, he had a knack for pissing her off.
Yang: "That's enough, I'll kick your ass once and for all!"
She activated her weapons and took her fighting stance.
Ayden looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
Ayden: "Alright! If you want to fight again, I'll beat you up, but not here, follow me."
Yang: "Where are you going!"
Ayden: "Out of town, dummy we're not gonna fight here, we might hurt somebody."
Yang looked around and could see some peoples looking in their direction with a worried and puzzled look on their faces. It hurt to admit it but Ayden was right, they couldn't fight here, there would be too much damage.
Ayden: What a pity your brain isn't as developed as your chest." He said as they headed out of town.
Yang had to show a strong will in order not to throw herself on him to wring his neck.
They walked for a while in a dead silence before arriving in an open field in which they could fight without restraint.
They posted themselves about ten meters from each other and activated their weapons and yang took her combat pose.
Yang: "Your little trick won't work this time!"
Ayden: "Don't worry, I'm not going to use it ."
Ayden wanted to beat her without needing to use the time skip, he wanted to win with his own strength to see the progress he made.
He took his combat position in turn. The two fighters looked at each other for a moment without moving and in silence when yang broke the silence and propelled herself forward at blazing speed using her gauntlets.
She was clearly faster than their last fight, ayden could see she hadn't skimped on her training. Indeed what ayden did not know is that yang had doubled her efforts during her training after being beaten by ayden, she who had always relied on her strength and her semblance received a cold shower when she realized that it was no longer enough.
Yang came up to Ayden and threw a straight punch at his face which Ayden dodged by shifting to the side. She continued with a circular kick still in the direction of his face, he dodged by bending down and then sent a punch that Yang blocked with her own fist.
Ayden could feel that her strength had also greatly increased but unfortunately for her, she was not the only one to improve. Ayden's training with the gravity gear strengthened his body to a whole new level, his strength and speed had been increased drastically.
Ayden pushed yang back with his fist, making her go backwards, she fired a salvo of bullets at him but he activated his gloves in fire mode and created explosions to propel himself and dodge the bullets (like bakugou), he arrived at full speed towards yang and kicked her hard in the stomach knocking her back several meters but yang got up quickly and rushed at ayden again launching a barrage of punchs and kicks.
Ayden did the same and their blows clashed at full speed. The impact of their blows echoed through the field, their exchange of blows continued for a while but ayden was much faster than yang and managed to pass through her barrage and hit her in the face which unsettled her but ayden did not stop there. He grabbed her by the hair and kicked her with his knees in the guts several times then he activated his right glove in electric mode and hit her with all his strength in the face sending her flying for several meters creating a trail on the ground where she rolled.
She got up a little stunned and wiped the blood that was running down her mouth, then saw Ayden jump into the sky and turn his gloves to ice mode. He joined his hands together and fell at full speed on yang who had just enough time to shoot on the ground with her gauntlets to send herself in the air and dodge ayden's attack.
Ayden slams his hands down creating a huge area of ice covered in spikes all around him. Yang landed further away and watched the attack she had just narrowly avoided but Ayden didn't give her time to admire the scenery and switched his gloves to electric mode and fired a barrage of electric projectiles at her.
Yang ran while dodging the shots then stopped and shot too, her bullets colliding with the projectiles creating a smoking screen as they exploded. Yang stopped shooting having no more visibility in front of her, it was then that Ayden emerged from the smoke and hit her in the face with a double drop kick sending her rolling again for several meters.
Ayden stood there watching yang stand up in the distance. An explosion of fire appeared around yang, her eyes having turned ruby red and her hair covered in flames.
Yang: "Now it's time to get down to business!"
She said banging her fists together.
She ran like a rocket towards Ayden and he, unlike the first time, rushed forward ready to face her head-on. They both threw a punch that collided releasing a shock wave across the entire field.
The two fighters exchanged blows at full speed, every time yang hit ayden, he hit her even harder and she did the same. the fight went on like this for a while.
RHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!
Yang hit Ayden who was protecting himself with his arm in front of him, causing him to step back.
Yang: "STOP IT!"
Ayden: "Hmmm?"
Yang: "I know you're not at full power so stop holding back and go all out!"
Ayden: "....."
Yang: "Don't you dare hold back against me!"
Ayden was silent for a moment while staring at her then let go of his fighting stance and put his arms to his sides as he clenched his fists.
the wind began to pick up, yang could feel the ground beneath her feet shaking and see stones beginning to levitate all around them.
HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
A red aura exploded around Ayden and enveloped his body, Yang was startled for a moment and then remembered seeing him do the same thing on the day of the initiation.
(Yang's thought): "So what he used against me in our first fight was not his Semblance! But then....what is his true Semblance?"
The ground was shaking harder and harder and started to crack, pieces broke off and started to levitate too. The aura around ayden continued to increase again and again and again.... his muscle was contracting like never before then in a final cry his aura exploded again releasing a wave of energy forcing yang to step back in front of such strength.
KAIOKEN X 10 !!!
The aura around Ayden had grown to a colossal size, Yang couldn't help but swallow her saliva in the face of such an outburst of power.
Ayden: "Here's what you wanted!" he said, waving his hand telling her to come closer.
Yang came to her senses and resumed her fighting pose.
Yang: "Now I can beat you to your full power!"
Ayden remained silent while watching her with the most serious look on his face.
Yang leaned down and rushed forward preparing her right fist with all the strength she had accumulated during the fight, she was determined to emerge victorious from this fight.
Ayden stood there watching her rush at full speed in his direction.
Yang: "YOUR GOING DOWN!!!!"
Yang hit Ayden with all her force, the shock of the impact echoing loudly in the field. When the sound of the blow disappeared in the air the only thing that remained was the look of sheer shock on yang's face when she saw ayden who hadn't moved an inch holding her fist in his hand as if it was nothing.
He clenched his fist with all his might and then punched yang in the abdomen causing her to spit all the air out of her lungs and shatter her aura. The force of the blow was such that the impact of the shock erupted from yang's back, tearing the ground behind her.
Yang's eyes turned white as she lost consciousness and fell heavily to the ground.
The aura around Ayden disappeared and he dropped to one knee, breathing heavily. It was the first time he had gone so far using the kaioken even though it lasted less than a minute he was completely exhausted. He could thank his training with the gravity equipment.
He got up to see yang lying on the ground unconscious then he looked up to see that the moon was already up in the sky. He hadn't seen the time spent with their fights. At that time there were no more bullheads available to return to beacon. He found himself in the middle of the fields like an idiot with an unconscious yang.
Ayden: "Haaaa..... fuck!"
