CHAPTER 1
(In the void)
Cal's Pov.
" Wake up young soul" a voice said.
" What is this?" "Where am I?" I asked
" You are in my dimension and as you know you are dead" I heard the voice of a man coming from all around me.
" I decided to reincarnate you out of boredom".
" Why is it so dark? Why can I only hear your voice?" I calmly asked the voice
" I am talking into your mind. You're in the void. I am about to create a new marvel universe and decided to reincarnate someone into it for some entertainment" The Lord Explains.
A minute later after calming down I reply with a "I understand". I mean what type of anime watching, manga and light novel reading man of culture would I be if I didn't have an idea of what was going on.
"Good, now you get seven wishes pick them wisely. Quick warning if you ask for some overpowered bullshit not only will I refuse but you'll also loose the chance to make another in its place" the voice said.
Obviously, I must think very carefully before I make any decisions. But before even thinking about what I should chouse I have to ask some very important questions.
"If I may"
"Go on" he said
"You said you were about to create a new marvel universe can you tell me if its any different from what I know"
He replied saying "it's a combination between the mcu(the movies),X-men(mutants) and the fantastic four"
"I see. Will I be keeping my memories"?
"It wouldn't be much fun if you didn't" he said
"Right and what about background and timeline" I asked.
"That's what the seventh wish is for. You must be a human but apart from that it's all good"
Haahahahahahaha!!! Laughing internally, I thought to myself.
'Man, I can become so fucking powerful, and its marvel too, hahaha power is pretty much everting there. Tho my wishes having been approved yet or anything, but I mean still, only an idiot could truly fuck this up.'
(30 minutes later)
Going over my wishes for the eleventh time just to make sure I got everything right I spoke as loud and clear as I could.
" For my first wish. I want a TRUE marvel weeb/nerd's knowledge about marvel. From the movies and series, they watched to comics and things they read on the internet and even fanfics they read online." Look don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of marvel but like most people I have only watched the movies and seen some videos on YouTube about it, that and the unreliable information from webnovel fanfics. So, I'll be an idiot to go in with what little I know when I can have so much more. Plus, whom better to get it from than someone that loves marvel to the core. (weeb/nerd)
"GRANTED. what is your second wish then?" I immediately heard.
"For my second wish I want a onetime use of the ability -What harms me makes me stronger-, with a thirty second delayed full revival, in case of death" its an ability owned by the protagonist of an anime that I watched. Its pretty much a rubdown version of doomsday's ability. If a harmful substance is injected into the body, it gets nullified, and the body gains all of the substance's positive properties. If you died, then you come back to life a small bit stronger. The delay that I added however is so that I could escape afterwards, not that I am planning on dying at all.
"GRANTED, next"
" Soul linked dimension. Accessible only to myself and those I allow."
"You're pushing it. I'll GRANT it but you will not own it. Taking it over and making it your own will be for you to handle yourself."
" Now what is your fourth wish?"
" Fourthly I want the mutant powers, teleportation like that of nightcrawler but without the sound and the smoke combined with the shapeshifting ability of mystic."
"Again, you're cutting it close. Firstly all your mutant abilities will be powered by your dimensions. So what you can do with them stem from how much energy your able to Chanel from the dimension. For the teleportation You must have been to the place or have seen it with your own eyes in other to teleport there. As for the shapeshifting you can only take a humanoids physical appearance. That too, only after you've seen or have had physical contact with them, and nothing more. For example, if you were to shapeshift into Logan you won't get his claws as well". He said before continuing.
Cal: 'okay that's fine'
"And if it were let's say tony stark. You won't get an increase in IQ." He finished.
Cal: 'damm he got me'
" Now what is your fifth wish?"
" I want to be hidden from certain beings and things. That means my blood cannot be cloned and cannot be examined to find powers in it. To be injected into the time stream as if I was always meant to be, tho I cannot be observed by beings lower than the multiversal rank (a ranks chapter will be uploaded soon) including those using universal tools such as the time stone." 'Anyone that wishes to be hidden from EVERYONE is just plain stupid for obvious reasons'.
"GRANTED"
"I want the powers of Rund Clark". He is another protagonist I know of. His power is mid-level telepathy and having an IQ of 270 by the age of 15. ( read Richards is at 267 btw)
and lastly for your final wish. You can make your....character, background and choose a timeline" he said. I stay there silently contemplating on how he said the word "CHARACTER". I think he left a loophole here for me and he hinted to it too. I must get the most I can out of this last wish. I'm pretty sure it's all about the background description.
"My appearance should be. Brown skin, curly hair with a nice fade. My eye colour should be black. Height 170 cm. Age 10." I pause taking in a deep breath before continuing.
" My personality should be. Capable of long-term planning to achieve my goals. Someone with a perfect eidetic memory but that is no stranger to hard work and can dedicate myself physical and mentally to my goals. Manipulative. I am ambidextrous, capable of using both right and left hand perfectly. Father was a very successful actor and so I was made to study acting from a very young age. And lastly, I am very talented at everything I do" I said
" hahahahahah, I knew I chose the right person hahahaha. Good good And now for your background"
"I live with my mother who gave birth at an old age she will be 50 when I get there, she loves me as her son. Father died of cancer two days after I turned 10, since he was very successful, he left quite the sum behind for us. None the less mother had always been ambitious which made her want to be financially stable. She worked at a bank which offered a generous salary. Ever since father died tho she hadn't been to work. She is absolutely devastated. We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 ½bathroom house with a basement. With uncaring neighbors who minded their own business. We have no remaining family members"
"Good and the timeline?" he asked
"Exactly five years and one month before Steve Roger is injected with the serum"
"Alright that's that then off you go. Just make sure you don't disappoint me"
After that everything just turned black.
