Chapter 15: [14] ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT AND, MARIANA!!!
In a small room a youth was sleeping quietly.
The night was dark and the winds were chilly, two shadows were outside of the youth's window discussing something.
Their faces were not visible because of the black cloth that was covering their faces, they looked like assassins wearing total black clothes.
They looked towards the youth who was asleep a trace of killing intent started to leak out of one of them.
Seeing this the other assassin smacked the previous assassin on the head while scolding him, "What are you doing idiot, we are here to assassinate you can't just show the killing intent like this what if someone become's alert."
The assassin who had just released his killing intent quickly hid away his aura as he said, "Sorry I am still new to this business I forgot but don't worry it's just a mortal and we are celestials do you really think that the boy could detect us."
The other assassins just shook his head and then turned his attention towards the room where the youth was sleeping just now, but to his surprise the youth was nowhere to be seen.
He became alert but soon a chilling voice came from his behind, "Tch, what a shame you will die because of someone else's mistake."
Both of the assassins looked behind alarmed and one of them shouted, "Ajax!"
The youth was obviously Ajax.
The smile on Ajax's face grew wider as he said, "Oh! so it seems like you both were really targeting me, hah, come on I just wanted to take a rest today but oh well if you both insist I do not mind killing you both."
The assassin who just gave lecture to the assassin who leaked out the killing intent said, "See, 666 I said you not to leak the killing intent now we may have to do some more work." The assassin who's code name was 666 looked a bit ashamed but still said, "Don't worry big brother 069 I will surly take this as my own responsibility and finish him myself, you please rest for a while."
The assassin 069 just nodded and calmly sat down fully relaxed.
The assassin 666 then took out a dagger from his own pocket and said, "Boy don't struggle you are just a mortal just lay down quietly and let me kill you I promise that I will be merciful and finish you in one slash."
Ajax looked at the assassin 666 as if he were looking at an idiot, why would someone just lay down and wait to be butchered, so he sighed and said, "Don't worry about me just focus on yourself or else you won't know how you died."
The assassin 666 laughed out loud and said, "Boy you are just a mortal do you really think that you can kill a celestial."
"No, I can't." Ajax was obviously not so stupid as to directly collide head on with a celestial because he knew that it will only mean death for him, if it was so easy to kill a celestial with the power of a Rank 6 (Sovereign) mortal, how would celestials be able to rule on the mortals, even a rank 9 (Nirvana) mortal can not damage the hair of a rank 1 celestial.
After hearing what Ajax has said assassin 666 again laughed out loud and said, "So you know that you are going to die, then why are you not listening to me and dying quietly. Is this your last struggle."
The assassin 069 could not tolerate any longer and said, "Will you be quiet or do you plan to alert the whole house with your loud laughs just finish with it already."
It seemed as though the assassin 666 was afraid of the assassin 069 so he hurriedly replied, "Don't worry big brother I will surly do my work."
Then the assassin 666 turned his attention towards Ajax and said, "Any last words before dying mortal."
Ajax who was still as calm as before said, "Yes...."
"I can't kill you, but...they can."
When the assassin 666 heared this he felt confused but this state did not last long because he was already dead.
On the other hand the assassin 069 who was sitting calmly under a tree also felt confused as to how his partner had died just now.
But this state did not last long because he saw that Ajax was coming closer to him, and he saw that Ajax still had the exact same smile on his face from the beginning till now.
Soon confusion turned into fear, the fear of the unknown.
He gathered up his courage and held the dagger tightly in his hands ready to stab the young monster in front of him at any moment.
Ajax also released a little bit of killing intent to give pressure to the assassin 069 as he said, "Do you want to live longer or die right now."
The assassin 069 said in a trembling voice, "Wha... what do you want."
The smile on Ajax's face grew wider as he said, "Not bad, you actually know how to handle things then let's cut to the chase, who wants my life, you tell me the name and you live, you lie you die."
Assassin 069 who was still trembling said, "I don't know who wants your life, I am just an assassin at the lower rank, my work is just to accept missions."
Ajax thought for a moment and said, "Alright I believe in your words, but because you didn't answer my question you will still have to die."
The assassin 069 really didn't want to die so he shouted, "Wait wait wait, I can't tell you the name of the costumer but I can tell you the name of our organization."
Ajax looked at the desperate man in front of him and a sadistic smile appeared on his face as he said, "Alright I promise I will not kill you if you tell me the name of the organization you come from."
The assassin 069 instantly became happy and said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you, I come from the organization named Blood Lotus cult."
Ajax nodded and said, "Alright bye, say hi to your partner."
The assassin 069 became confused but like the first assassin 666 he also died the next moment.
Ajax stoped for some time and said, "I said you live for the first question only, for the second question I said I won't kill you, and I did as I promised I didn't kill you it was someone else."
"Clean this mess up, I am going to sleep." Ajax ordered and left for his bedroom.
But before going to sleep once more he smiled and thought, "I will have to thank that old man, if he didn't give me two of his Celestial rank believers I would have really died."
And after some time Ajax finally fell asleep.
But things did not went well with the system.
[[Blood Lotus Cult, huh, they dared to try to assassinate my dear I will destroy them in the future and as for that bi*ch Mariana who posted the assassination request I will also destroy you in the future.]]
Obviously the system had already hacked the entire data base of the God's plain so she knew who had posted the assassination request.

Note:- Guys we are very close to making Ajax a God, so tell me what error should I use, you can say anything if I like it I will use it, my idea looks a bit cliché you know.
Error example....The rewards 10x, or everyday a new reward like sign in.
And the actual use of system is a mystery.
