Chapter 86: A Zebra & Its Stripes

Igris closed the gap between them with two long strides, wrapping an arm around Dave's waist while the other moved to cup his cheek.

Before Dave could react, the redhead was kissing him with a passion and fervor he couldn't deny.

"Wait!". Dave shoved their faces apart before scanning around to see if anyone had noticed the kiss just now. The only other people in the hallway were too far away and they all seemed to be looking at a painting.

He sighed in relief before looking back at Igris to whisper. "What...what are you doing here?".

"What do you mean? I came with my brother". Igris almost laughed before letting go of the human to allow him to stand on both feet.

Dave rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he'd never expected the man before him to be from one of the top families in Fredo. In fact, he'd tried severally to convince himself it had all been part of his imagination.
