Chapter 10: 8 . Senju Tobirama's Funeral
For the civilians of the shinobi world, this may be the day the flames of war have ended but for the citizens of Konoha, this is a sad and tragic day.
There was no trace of sunlight in the dark sky and a horrible cloud of depression, the pitter patter of rain could be heard.
Today a Legend of an era will cease to exist.
All the citizens of Konoha were wearing black mourning clothes, and the shinobi removed their forehead protectors. All of them held their hands together in silence.
Everyone had lost their former vigour and all other eyes were red.
The Iron law of shinobi: A shinobi must never reveal his emotions at any time.
These words were imparted to them by Tobirama.
Everyone stared at the coffin placed in Konoha square with sadness, letting the rain fall on their faces and trickling down their cheeks. Some closed their eyes tightly while biting their lips not wanting to show their dear departed Hokage their shameful appearance.
Everyone was devastated, even the Uchiha clan had complex emotions because Tobirama had not treated them badly and they were allowed to set up the Konoha Police force.
To them, Tobirama was both an opponent and a companion so they couldn't feel any joy in their hearts.
Tsunade was crying her heart out and was struggling to get closer to the coffin, but after exhausting herself, she fell asleep.
" Mito-sama, allow me to hold her " Danzo could see that Mito was very tired and wanted to allow her to take some rest.
"Well, Thank you, Danzo" Mito did not refuse and handed over Tsunade in her arms to Danzo.
In the front row, only a few people were present, all of them were Tobirama's closest aides or family.
Uzumaki Mito, Senju Tsunade, Shimura Danzo, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Utatane Koharu, Mitokado Homura, Uchiha Kagami.
After that all of the higher-ups in Konoha leadership Clan leaders and The Senju clan.
" Close it " After everyone finished praying for Tobirama in their hearts, Danzo felt it was time, so he whispered to Homura who was beside him.
*Click*....push....
Tobirama's coffin was closed bringing an end to the funeral.
....
*Boom*
Thunder was crackling in the skies, and Tobirama was buried under the weeping eyes of the people. Buried next to the God of Shinobi himself.
* Step.....Step*
Danzo was the first to step forward holding a white chrysanthemum in his hands and placing it in front of Tobirama's tombstone.
Looking at Tobirama's portrait, Danzo fell into contemplation for a while. Nobody dared to urge Danzo because they all knew he was the successor appointed by Tobirama.
He is already the Third Hokage even without the coronation ceremony.
After some time Danzo stepped back to allow the rest of the people to pay their respects.
One by one everyone came forward and placed the Chrysanthemum in their hands on the tombstone and bowed deeply showcasing their deepest admiration.

Soon the funeral was over. The people left one by one with sad and painful expressions on their faces.
Many people still stood there staring at his portrait, they couldn't accept the fact that their beloved Hokage is no more. This itself shows Tobirama's reputation among the citizens of Konoha.
He could have escaped but instead, he choose to protect and pave way for the future seedlings of Konoha.

It is due to him a tumour-like Danzo was formed and caused problems in the future. If Tobirama wasn't such a dick Madara would have never betrayed Konoha. This shows Tobirama's will of fire.
But the legend had fallen and a new heir to the will of fire was chosen.
But this time Tobirama had not chosen the wrong person as he chose Danzo who was the best candidate.

{A.N: it's gonna be tiring if he kisses Tobirama's ass every single chapter because I hate the dude, he was a paranoid mother fucker. Who did you think Danzo inherited it from, yep you guessed it, Danzo was a Tobirama fanboy in the Og. I believe if Madara was the 2nd Hokage Konoha would have been much stronger. Just think about it Gold and Silver brothers can't do shit against the guy. He will just clap them like a bunch of noobs. And don't start ranting about Tobirama's reforms, cuz he can still do that without being the Hokage. He can suggest those things to the acting Hokage, AKA Madara and he could put them into practice. So this is why I hate this novel cuz the author seems like a dumb Tobirama fanboy who worships him every chapter. You guys don't even know how many sentences I omitted which contained the same shit about how great Tobirama was and Mito grieving about his death, which makes no sense. Why the hell would Mito break down about Tobirama's death? To my knowledge, she didn't even do that when her Husband died, Yea she was very sad when Hashirama died but she didn't become an emotional wreck. But this is like she and Tobirama are husband and wife kinda, cuz she drops to the ground due to sadness. All in all its novel is a pr execution and very shitty in my opinion. }
