Chapter 41: Husband.

The next morning she woke up to see herself on the bed. She was surprised at how she got there cause she remember she was in the bathroom so how did she get there?.

There is only one person who would bring her here.

"Oh Lord, does it mean he saw my naked body?." She looked under the blanket to check if he touched her but he didn't.

She sighed in relief as she saw that she was properly covered. Lorcan could be such a gentleman, he carried her out of the pool and dressed her, still she didn't notice any movements on her body? Was he that gentle?.

The door flew open and she saw Lorcan walked into the room.

"Good Morning Your Highness." She greeted then he stopped walking for a moment.

"Good Morning Reina." He replied and went into the other room.

She knew he was still angry with her so she was careful not to ask him any question that would make things worse.

She walked to him immediately he came out of the room.

"Are you still angry with me?."

"No." He replied.

"You are not talking to me." She felt like crying.

"I've got lots of things on my mind Reina, let's talk once I'm back." Before he could move she came in his way.

"What are you doing?." He asked just then a knock interrupted their conversation.

"Who's there?." Lorcan asked.

"I'm sorry for disturbing Your Highness but it's urgent I speak to you." A voice said from outside.

"One minute." He said to Reina and left to meet with Matthew.

"One again I'm sorry for disturbing Your Highness." He bowed.

"That's okay, any news about him?." He asked.

"Yes, we've heard he's left Agrah Kingdom, some villagers said they saw him leaving with one of his most trusted men and he's also the brother to the guard that kidnapped Her Highness."

"I love this I'm hearing Matthew, it's good to know he's far away from this kingdom for now. Have you found out the hut that the scumbag stays?." He asked.

"We were making findings before the news of His Highness Prince Theodore came in, I thought I should share it with you, Your Highness." He bowed.

"You can go continue with your search, I was busy with My Wife." He walked back to the room with his arms at his back as always.

"I'm sorry Husband." She threw herself at him as he stood in shock not believing what he just heard. This was the first time she called him that.

"Husband?." He grinned and she nodded.

"You call me Wife, so I should call you husband Your Highness." She looked up at him.

"Come here." He hugged and kissed her head.

"I'm sorry I spoke to you the way I did, I just didn't know how to deal with everything , Theodore is no where to be found and it bothers me cause you're not safe as long as he's away."

"I'm safe as long as I've got you."

Hearing her say that his heart exploded, he felt like just making her his mate now, but he had important issues to deal with.

"Why are you suddenly being romantic Wife?." He asked.

"Cause you once said I'm not, so I've made findings and I'm trying to be a better Wife."

She smiled as she looked into his captivating eyes and for a second she was lost in them.

Her heart started racing as she got really close to his chest, his arm was around her waist and he drew her more close like she wasn't close enough.

"I don't ever want you to leave my side and I don't ever want you to get angry with me cause I don't like it when you're angry. I don't like it when you don't talk to me." Tears rolled down her cheek as she struggled to speak.

"No matter how angry I am with you I would never stop caring about you Wife and that's a promise." He wiped the tears of her face with his thumb then his eyes traveled down to her lips as he brushed her lower lip with his finger.

"Why looking at me that way? Don't you want me to kiss you Wife." He whispered in her ears. She blinked numerous times as she didn't know how to maintain eye contacts with him for that long, the way he stared at her made her had goosebumps and she didn't just understand why she felt that way each time they are this close.

"No..i.I.."

"Shhhhhhh.." he placed his forefinger on her lips stopping her from speaking.

She closed her eyes and slightly parted her lips and then it came, his soft lips were on hers and it brushed against hers.

The kiss was slow, all she thought about was what was going on right now and nothing else. Lorcan always had his way of making her head go numb each time he touched her.

At a point she felt like she struggled to reach to his lips and then he carried her with her legs around his waist making it easy for her.

He carefully lay her on the bed with their lips glued together. Reina was scared, she didn't know how the first time was.

Having Lorcan see her naked body and also the feeling of having him inside of her just made her heart race even more.

She felt breathless as she stared at her loving husband looking down at her. Her face was red and her lips was softened from the long kiss.

She didn't like the way he looked at her, couldn't he just have her already? She had thought about this for a while and now she wants it, she wants him inside of her so why was he still taking things slow?, doesn't he want her anymore?? Or is he just doing this not to scare her??

"Tell me, do you want us to go on or are you scared?."
