Chapter 18: Fallen angels
Xie Qing was returning to his house after the meeting.
Ah, but that very home was not his villa in the Mortal World, but in Heaven.
He needed to stay here for several months, for now he was helping to organize the troops and building his regiment himself.
He approached the mansion, which was built in a modern style. Around the mansion were gates guarded by angels.
On seeing Xie Qing, the angels stood at attention and greeted him with a military salute.
"Thanks for your work, guys." He smiled and walked through the gate. The doors closed and the angels returned to their place.
Xie Qing walked through a lush garden with all kinds of flowers and plants. The garden was well-kept and looked very beautiful.
Suddenly Xie Qing felt a small rocket fly in his direction and he turned around with his arms open.
"Husband!"
The rocket, that is, Aria, landed in his arms and gave him a long, deep kiss.
Xie Qing stroked her back and smiled. Aria buried herself embarrassedly in his embrace.
"Did you miss me?" Xie Qing smiled and kissed the top of her head.
"Mm." Aria nodded and rubbed herself against Xie Qing like a kitten. "You've been so busy these past few days..."
Xie Qing fell silent and grinned bitterly. After waking up, he was either training or mobilizing troops.
And he had limited time to spend with Aria. However, as much as he wanted to, it was impossible in the current situation.
"I'm sorry... I will be even busier as of today, as there has been some unpleasantness." Xie Qing sighed sorrowfully and stroked Aria's hair.
"Don't worry about it, husband." Aria smiled brightly and kissed him. "In any case, I will always support you."
Xie Qing smiled and suddenly lifted her up like a princess, causing Aria to scream. There was mischief and anticipation in her cry, however.
It had been a long night.

Xie Qing woke up in the morning. He turned his head and saw Aria sleeping on his chest.
He smiled and stroked her blond hair, making Aria wince.
The girl's eyelashes fluttered, but she didn't open her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Xie Qing smirked.
Suddenly he grabbed her buttocks and slapped them, causing her to make a distinctive sound.
"Kya!" Aria cried out and looked at Xie Qing with a displeased look.
"Good morning, princess." Xie Qing smirked. He pulled her to him and kissed her deeply.
Aria tried to resist, but she soon gave in. Her arms wrapped around Xie Qing's neck, and her lush body clung tightly to his little brother.
Sensing this, Xie Qing smirked and ran his hands through Aria's hair and threw her over the bed, standing on top of her.
"Time to punish the naughty child."

Two hours passed and Xie Qing was sitting in the living room with Aria sitting next to him, resting her head on his shoulder.
Today was the day that Xie Qing would meet his father-in-law and mother-in-law for the first time. He was a little excited.
Aria, sensing his emotions, smiled happily and rubbed her head against his. The atmosphere was so sweet that the average person could get diabetes.
Soon the doorbell rang and Xie Qing went to open it.
When he opened the door, Xie Qing saw two angels. They had snow-white wings and facial features similar to Aria.
Aria's father was a handsome middle-aged man with blond hair and blue eyes.
As for Aria's mother, she looked like a mature replica of Aria. They smiled when they saw Xie Qing.
"Ara-ara, what a handsome young man. Our Aria is very lucky." Aria's mother smiled and nodded politely.
"Indeed." Aria's father, Vinson, also smiled.
Xie Qing bowed and called them inside. Soon they reached the living room, but Aria was not there.
However, Xie Qing saw with his senses that she was in the kitchen making tea. He sat down on the couch, as did Aria's parents.
"It's nice to finally meet you. I am Xie Qing."
"My name is Maria Sel, and this is my husband, Vinson Sel." Aria's mother, Maria smiled.
Xie Qing smiled, too, and they began chatting about various topics. Mostly it was about how they met.
By then, Aria came in with tea and began to pour alternately fragrant tea. By the way, her Xie Qing got it from the store.
It was cheap, about 50 points, but it was very fragrant and delicious. Plus the tea could help relax and relieve pain.
Vinson praised this tea for a long time and Xie Qing found out that he was an ardent tea fan. After deciding on something, Xie Qing opened a store.
There were many sections, from drinks to artifacts. However, Xie Qing wasn't interested in that yet.
He found the most expensive tea he could find: for 1308 points.

His father-in-law raised an eyebrow in surprise and looked at the box. He opened it and a fragrant smell spread throughout the house.
Maria was the most excited. After all, even angels grow old if they don't improve.
Besides, it's hard to control one's appearance before S level, so every woman under S level would want such a product.
"Geez, thank you so much." Maria smiled and looked at Aria. "It looks like my daughter is very lucky to have a husband."
Aria blushed and looked away, which made everyone laugh. Soon dinner began and Xie Qing spent his time smiling.
It was nice and warm, something he missed so much. However, Xie Qing understood that without strength he could not protect his kin

In the dark space, where light could not reach. Footsteps were heard.
The darkness made it hard to tell who they were and what they wanted, but from a distance they looked like angels.
But they had black wings and sharp horns sticking out of their foreheads.
Fallen angels.
Once upon a time, a group of angels descended into the human world. They experienced the joy of women and carnal pleasures.
Then they were seduced by Satan, making the angels his subordinates. Since that day a race of Fallen Angels was born.
They had the power of angels and demons, so they made those around them afraid.
But in the Ancient War, they were exterminated. Or so others thought.
The fallen angels paced the room excitedly, filling it with the sound of footsteps. The place was lively.
In the center of the room stood flasks in which gold-colored translucent souls glowed.
If someone very old saw these souls, they would clearly be stunned. After all, these souls were Gods.
It was more of a fragment than a full soul, though. This fragment had no "I" of God, only its laws and abilities.
There were five souls in number, but only two of them had a bright appearance. The others were dim.
The fallen angels suddenly approached the second flask and began reciting an incantation in the Ancient tongue.
Soon the soul shook and threads began to emerge from it, which soon began to turn into a human silhouette.
Little by little the silhouette began to take on a human-like appearance. His facial features became beautiful, and his blond hair fell across his powerful chest.
He had a mirrored shield in his hands and winged sandals on his feet.
It was as if the world froze, and the Fallen Angels began to watch excitedly as the handsome man awakened.
Suddenly he opened his eyes and looked at the Fallen Angels.
"Did you resurrect me?"
