Chapter 21: The Queen of the Elves
Hercules took a breath and looked at Lucifer, nodding in gratitude. The demon, however, paid no attention.
Instead, he smiled wryly and waved to Alfred and the First Seraphim.
"Yo, guys. How are you doing? Did you like my gift?"
The gift, naturally, was the killing of the Fourth Seraphim and the cursing of Xie Qing. And, of course, his words provoked a violent reaction.
"LU-CI-FER!" The First Seraphim uttered his name through his teeth while the space around him warped.
"Hehe." Lucifer chuckled in response and looked at Xie Qing. Suddenly his smile turned into a smirk.
"And you, little one? I hope you liked the gift. Really, I'm surprised you're alive."
Xie Qing looked at him indifferently, but inside he was burning with rage. However, Aria was still here.
He stood in front of her and squinted his eyes at Lucifer. The atmosphere instantly heated up.
But, suddenly, it was shattered by the culprit himself.
"All right, guys. I've got stuff to do, so I'll see you around." Lucifer waved his hand and the smoke enveloped him.
No one followed him, however, for it was useless. After all, there was only a clone of him here all along.
But even so, the clone was able to withstand the blow of the First Seraphim. And that's serious.
Xie Qing frowned and looked at Aria, who happened to be looking at him too.
"Are you okay?" Xie Qing anxiously examined her body and sighed in relief when he saw no wounds.
Still, even the First Seraphim wasn't sure about confronting Lucifer, so Se Qing was always tense.
However, this encounter left him with a bitter feeling of weakness and Xie Qing felt hungry.
After improving his Devouring ability, he sometimes felt an inexplicable hunger that seemed to drive him insane.
However, every time he devoured souls, he calmed down.
Could that tell you anything? Xie Qing didn't know. But he did know one thing.
It was vital to reach the S Level and absorb a copy of Pandora's Box.
And first he needed to figure out the System.

Two days have passed since that battle, if you can't call it that.
Heaven, the House of Xie Qing.
Xie Qing sat in a comfortable chair and read articles on the Internet. Murder and earthquakes have increased in the human world.
A normal person would not have connected the two events, but Xie Qing narrowed his eyes and became instantly alert.
In the last few times of his visit to the Mortal World, he had found many groups of demons that were taking over people.
Some time ago he even went with his team and exterminated most of the demons.
But there were more of them! Naturally, Xie Qing would never believe that this was caused by negative energy.
After all, angels have been interacting with mortals more often lately, so there is less negative energy.
Plus on the basis of the angel formation Xie Qing created his own - the Eater Formation.
He gave the formation the properties 'Devouring' and if it would be impossible to absorb the energy, 'Annihilation'. Plus there was a "Creation" property in case the formation was suddenly affected.
Xie Qing proudly raised his head as he remembered that he hadn't invested in intelligence for nothing. Speaking of statistics...

If you think about it, only dexterity and Soul Power matched his real level, and everything else was higher.
And magic power and magical energy were as much as S-level! In addition, most of the characteristics were at A level, which is obviously abnormal.
However, Xie Qing wasn't surprised, because he could always boost his characteristics with Devouring.
The most important thing here was Magic Energy and Soul Power.
Magical Energy allows you to use magic and spells, plus it maintains the existence of the Supernatural being.
The Soul Power is even more important, as it is responsible for protecting your own self and could protect your core from enemy attack.
However, it cannot be improved with a mere Devouring. You need special items and resources, which are very limited.
One of those resources is the Fruit of the World Tree. And it is found in the territory of the elves.
So Xie Qing plans to go to a space called Elf World. (A/N: If there's a lot of interest, I'll do a separate chapter explaining the Supernatural world and all the spaces.)
It is said that this space has the most life energy. Therefore, one stay there can increase the life of an ordinary person by forty years and prolong youth.
However, he can only do this with the permission of the Elf Queen. And right now Xie Qing is having a dialogue with her.
In Xie Qing's garden, not far from the garden, there were two chairs and a table in the middle. Behind one chair sat Xie Qing, and behind the other was a golden mirror.
In the mirror was the familiar figure of a beautiful woman, or more accurately, an elven woman with a mature body.
"So you say you want to enter the Elven World with your wife?" The Elf Queen asked curiously and smiled.
"Yes. I thought she might need some time to rest. Besides, I'm going to research my first law." Xie Qing nodded gravely, not yet revealing his intentions.
"Oh-ho? The law, yes... I suppose that's a really good reason." The queen smiled sweetly and her ears twitched.
"But I have conditions."
"Of course. What kind of conditions?" Xie Qing nodded.
The Queen's ears twitched slightly, either up or down. Xie Qing felt a strong urge to touch them, but quickly suppressed it.
"Sure. What are the terms?" Xie Qing nodded.

After a few seconds, the Queen's ears stopped twitching and she smiled sweetly.
"How about you spending some time with this old lady?"
"...If you don't mind my wife's company, no problem." Xie Qing said in a neutral voice when he suddenly felt a look on his back. But he didn't turn around so as not to give himself away.
"Yes? And if I very ask?" The queen chuckled sweetly and looked at Xie Qing with a seductive look.
"If you don't mind my wife's company." Xie Qing replied in an indifferent tone, this time more convincingly.
The queen was surprised, but then her ears twitched faintly and she smiled.
"Good, then I shall be glad to meet you."
Xie Qing sensed some change in her tone, but did not pay attention. He only thanked the Queen and looked at the angel behind him.
There stood Aria with a gentle smile, and she immediately came running to Xie Qing when he finished speaking.
"Husband!"
Her sweet and gentle voice sounded like the sweetest music. And Xie Qing was ready to listen to that music for a lifetime.
