Chapter 28: Little girl
It had been two days since the elves had survived such a terrible incident. Though most of the affected families could not accept it, other elves began to calm down.
Maybe it was because of their life experience of more than a hundred years, maybe because of something else, but pretty soon things calmed down.
Still, Xie Qing did not pay much attention to the mood of the elves. He was now in the library and meditating.
Magical swirls surrounded his body, and black smoke with purple particles enveloped Xie Qing's arm.

Suddenly there was a surge of energy, but Xie Qing successfully blocked it.
After five minutes, his magical energy calmed down and he looked stronger than before. This was caused by his breakthrough.

The library was not far from the royal garden, so they walked right out into the lush alley.
Beautiful flowers and a nice soothing smell. It allowed Xie Qing to relax.
He walked forward and muttered without turning around: "How are you doing with Aria?"
"We became friends! She has a very nice personality." Melissa laughed and replied cheerfully.
Who would have thought that such a cold beauty would laugh so merrily? Lucifer would have vomited blood.
"I see."
The expression on Xie Qing's face could not be seen by Melissa, but she felt his magical energy sway slightly in excitement.
"Hehe, are you happy for us?" Melissa smiled and poked at Xie Qing's back.
He turned and pulled her to him, "Of course I am. I'm pretty inexperienced, so I'm a little worried."
In his embrace, Melissa began to wriggle sexually, touching some of Xie Qing's parts.
Seeing this behavior, he only grinned. At the thought of the formerly cold girl who had caused the death of the gods wriggling in his arms...
For some reason, Xie Qing felt his self-esteem burst through the levels and reached the Z+ level.
Too bad the Self-Esteem characteristic doesn't count by System.
Monsters with black skin began to appear in different parts of the world. Even in the Mortal World.
Those who were killed were dragged along with them. It didn't matter if it was a demon, a human, an elf, or an angel.
No one was spared.
It was a bit like the zombie apocalypse, but on a bigger scale. After all, there were other Supernatural beings in the role of "zombies," and their power was terrifying.

Quick and quiet footsteps sounded down the narrow alley.
A girl of eight covered herself with a hood and ran as if she were being chased. Basically, that's what it turned out to be.
"Gra-ah!"
A low growl and the sound of loud footsteps followed behind the girl. From the girl's back came monsters with black skin.
They looked human-like, but they had sharp horns on their foreheads and blisters and spikes all over their bodies.
The girl felt her heart skip a beat! She ran even faster, but...
Boom!
"Ouch!"
The girl slipped and fell into a puddle. Her fear triggered a thick negative energy, which only provoked the monsters more.
"Ghaa!"
The monsters approached her with a disgusted growl. With a wave of his clawed hand, the werewolf-like monster grinned maliciously.
The claws were an inch away from striking, but suddenly there was a clang!
"Ghia?!"
The monster stared piercingly at the one who had interrupted the fun and suddenly froze
"You're pretty good, you son of a bitch."
A handsome man with a sturdy build and a tall stature stared piercingly at the monster.
He had black smoke armor, with occasional slashes of horror on his face.
In his hands was a long and heavy sword that was engulfed in hellish black flames.
The magical energy behind him seemed to evaporate, and those left behind fled in fear.
With a swipe of his blade, three of the five monsters were killed. Their heads were tossed in the air, and black blood stained the alley's stanzas.
Those left alive screamed pitifully and began to flee, but soon their bodies were neatly sliced in half, as if on a cutting board.
The handsome man waved his hand and the smoke swallowed up the monsters' bodies along with the blood. Soon the alley was cleared.
The handsome man was Xie Qing, who had decided to return to the Mortal World on personal business.
But on the way, he encountered some bugs that smelled like a garbage dump.
However, he didn't expect to encounter the result of the Fallen Angels' experiments here. So he decided to destroy them beforehand.
The monsters had no soul and their bodies were full of rot. So Xie Qing didn't even digest them and just burned them.
"But it looks like I made it in time."
His gaze stopped on the girl, who was curled up in a fetal position and whispering something under her nose.
Now Xie Qing's mission was to somehow deal with the situation.
