"But being the damsel in distress isn't my style," he said, pulling apart the ropes securing his hand.

Little Eve stared at him in amazement, not expecting him to have skills. He gave her a proud grin and winked at her.

After that, he moved on the ropes around his legs and got them easily undone. Evelyn looked at him eagerly, waiting for him to free her.

However, to upset her mood, he questioned, "What's the magical word?"

Her expression fell apart at it, seeing how he was playing with her, and creases appeared between both of her eyebrows. She glared at him.

He shrugged his shoulders and pretended to get up. He then said, "Then, I will leave you here and get out on my own. Those men will cut you up and boil you in a pot. After cooking you, they—"

"Please, Aaron, please untie the ropes around me. It hurts," she stated pleadingly, blinking her doe eyes at him.
