Chapter 31: BURNING EMOTIONS
Doorbell rang
Mrs Jasmine opened the door and greeted both of them.
come and sit in the front room. she said
thank you, aunt. Ava said
I made coffee for both of you. Ava told me that you take it without sugar. Sorry Mr Leonardo I would be there but it's necessary. I will go now. It's good for you as you will heal soon. I am going next door. my friend needed me she want the knitting design I made last month. Mrs Jasmine said.

Leonardo looked at Ava. He thought about how Ava was getting interested in his choices and characteristics. Ava went into the room upstairs and collected her stuff in a storage box.
Let me pick it up. You can't carry this. Leonardo raised his hands to pick up the box.
No, stop. Don't do it. It will hurt you. I can manage. Ava waved her hand
Don't bother. It is not heavy. Leonardo said.
Okay. Come downstairs then. Let's eat some. Then we will go. Ava said
Leonardo took the storage box and came down. A photo Album slipped from there. He put a storage box on the table and opened the album.

He opened it and started reading the paper

Ava was keenly listening to what he was going to say then jerked with shock. After eating. Ava cleaned the kitchen and took stuff with Leonardo. They put it in the trunk of the car and went to the mansion.

I wish I could do something for you. I wish to put something in place that you lost. Ava tried to hold his hand to stop him which Leonardo noticed at the exact moment.
We don't just lose materialistic things. Those things that screwed up aren't just photos. You may be don't know but the lost things had been found again. The ruined had fixed themselves. Ava hugged the frame and laid on the bed. She felt that she was so relaxed more than ever.

I am going to wake up Lucas. Enjoy your meal. Ava said and went out leaving Leonardo in her beauty's thoughts.
The meeting started after an hour. Leonardo saw Ava dragging a trolley of tea and bakery stuff to the meeting room. Leonardo wondered why was she doing so. Ava put a cup of coffee and a biscuit plate in front of Leonardo.
Why? Leonardo whispered.
Other servants are not available except Mrs Rosa. Ava replied. She didn't let him know that Emma asked her to prepare tea stuff for the meeting. Emma smiled at Ava's service. She wanted to show Ava as a servant of the mansion to the meeting delegation.
Can I have water, please? A man asked
Yes. Ava said and took a bottle from the trolley and gave him.
This is so cold. I need normal-temperature water. Man said. Leonardo's mood swung, as he couldn't bear Ava's insult. He stood up. Emma started wondering. Frank was known for Leonardo's behaviour. Leonardo took a bottle from the trolley and but in front of the man.
Check if is it okay as you wanted. Leonardo asked the man.

Water? Leonardo asked

Ava felt comfortable. She thought to forget what Emma said. During the meeting, Leonardo was not satisfying himself to sign the contract as the supplier was not answering him. Meanwhile, Ava came back to the meeting room with lunch. She started serving everyone dishes and a glass of water. Meanwhile, Leonardo asked her to give an opinion about the project. Ava got shied first. Leonardo motivated her. She gave her opinion which was actually what he needed an answer to. After Ava's opinion, Leonardo agreed to sign the contract on her given points. The sky got dark. Leonardo came to Ava's room.
Your idea was very good. Thanks to you the project has an advertising concept. Leonardo said
I hope I was not disrespectful to those who were in the meeting. Still, they were polite but on another side I … Ava said as Leonardo interrupted
Don't underestimate yourself. They see the project as their job. That's why they skip the most important part, the feeling. You changed their perspective. I went to spend time with Leonardo with an excuse. He was in that snake's room. I ask him to come to the study.
