They had barely known each other for him to feel these deep feelings about her.

However, there was a possibility and he could not deny it. 

At the very least, the recent closeness to Raven could spell it out for him. Plus, the extra grumpiness with his dragon and his overprotective stance.

Still, he had a strong feeling about it.

He always saw a resemblance in her and perhaps that was what was happening now. Conceivably Raven did something to trigger a memory and his pain was unleashed once more.

Furthermore, it did little to help that she was putting on his late wife's clothes.

Without waiting for an invitation, Zeno moved, ignoring whatever consequences may follow his rude interruption.

The longer Xavier laid eyes on Raven, the deeper the pain he felt would sink in deep and resonate with Avi.
