Chapter 2: ##Chapter 2 Not Worthy
As Renata spoke, she walked to the computer.
She then plugged in the flash drive and clicked on a file.
The computer was used for playing music for the hall, so it was connected to the projector as well.
When Renata opened the file, the content jumped up on the large screen.
"Paternity test?"
The guests were shocked and started grumbling after they saw the file on the large screen.
Sharon thought it was just a prank, but when she heard the discussions, she also turned to look at the screen.
"What?"
She was stupefied as she saw it.
She blinked her eyes and looked at it once again. The words on the last sheet of the report were as follows, "Sharon Evans is not the biological daughter of Marvin Evans."
That was impossible!
She had been Marvin's beloved daughter since she was born.
But now the report showed that she was not Marvin's biological daughter!
How could it be?
She wasn't the only one shocked. The entire hall gradually went silent.
"Renata, what's this all about?"
Marvin strode to Renata and pulled her up by the collar.
"Dad, please open your eyes," Sharon clicked on the last sheet of the report and sneered, "I'm trying to show you the truth, in case you'll be cheated by an outsider. I got a message several days ago that Sharon is not your daughter, but a bastard of her mother and an unknown man. I was also shocked when I heard it, so I took your hair and her hair for a paternity test. Look what we've got. Do you still think a bastard is still worthy of so many shares of your company?"
"Nonsense! This doesn't make any sense! My mother wouldn't do something like that. You can't slander her!"
Sharon couldn't accept the result. She was no longer graceful, but crazily rushed to Renata and wanted to snatch the mouse.
Renata's mother, Joyce, took the chance to get on stage.
When she saw Sharon pouncing at Renata, she pulled her aside and pretended to persuade Sharon, "Sharon, my girl, don't be impulsive. Let your sister finish it. Perhaps it's just a misunderstanding. Be patient. Maybe the result is not real."
"Sharon, let her finish! I wanna know what shocking news she can expose today!" Marvin pointed at Renata and shouted, but his tone sounded nervous.
"Good," Renata snorted and clicked on the file again.
"Now that we have seen the report, which is enough to prove that Sharon is not even a daughter of my father. Perhaps you still can't believe it, so there are also some photos of Irene Evans dating others. You'll know how trashy she truly was."
Then, loads of photos of Sharon's mother being with other men popped up on the screen.
"Oh my! That's indeed Irene Evans!"
"These don't look fake, though. They do look like photos from years ago. Was Irene such disloyal?"
"Who is that man? How could they do such things behind Mr. Evans?"
The guests were even more shocked after they saw the photos.
Sharon was almost crazy in such a situation.
"Renata! Stop! That must be fake!"
She cried and yelled, trying to stop Renata, but Joyce clenched on her.
Marvin, who was standing next to her, was silent with a long face. He looked like a dead man at this moment.
Renata continued to expose the shocking photos.
She showed some other photos after the old photos.
"Now we have known what kind of woman Sharon's mother was. My poor father has been cheated by that woman for so many years. He loves the daughter of that woman so, but how should that bastard pay my father back?"
After this, she sneered again.
"Sharon's behaviors prove a biology theory."
"The adopted children always have the same nature as that of their biological parents, not their adoptive parents."
"Therefore, my father and mother have been educating Sharon sincerely, and she also looks like a noble girl, but actually, she's living a trashy life just like her mother."
"She likes gigolos. Look what she has done! I feel ashamed of her!"
When she said this, she kept clicking.
On the screen, there were photos of Sharon talking and drinking with all kinds of different men. Those ambiguous photos shocked everyone.
"No! It's unbelievable!"
"The good daughter of the Evans family is such a trashy woman!"
"Look at those photos. How shameless. That's disgusting."
"Children are always like their parents. The daughter of that woman is also as shameless as her mother."

The guests were discussing and felt pity on Marvin.
"It's not real! It's all fake!" Sharon couldn't bear to be slandered by Renata like this.
She shouted and suddenly shrugged off Joyce's grab, rushing to Renata.
"Don't push me. Dad! Help me!"
Just when Sharon's hand touched Renata's body, Renata shouted out of fear all of a sudden.
Then with a loud thud, she fell on the ground, closed her eyes, and looked lifeless.
