Rosetta
Drake apologized to me and now we headed to the Snow's mansion. I sighed, it's really cold out there but really I'm used to it. Drake was right I know but I wasn't wrong either. I don't know what I want. What my heart wants I really don't know.
Drake is so cute. He's so sweet. It just felt like I'm falling in love with him but the next moment he proved me wrong.
"Welcome!" Andrew said warmly as we all entered inside. Chris and Andrew are in the kitchen for some appetite and as usual, Drake and I am settling down ourselves. He's looking at me with an adorable smile which makes me smirk.
"You know a girl with red is a great combination. It makes her hotter." I glance at Drake as my cheeks start flushing and my heart starts beating very fastly. Because I'm the one right now whose hair is not only red but lipstick, bracelet, and nail paint too.
"Was that a compliment Mr. Snow?" I asked and he started laughing.
"Definitely." He said very softly. It's like a whisper that only I can hear.
Seriously, even if he's such an irritating, flirty weirdo monster he's attractive too and I admit it. Drake, trying their best to hide his smile, I raised an eyebrow; "you're reading my mind again, don't you?"
He's smiling and staring at the wall, "maybe? So, you admit it?" Drake asked me and it made me shut and confused for a second.
I clear my throat, "No, I won't admit it."
"Don't worry, you're gonna admit it soon!"
I smiled. We were enjoying each other's company but then suddenly…..What the hell!
I heard a little bombardment and then a man...an old man appeared in front of us, he broke the entrance door.
"Well, well is that a party going on here? Without me?" Drake was sitting closer but behind me, I turned my face to look at him, his hands turned into fists.
It's like he's going to kill that man. He's angry and it's the first time I am actually scared of his anger.
"Who is he?" I asked in a very low and soft voice to Chris but she looked a little scared.
"What are you doing here?" Andrew asked.
"Hey, adopted boy it's my home, who are you to ask me?" Rude? He is such a rude person; I bit my lip.
Drake suddenly takes a step toward him and points his finger at that rude man, "Don't you dare to talk to my brother like that again."
Chris came closer and stood next to me. "Chris, who is he?" I asked again.
"He's…. Grandfather of Drake's and Andrew's." I can't believe it, he is so rude.
"I can do anything Drake Snow and you know it." That old man looked at me and it's like my heartbeat is skipping. "Who is she?"
"That's none of your business?" Drake said.
He takes a step toward me and raises an eyebrow, "you are a human right? Just like Chris. I know but trust me, it's for your own good, stay away from Drake, or one day he makes you a hybrid too."
Whoa, did he threaten me? I sighed as I came a little closer to him, "Mr.— You don't tell me what to do, I know what I am doing and I don't need you to concern me about what's good and bad for me."
Drake takes a step towards him, "looks like someone gets insulted by a mature girl." I can't help but smile at the words of maturity. Finally, he admits that I am mature.
That old man stared at me so terribly, "Get ready to suffer until you die painfully." Drake's eyes turned out red; he picked him up with his collars.
"Stay away from her," he said. His voice was so strong, rude, and threatening. "If anything, bad happens to my family, I swear I will burn every inch of you."
"Your time is ticking, you know what I want and you suppose to get me that thing today or tomorrow or I destroy your family within a second." That old man takes a step back and disappears like a wind.
I can't stop myself, I place my hand on his shoulder and he looks at me. "I'm sorry…...for everything." He whispered, before I said anything he disappeared too.
"I... I gotta go, I can't leave him alone," Andrew said and then he's gone too. My heart is seriously aching, the way Drake looked at me like he's shattered. I sighed, it was just me and Chris looking at each other, having no idea what just happened here.
"Are you okay Rose?" Chris asked me softly. "Yeah, I think. You?" I asked. "I'm fine too. I think we should go now, it's getting late?"
I nodded, "right," I tug my hair with my cold fingers and grab my bag quickly, "let's go, Chris."
"Take my hand?"
"What?" I asked.
She smiled, "trust me and just take my hand! Okay." I take her hand and the next thing that I know is a bright light coming from Chris and then I can't believe it... We are in a dorm again. My legs are a little shaky because I'm not used to that unbelievable magic.
"That's awesome, Chris."
"Thanks." She sighed heavily and sat on my bed, staring at the window. I sit with her and I place my hand on her shoulder, "everything will be okay, one day."
She smirked, "how? I'm worried sick about boys, I can't lose Andrew and Drake, they are my family…. my everything. Andrew loves me so much and Drake, well we are age fellows but he always treated me like a big brother. Snow boys always helped me whenever I needed them. I can't afford that risk and I know, you admit it or not but you have real feelings for Drake. I know you care about those brothers too." I sighed.
"Remember when I said, that no matter what I'm gonna protect you and never expose you?"
"Yeah, I remember Rose."
"I was serious Chris and I'm still. You are right I do care about them and also you and yeah, I admit I have feelings for that weirdo too."
She chuckles, "thank God you admitted it."
I smiled, "I want to help you and your brothers." She squeezes her hand with mine, "I know and we want you to be safe too. That's why we made a plan to stick together. Drake doesn't want to erase your memory because he doesn't want you to forget him and we are not good at erasing memories. We are not trained at erasing memories. It makes your life in danger…. It's a risk that we can't afford."
I smiled, "I don't want that too, I don't want to forget that weirdo."
She sighed, looking out the window, "I never had a friend like you? I mean you saved me, you risked your life to save mine, nobody can't risk her own life just to save others but you did it."
"It's because I never wanted you to die, I can't let you die, Chris, never." My voice is really promising and I'm sure about it. I'll do everything that I can to protect them. She hugged me, "you are the best friend I've ever had in my life."
I chuckled, "That's what I think about you, Chris. When I shifted here you are the one who welcomed me and helped me and I like you."
"Awww, I like you too Rose," she's squeezing my back.
"Where's Selena by the way? I didn't see her after the Aquarium accident. What happened?" I saw a look on Chris's face… it's faded.
"I erased her memories, that day when monsters attacked her I used my powers to save her and she watched everything, she looked terrified and it's like she's mad at me, she's just screaming and crying she doesn't even recognize me so I erased all her memories about me and made her calmed down. She doesn't know us, not anymore."
Hurt wrapped my heart as my eyes filled with tears, "I'm so sorry Chris."
Chris wiped her tears, her cheeks are pure red because she was crying and I understand it's really hard to lose a best friend.
"It's okay, she was my friend, and erasing her memory is better than letting her die."
Drake
Hmmm, the sound of water and fresh breeze at the beach, I really need that it makes me feel good and yeah, it's relaxing. What happened today was a complete disaster. I hate him. It's the first time I'm actually embarrassed in front of Rose, just because of grandpa. I like the way that she stood for herself tonight and insulted him. She's an angry fire with an angelic heart. It's really cold in Winchester and on the beach so nobody can't swim here because it's freezing. I love this place even if it's cold here I still love it!
"Drake? Drake! Thank God you are here, I'm worried about you. I searched you everywhere and then I guess you are here and I was right as always."
"Andrew, you are talking too much, relax."
"My brother was missing and you said to relax?"
I smirked, "sorry to make you worry, but I just wanted to be alone that's it."
"I know and I understand. He's always like this at the beginning."
"When it's over? I mean, I'm tired and I'm sick of everything?" I asked hopelessly.
"Drake, the only way to get out of that hell is fighting. Fighting with Mystic and grandfather. We can't live in this fear of dying."
"I'm not afraid of dying Andrew; I just wanted to protect you guys."
"How are we gonna do that?" Andrew asked and I sighed, "I don't know," I threw a stone at the water. "We need to find a way as fast as possible."
"Yeah, right but Drake, what about Rose?" Andrew asked me.
"She's not in a big danger, we can protect her too. I can't let her die just because of us."
"Tomorrow is a big day, you do remember, don't you?"
I raised an eyebrow, "for what?"
"Oh, come on the only thing that you remember is food." I smiled, "Is that a bad thing, Andrew?"
"No, no it's not but try to remember other stuff too like tomorrow we are going to the cafeteria for girls."
"Ah, yeah, I think I remember but I think Zuro's gonna kill us?"
He narrowed his eyes, "Yeah I know, but we can't leave girls alone so yeah and it's all because of you. You're a jerk."
I laugh, "It was an accident that day and I'm still your brother so that makes you a jerk too."
"Do you love her?"
"What?" I asked.
"I said do you love her?" I raised an eyebrow, "Which one?"
"How many girls are you keeping Drake?" I start counting and I know that makes him angry. Actually, it's thirteen. "Thirteen? Are you kidding me?"
"No, I'm not including Rose, she's the thirteenth one."
"Rose was right about you, you're a flirty weirdo." I laugh! "She's a baby girl and yeah, I think I like her but love? I'm not sure about it. Maybe at some point but I swear to God, when I first saw her I really wanted to marry her but now I want her to live her life and it's only possible without me."
"Hey, don't say that I mean look at me, Chris was human too and we are together, still."
I sighed, "I don't know but I want to see her. That's all I want right now."
"Then you have to wait until tomorrow and I have an idea."
"What is it?" I asked.
"You need to ask her out… for a real first date."
I raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, I like that idea but is that okay?"
"Well, duh! It's a fantastic idea."
"In that case, I'm gonna ask her tomorrow," I said.
"That's my boy!" I smirked.
"Yeah, I know I think it's getting late. Let's go."
"Okay," Andrew said. Thanks to my magic we are here at home in one second. "Good night."
"Good night Andrew."
Finally, that long night is over, and again as usual Andrew and I headed to see our girls.
It's funny… to call Rose my girl. I mean she's not confirmed my girl…. not yet but let's hope for the best. A small smirk escapes from the corner of my lips. She's amazing and I'm a monster but I'm hot and I admit. I'm hot, sexy, beautiful, charming and yeah I am so unbelievable.
Andrew and I am almost there and my heart starts beating very fast. It always does when she's near me and it all starts from the beginning. It was really annoying at first but now I'd really started to like it anyway.
"Hey, pretty boys!" Chris welcomed us with a warm smile on her face.
I saw Rose standing in front of me in a white fluffy shirt, white jeans, and all-red makeover. Her hair is red, her lips are red and she looks incredible as always.
"Hey!" I said. She looked at me with a soft smile.
"Hey!"
"Drake!"
"Yeah," I replied. "You okay?" She asked. I smirked and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking." Andrew and Chris are busy with each other, it's really great that Zuro's not here. I think it's a good time to ask her out before anybody comes.
"Rose!" She looked at me like a cute baby "Yeah."
"I was just thinking...um... Andrew and Chris are going out, Zuro is not here and the weather is really very good. I... like the birds outside. It's amaz—" Rose looked at me confusingly. Shit, what I am doing. "Um...so, birds... oh not birds… Actually—" She smiles, "Drake!" I grin! "Yeah," I said. "Come to the point."
"Would you like to go out with me?" I asked quickly with my eyes shut and I know that right now I'm looking like a complete idiot.
