Chapter 2: Running from the marriage
It's a dark and hushed night. A girl was running on the scary and quiet road. The road looked so horrible to her, shaggy trees on both sides and no vehicle or person could been seen. she was so frightened but still she's running to save her future.
She looked so pale and weak as if she's starving since days. She's breathing heavily, and slowly her weakness was taking over her.
Soon she was stopped to improve breathing, but in no time she's started running again.
After some time of running, she's stopped in the middle of the long and scary road. She couldn't run any further now. She's left with no energy.
She's feeling daizy and slowly her vision's getting blurry.
That's it, her energy drained out. She was about to fall on the ground but a man came and held her firmly, and pulled her to him, to prevent her from falling.
She couldn't see the face of the man cos of her blurry vision but she could feel that the man was holding her so securely and she was comfortable by his touch.
Soon she zoned out in his arms.
NEXT MORNING
GIRL'S POV :
I was sleeping but some visions rushed in my head, they were scary which made me wake up panting heavily. After getting normal, I've seen that the surrounding was so unfamiliar. I was in the luxurious room. I was shocked at the moment, I've seen the surrounding. I was stressing my brain cells to remember what happened last night after I ran from the house to escape from the forced marriage. As much as I could remember, I was running on the scary road in the dark and then...?
I was thinking so hard but suddenly someone came in. She was come with a food tray, as soon as I saw the food, I remembered that I didn't eat properly since half a month. That woman was looking senior and well dressed, the dress was looking like some kind of uniform. As soon as she saw me awaken, she ran to me and asked me...
WOMAN : "Are you up?"
"How are you feeling?"
GIRL : "I'm fine, thank you."
WOMAN : "Okay, Have your food? I brought this for you."
GIRL : "Thank you, but could you please tell me how and why I'm here?"
( She was curious to know so before anything else she asked her question and the woman smiled at her a little and began to tell.)
WOMAN : "Yesterday night, sir took you here, you were unconscious at that time. We gave medicines later on, and finally you woke up now."
( Girl was shocked at her answer.)
GIRL : "Sir?"
" Who is this?"
( With that she remembered someone was preventing her from fall last night.)
WOMAN :" Sir is our boss. The owner of this big villa. He is the ceo of one of the top companies."
GIRL : "Okay..."
WOMAN : "Now, you must eat your food. You look so pale and weak."
GIRL : "No, no...I should leave now, how I can stay here."
( She was about to get but that woman prevented her from getting up.)
WOMAN : "No, no...! You can't go anywhere in this state. Look, you are so weak and also sir told us not to let you go before you get fully recovered."
GIRL : "What!?! Why did he say that? I mean I'm just a stranger."
WOMAN : "Our sir is so kind hearted and humble so he helps everyone who needs help."
GIRL : "I see..."
( With that, the girl started eating the food, she felt like heaven when she had her first bite cos she was so hungry. While she was eating, that woman asked...)
WOMAN : "What's your name?"
GIRL : "I'm Rose."
WOMAN : "Okay..."
( After finishing the food, that woman gave her medicines. She took the medicines. That woman was about to go but rose said...)
ROSE : "Thank you so much ma'am."
WOMAN : "It's okay, but don't need to call me ma'am."
ROSE : "Then, what should I call you?"
WOMAN : "Call me annie as sir and others call me by that name, okay?"
ROSE : "Okay Annie."
WOMAN : "Now, take some rest."
( With that she smiled and left the room.)
ROSE'S POV :
I was in my deep thoughts when someone came in. She was carrying a food tray. As soon as she saw me, she ran to me and asked me about my health. I said her, I'm fine. She said me to eat the food but I was so disturbed by the thought of how I come here. So, I asked her before doing or asking anything else. She smiled and answered me that her sir brought me here. After listening to her, I got a vision of someone's preventing me from falling down last night. Though i don't remember his face but I sensed comfort and secured feeling last night, when he was holding me. Soon I shrugged it off cos it looked inappropriate, thinking like that.
I was feeling so awkward staying in someone's villa whom I don't even know. I wanted to go from here so I said her that I would leave but she said me that her sir said not to let me go before I get fully recovered. I was shock at first but after knowing that he is so kind and humble, I thought, may be he is like that to everyone so I shrugged it off. After all questioning, I started eating the food. It felt like heaven eating properly after half a month. After finishing with food, she gave me medicines and I took that. I addressed her by saying ma'am but she said, I should call her annie instead of ma'am. I felt strange cos I'm just a stranger and she's so nice to me as if I'm her beloved one. I don't know why. I really wanna go from here as I feel so awkward and bad staying in stranger's house but where should I go now in this state, may be as annie said I should be here till i recovered and after that will leave this villa.
( After thinking for a bit more, she felt sleepy and slept again.)
