Chapter 3: chapter 2 - First Completed Quest
Theo woke up extremely excited. After waiting for 6 years, he could finally access his stats and complete his first quest.
The first thing he heard when he woke up was.
Ding!

Sitting up on the edge of the bed, he thought, 'status window'

As soon as his status window popped up, two small glass bottles the size of a nail polish bottle appeared and hovered in his front of him.
Body Strengthening Potion
- The user will feel some increase in strength. If used in the early ages, user will have a much better physique and heal faster than average men.
Mind Strengthening Potion
- Helps strengthen the user's mind. Would be immune to mind related attacks and aura as well.
The first thing he did was drink the Mind Strengthening Potion pointed out by the system.
He didn't feel much difference after drinking the Potion. Other than his mind becoming clearer which didn't seem very interesting to him.
Theo then opened the second bottle and downed it. The effect this time was more noticeable as he felt a warm sensation through out his whole body and his body slowly felt lighter.
He then checked his stats again and was very satisfied by the effect

All his stats has increased by a few points. Theo stood up and jumped around a few times and ran around his room. He was delighted to find that he was faster and lighter.
After a few tests her heard,

Sit ups: 0/30
Push ups: 0/30
Reward: 10 Points
Penalty: lose hearing for 1 hour]
The penalty didn't look bad but it would be troublesome. Theo used to be a mercenary in tip top shape anyways so this much was easy for him.
After completing the sit ups and push ups in his room. He felt that his room wouldn't be suitable to run around so he had to change the location.
After learning to walk, he had roamed around the estate and ended up discovering the knight's training ground a few years ago. Since then, he would often go there observe the knights with some interest. He decided to continue his training there as it would be big enough for him to run around which wouldn't attract much attention as he had often been there anyways.
After a few laps in the training grounds, he heard a notification from the system.
[Daily Quest Completed! Reward: 10 Points]
'Well, that was easy' Theo thought
[Don't get too happy, the daily quest would get harder as you go on.]
"Thank you for congratulating me for completing my first proper Quest system" Theo replied sarcastically.
[You're welcome]
The edge of Theo's mouth twitched from the system's reply. "By the way, where are you from and why did you choose me system?" He finally asked a question that has been bugging him for years.
[Host is currently too weak to know. Just increase your strength now and become more powerful.]
'Hmmm' Theo hummed unconvinced. 'Well, can't do anything if it doesn't want to say' he thought.
After taking a bath, Theo walked to the library and looked for more books about the continent he was in.
As soon as he could walk, he tried to look for books and learn the language here. His parents were surprised and happy to see that he was interested in reading so they had a child tutor to teach him how to read and write as early as the age of 3.
He could now read without any external help so he would venture to the library alone and drown himself in the information regarding this world.
Theo learned that he was currently in the Kingdom on Oriborn. His father is the count of the Ashwell territory in the north of the kingdom. The territory is in charge of protecting the kingdom's northen border from the shadow forest.
From what he has read, the shadow forest is a mysterious place that no human would return alive when entered thus there is little to no information regarding that place. However, since it's right next to the Ashwell territory, Theo felt that it was important to learn more about it.
Digging through the books in the library, he found a short article from an unknown adventurer that there are shadow walkers living in the forest. However they don't venture out of the forest thus little to nothing is known about them.
While looking for an interesting book to read, Theo could hear someone calling him.
"Theo! Theo! Let's go have breakfast!" Turning around, Theo found his older brother Alex running towards him with a huge smile in his face.
Theo's brother is now 11 years old and often looked for him when he is not busy with his classes or knight training. Although Theo found his brother annoying, he enjoyed his brother's company even if he refused to admit it.
He grew up an orphan in his previous life so it was nice to have a brother that cared for him in this world.
"It's your birthday today, why are you still looking for boring books. Let's do something fun today after breakfast." Alex said.
Theo did find himself hungry as he hasn't eaten yet after working out. So he let his brother drag him to the dinning room.
Entering the dining room, he found his parent already there. His father has ash white hair which was the symbol of the Ashwell family, similar to him and his brother. His brother looked alot like their father, he even inherited his father's blue eyes, while Theo had his mother's red eyes.
Their family were all very good looking, he bet that he and his brother would be breaking many hearts in the future. Theo thought with a smile.
[Dont worry, even with good looks, your personality will keep the opposite gender away.] The system suddenly talked in his mind.
Theo's smile froze while he swore at the system wishing it had a physical body he could beat up.
