Chapter 2: 6 Wishes and a Boon
'My first wish is for you to tell me why you placed me here.'
The bright orb wanted to know his situation before he asks the rest of his wishes. Although The Space-Time Master of the Void has shown his sincerity but the bright orb still does not trust him 100%.
This wish is only valid in this situation due to the causality skill and the bright orb has gambled on the fact whether this causality skill is real or not.
If the bet is wrong then this man definitely lied since there was no need for the causality skill if he spoke the truth. If the bet is correct then this man has indeed spoken the truth. Either way the results of this bet would only be known after a long long time.
"Staying at the edge of the void would have given you many benefits which you should explore yourself but at the same time it was to test your will power the result of which was satisfying. This is necessary since you will be our future ally and comrade."
The space-time master of the void's explanation eased the bright orbs worries to some extent. He did not want to live the tragic lives of some MCs in fanfictions with wishes.
'My second wish is to get all the techniques and skills of the Shadow Monarch from Solo Leveling.'

The bright orb chose this wish which would let him fight against armies all alone, as a army in one man. A personal liking of the necromancer's skills also influenced choosing this skill.
'My third wish is to gain the most advanced Sage Body you can give'
"Granted"
The bright orb chose this to gain a high enough strength and chakra alongside natural Sage Mode.
'My fourth wish is to gain the Golden Rule (wealth) of Gilgamesh.'
"Granted"
The bright orb chose this to have a wealthy life no matter which world he enters in the future. As the ancients say, money is power. His love for money is definitely 'not' the reason for this wish.
'My fifth wish is to learn all the languages you know.'
"Oh a smart wish. You will be given a book that will transfer all the languages I know to you."
'Isn't that similar to the language book that Gu Qing Shan gains in World's Apocalypse Online?'
"Its literally the same"

The bright orb chose this wish due the fact that he will be travelling the multiverse. Often times a simple conversation can avoid unnecessary fighting and promote harmony. Perfect for someone who loves to avoid unnecessary troubles.
'My sixth wish is to gain Juuzou Shishimi's swordsmanship knowledge which should include Absolute Cutting and Concept Slicing from UQ Holder'
"Hmmm since its just knowledge it can be granted."
The bright orb chose this wish in order to get this op and near omnipotent swordsmanship. The bright orb who has always loves swords was overjoyed that he could gain this technique even if it meant he had to train it from scratch.
There was a certain gambling element when asking for this wish since he was unsure as to whether it will be granted or not. This is why he asked for knowledge instead of the swordsmanship it self.
"Since all 6 wishes have been granted, next I will create a body for your soul. Do you have any preference."
'Make it so that I will atleast be handsome.'
"That's all?"
'Yup'
"Then I will grant you this body."
The space-time master of the void raised his palm and showed a 3-D picture of a man.
'Why him?'
"Are you dissatisfied?"
'No, I'm just curious'
"I just saw him in his world some time ago so instinctively chose his image first."
'Oh, I see.'
"Now that everything has settled, its time for you to be reborn."
'Wait what is my boon'
"Goodbye, future Gamer of the Void"
'Huh'
Before the bright orb could ask what he meant he disappeared. The Space-Time Master of the Void silently looked at the place the bright orb was previously at and the asked:
"Did all of you do it?"
Suddenly different voices were heard from behind:
"We have all used our powers to hide his identity from prying eyes."
"The Gamer of the Void should be able to grow safely from our enemies."
The Space-Time Master of the Void listened to them and asked:
"What do you think about him"
The different voices answered:
"Wise. He didn't immediately believed us but continued to analyze facts"
"He probably doesn't completely believe us"
"Although not as cunning as the previous Gamer of the Void but he just started his journey and growth."
The Space-Time Master of the Void nodded:
"Indeed, he has better potential then expected. His last wish was quite coincidental. That swordsmanship belonged to one the avatars of the previous gamer so it could be granted. His growth can now only be left to fate."

A few guards could be seen patrolling around the Bamboo village when one of the guards noticed a baby in a basket next to the city gate. In a hurry, the guard rushed towards the baby while his partner looked around for any signs of another person but found nothing.
The guard took the basket back to the village while asking if someone wanted to raise the child. An old man volunteered to raise the child and took the boy and the basket back to his house.
Once he reached his house he looked at child and stated:
"Since no name has been left in this basket then you will be called Akimitsu."
The baby in the basket responded back by raising its arms as if satisfied with the name. However the baby himself did not understand the old man but was rather checking out his boon right now.
'Wow what, I actually got the Gamer System. This can either bad or good. Why did that man give me this Gamer System? And is this the timer before it activates?'
[365 days : 23 hours : 30 minutes : 43 seconds]
The boy, now Akimitsu, ponders but could not come up with an answer.
'Forget it, you will know in the future.'
The baby gave up on thinking and started collecting his thoughts once again.
'So I have to wait a year before the gamer system starts huh. By then I can probably start walking and if I have Gamer's body then I can start training immediately which is good.'
Thinking so, Akimitsu went into deep and sound sleep.
