Chapter 3: First Order
Cosmo went behind the counter and grabbed some ground beans and placed them into the espresso machine. He then activated the machine which started preparing to pour out a shot of espresso into a cup.
After that the espresso was poured into the cup, Cosmo went to the fridge and grabbed some milk and poured the Snow White liquid into the milk steamer, and let it steam the milk.
"Jushein, do you want a specific design on your Latte?" Said Cosmo. "Specific design? You can put art on this Latte?" Replied Jushein in an intrigued voice
"Yes you can, what do you want one or not?" Said Cosmo in a calm tone. "Can you put a flying bird on it?" said Jushein.
Cosmo replied, "Done, your drink will be up in a few minutes". Cosmo went back to making the Latte. He poured the milk into the shot of espresso and mixed it.
After all of this he moved on to the final step, he grabbed the rest of the steamed milk and masterfully poured it in the proper amount and arrangement to make a flying bird appear on top of the Latte
The drink was complete! All that was left was to complete a few minor touches. Cosmo grabbed a small charger plate and placed the Latte on top of it, careful not to damage the flying bird.
Here's your Latte, Cosmo lifted the plate and brought it to Jushein's table. Jushein watched with curiosity as Jushein placed the Latte on top of the table.
Jushein carefully and delicately picked up the cup in fear that he would ruin the flying bird or even drop the Latte. Jushein began to admire the art as he would have never thought before this moment that a drink could hold an image or art to a great degree as he saw right now.
Jushein asked Cosmo in a worried tone "Can I even drink this lest I mess up this beautiful art here?" Cosmo replied in a questioning tone, "Why would you not drink it? The Latte was made to be drunk for consumption, this art is just an add-on such as armor being just added to a soldier. It would be a disservice to me and this drink to not drink it and only take it for its face value would it not?
Jushein looked dumbfounded, he felt enlightened by what Jusehin had told him. Jushein spoke in a gratified tone "Thank you for enlightening me Mr. Cosmo, after what you have said I must drink this"
Jushein put his mouth near the smoking cup and slightly tilted the Latte towards his mouth as the hot light brown liquid flowed into his mouth. The second it hit his tongue and chambers of his mouth Jushein felt like he was in his own world and calm like he was a baby who was trouble-free.
"Aaaaaa," said Jushein in a very laid-back and relaxed manner as he enjoyed his Latte peacefully. "I have never tasted anything as great as this in my entire life. "It makes me feel like I'm back to my hot-blooded youth, oh how long ago that was," Jushein said in a tone that had some nostalgia.
Jushein continued to drink his Latte until he finished it and said "Brother Cosmo, can I order another Latte?"
Just as Cosmo was about the reply the system's voice rang "Customers may currently only drink one cup of Coffee a day, further amounts shall lead to unfortunate consequences such as self-combustion, cultivation degeneration, and much more". Internally Cosmo sighed at the fact that he could only sell one coffee per person, but he had morality and couldn't allow someone to die or get hurt due to selling more coffee.
Cosmo Immediately replied to Jushein in an apologetic voice, "Unfortunately, currently each customer is limited to only one drink per person"
Jushein replied in a begging tone "Brother Cosmo, please! Would another drink hurt you or me, you can get more of my gold coins and I can get another Latte?" "I am sorry but I cannot do that for you nor anyone else due to negative side effects to your cultivation," said Cosmo
Jushein immediately checked his Dantian to notice that it was filled up. "Ah how could I not notice that my Dantian was filled up, If Brother Cosmo did not remind me I could have damaged my dantian" Thought Jushein.
"Thank you for letting me know about the consequences Brother Cosmo, what time do you open tomorrow?" said Jushein gratefully. Cosmo replied, "We are open from 7 AM to 12 AM every day." Jushein replied politely. "I shall come back tomorrow for more, farewell brother Cosmo, I shall see you tomorrow". After that Jushein left the Cafe and went off to whatever plans he had left that day.
Once Jushein left, Cosmo yawned and went back to grab the cup and charger plate and brought them back to be cleaned, he placed them in the sink and washed them individually.
After cleaning the cup and the charger plate Cosmo said "System Status". In front of him appeared his current status

Cosmo let out a long sigh after reviewing his status, "We've only just begun haven't we?" he said to himself alone in his silent and empty cafe
When midnight came, Cosmo closed up the Cafe and thought back on what happened today. "not much happened but at least we got a customer, were now 20% complete with the mission, and hopefully, he brings some people with him next time"
The system's voice rang soon after stating "Host, be more confident, on the Journey to becoming the Cafe God, you must have confidence in yourself". The voice still sounded robotic but he could hear a slight hint of encouragement from the voice.
Cosmo felt much better after hearing these words of encouragement as you have to note that Cosmo was just a normal human with feelings who was just placed into this new world. He was no immortal whose heart was unmoving like a mountain, nor a warrior who lived in the moment. He was just a normal human and these words uplifted him.
A rare smile appeared on Cosmo's face as he went upstairs to his current domicile, and just behind followed Brownie the Cat as they went to rest for the night.
