Luke Crimson POV:

We stayed like that for a while, Crista kept caressing my head as she spoke words of consolation.

It is really weird for a grown man to be crying at the hands of a woman he just met, but she just managed to make that invisible wall crumble down with those words alone.

Soon after I calmed down, she rose to her feet again, "I'm sorry, master. For addressing you with your name earlier…" She looked dejected.

"Eh, no don't be! I actually want you to call me by my given name," I smiled.

"No, I can't possibly do that--" I interrupted her sentence, butting in myself.

"Rejection! That is my wish, so I hope you will respect it and call me Luke." I said with a mischievously bemused tone.

"Ah… um… master Luke…" She fidgeted with her fingers as her face flushed in a red color.

Now that's a critical shot to my heart! I thought to myself while clutching my heart.

Too cute for her own good.
