Chapter 20: 20-I-ISLAND (2.1) & Back to Training
Standing on the starting line was Lenox, his body started to glow orange, as the signal sounded.
The course was composed of obstacles with random shapes, and sizes. The goal is to destroy the robots, in the least amount of time. The difficulty part lays with the robots. The robots can obviously move around, they are much harder than targets, so it takes some force to break them, and lastly, they fight back.
Each robot has two guns. The first gun shoots rubber bullets, they can't kill anyone, but they really hurt.
The second gun shoots paint ball, every time, you get hit by a paint ball, 5 seconds is added to your total time.
Lenox took off running, at a much faster speed than last time they met. His footsteps left small marks on the ground, 'it seems he has better control over his ability, he can decided wither or not to melt the ground under his feet' Aska was really impressed by his level of control.
'It seems he also pushed himself really hard over the past few years' Aska smiled as he saw his friends name take the number one spot on the leader board.
"Let's see you try this one" - Lenox said to me while walking closer to the sidelines.
"Just watch and learn" - Aska said to Lenox, who had a big smile on his face.
"Go on then, show me" - Lenox replied to Aska, while Aska walked up to the starting line.
The countdown began, Aska wrapped himself in lightning cloak, the second the buzzer sounded, Aska took off running, he was much faster than Lenox, and the robots, were harder to pierce, but nothing electric glove couldn't handle.
After Aska finished his course, he started to walk back to his friend, with a huge smile on his face,
"Look over Lenox, you see that. That's my name at the number one spot" - Aska teasing his friend
"Just enjoy it while it lasts, I'm just getting warmed up" - Lenox
The two spent the whole day going through many courses, they even went back to the first course where they met, and had a rematch.

Currently both are sitting down in a restaurant getting some food.
Aska looked at his friend, who was looking through the menu,
'Honestly just how talented is he? I have a great ability, but he can keep up with me. During our course runs, we never had a decisive winner, I won some and he won some'
After some more thinking, he decided there was no point in thinking about it.
They ate their food, and Aska got a phone call, it was his dad,
"Hi dad" - Aska
"Hello Aska. Listen, your mother and I are going to a showroom right now, it will be showroom 9. We'll be there for a couple of hours, if you want to come with us, we'll meet you there. If not, I just wanted to let you know that we're out of the hotel room, incase you go back, I left a room key at the reception desk, just go to them, they remember you, they'll give you the key" - dad
"Alright dad, have fun at the showroom" - Aska
"Thanks Aska, we will" - dad
After that they hang up.
"What do you want to do know Aska?" - Lenox
"Dad said he will go to showroom 9, we can join them, or we can go and do more courses, that is if you want to keep losing" Aska said, he smiled when he said the last part.
"As if! I was keeping score, I beat you in 6 courses, you won 5, so obviously I won" - Lenox
"Lenox, do you know how to count, because I'm sure, I won 6 times, and you won 5" - Aska
Aska and Lenox started to have a debate over who won more than who. The debate went nowhere, both were convinced that the other lost, anyway after some more time, they decided to go to the showrooms.
On their way to the showrooms, they saw pro heroes, they took pictures with some of them, and kept walking.
They reached showroom 9, Aska was able to spot his parents instantly, and went towards them.
"Hello Aska. Hello Lenox, its nice to meet you again" - mom
"Hello ma'am, it nice to see you" - Lenox
Lenox introduced himself to my dad, while that was happening, mom decided to tease me a bit.
Mom jokingly pouted about me leaving the room without saying goodbye to her. She teased me, saying, "my Aska is all grown up he doesn't need to say goodbye to his poor mother anymore" with some fake tears.
Dad, and Lenox just stood to the side watching me get teased by mom, dad had a big smile on his face though, and Lenox had a sinister smile on his face. It looks like he'll remember this for the rest of his life, and he won't let me forget it either.
After some more time, the host took stage and started the show.
Dad and mom were interested in some of the inventions around. Lenox told me he will go to the bathroom, I turned to my parents, and told them I'll also head to the bathroom, and then maybe I'll go walk around to see other showrooms.
I got to the bathroom, Lenox was there washing his hand already, I used the bathroom and also washed my hand
"Let's go see the other showrooms" - Aska
"Don't forget to say goodbye to your poor mother before we leave" - Lenox with the same sinister smile
"Shut up! I'm leaving" - Aska
"hahaha" - Lenox just laughed and followed me.
We went around to a few different showrooms, we saw a few interesting things, but nothing crazy.
It was around time for me to meet up with my parents again. Lenox said goodbye and left, just as he started to walk away, a woman with a maid outfit showed up next to him, and started to walk along side him.
'So that's who's been following us, his maid' - Aska was able to find her out with observation haki, but since this was I-ISLAND he knew nothing dangerous will happen.

While Lenox and his maid were walking,
"Your friend is quite interesting young master" - the maid
"I know right, he is really strong" - Lenox
"In more ways than you think young master" - the maid
"What do you mean?" - Lenox
"My apologies young master, I mean nothing by that" - the maid with a smile on her face. 'That young man was able to see me from the very second he came near us, he looked right at my direction and even kept his guard up the whole day, it's either I've gotten so rusty that a kid can detect me, or he is just that sharp' The maid thought to herself.
Lenox was confused, but he just shrugged it off.

Aska was with his parents, they went for dinner, and went back to the hotel room.
The rest of the week, was almost the same as last time they came to I-ISLAND.
Aska spent his time hanging out with Lenox. He met Lenox's mother again, and it seems like his mom and Lenox's mom got well together.
He went to his dad's showroom, and saw a few more cool gadgets.
After a week of fun, Aska was in the airport with his parents, about to leave I-ISLAND.
'I spent a month in the most dangerous place I've ever known, in both lives. I've also been to the safest place I've ever known, also in both lives. This summer was fun' Aska had a smile on his face while walking towards the plane gates.
Then the smile widened a bit more, 'I need to focus on my martial arts basics. Even though I'm working hard, there are people who work just as hard as me. This is getting more fun, I can see why people in all of those fictional stories chase after power so much' Aska thought as he remembered his and Lenox's improvement.
They boarded the plain, and many hours later, they reached home.
Aska went to his room, and unpacked his bag. Just as he was about to lay on the bed, he remembered how strong his friend was. Aska had this deaminated look on his face, he walked towards his table, he can see the notebook containing the muscle simulating technique, he picked it up and decided to try it again.

Hello everyone, I hope you like the chapter.
Lately I've had this weird urge to add a badass female character to this fanfic.
I need suggestions. I asked a friend and he recommended Toph Beifong from avatar. An underrated female character who, in my opinion is badass and has a great personality. Who would you recommend? It doesn't have to be from anime, it could be from any fictional work.
