Chapter 179: The company dorms

It was a clear, cloudless, and colder-than-the-usual day when Yang Jingshen moved to live in the dorm room assigned to him by the company. The morning sunlight was pale but clear and there was a biting chill in the air, despite the fact that the sun shone brightly -or as brightly as it could in such cold weather- in the sky above.

Last night, the imperial capital had experienced its first snowfall of the year, which, when considering that it was already late November, wasn't that surprising. 

The cleaners had already started to or had already removed the light smatterings of snow blanketing the ground, but in some places, you could still see an occasional layer of powdery white. And this too also disappearing under the increasing glare of the morning sunlight.
