Chapter 5: READY?????
When I heard a knock on my door, I was paralyzed on my spot, thinking about who can be here at this midnight.
Again the door knocked as I opened the door there was no one there, I came out of the room in the hallway but there was no one around.
I knocked on Jess's door, but he didn't open it, first I think he fell asleep but I can hear he was playing video games. So I dialed his number and called him he immediately picked up
" you are awake??" he said. I replied,
"why aren't you opening the door"?
"Yeah, it was you"? he asked in a confusing tone.
"Who else you were expecting then?"
"Don't ask me, BTW Are you still there lemme open the door for you."
As he opened the door I get in "tell me now who were you expecting to be there?"
Don't ask me, babe, someone just kept on knocking on my door since I moved upstairs, but I don't find anyone there.
"So he is also facing this", I thought.
where did you lose I'm talking to you!!!
"Oh yeah, I am here."
"Never mind, Adam called me downstairs but I didn't go I know he wanna play those freaking midnight games". he said
"Oh really??"
"Stop getting too excited. we are not going anyway," he said while disappointing me.
"Who said we don't, of course, we go," I said in a challenging tone.
"I am not going", he said while folding his hands on his chest.
okay, then I am going you wait here before someone knocks your door and gets in and-
"Okay, that's enough, I am coming with you."
"That's like a good boy".
We both went downstairs, and all of them were waking as if it were morning. They all went too happy by saw us.
Adam showed up and said I knew you would come.
"C'mon let's go outside," Adam said and went outside.
"Is he insane or something we are not going anywhere? said Jess.
"Of course, we are going "'Mia said and started going towards the main door then Joe stand up and while keeping his hands in his pocket went towards the main door.
Now only me and Jess were there in the room,
"Not you," said Jess while giving me an innocent look.
I had a smirk on my face
"of course Jess I will" saying this I too went towards the main door.
After a while, Jess too came there and we started playing,
"So each of us will gonna told a horror story," said Adam.
"Not this one Adam it's too boring to let's do something practical," said Joe.
After that, he started thinking and after a while, he said okay then we gonna play hide and seek.
okay!!! me, Adam, and Mia said at one time. We all see Jess for his reply.
"o..okay the..n if all of you are ready what can this poor little soul can do? he said with a sad face."
"Oh C'mon, you poor little whatever stop being a coward it gonna be fun," said Mia.
