Chapter 5: Mysterious Room
It's been a few years since a calamity no one foresaw or imagined was born in this world. All the things that happened to the Night Clan and things related to Ezio have been long forgotten. Even though Abbot had his doubts, he had no chance of following the leads. Whoever destroyed the Night Forest Clan left no trace at all.
Of course, they couldn't agree with the request they found in the letter left on Ezio. Abbot had too many doubts about the issue first of all. And second, Secret Forest was a Kingdom Tier I power and had a deeper heritage. It was once an Empire Tier II power but declined in time. To question power like this over a letter was a fool's errand.
Abbot had his doubts too, of course. Ezio had similar traits to Night People, yes, but he was more of a human instead of an elf, unlike the Night People.
Abbot decided to ignore all of these unsolvable mysteries for now, and cultivate Ezio because if he really had that genius blood like was stated in the letter, it meant he was a supreme talent such as Night People. He could even cultivate both traits, Qi and Mana as their founder Matriarch did if he had a talent for it.
At this time Ezio was at the artificial lake peeping on women bathing within. The artificial lake was created with the water of the Pure Lake because adults couldn't enter the lake. So, Sect moved some water to use it for bathing purposes.
Ezio was almost 11 years old now. He was getting ready to break through the Qi Vortex Creation realm. He accumulated enough Qi to break through long ago, but he realized that he could still gather more and more. Since he could, he didn't want to enter too early. Firstly, to avoid causing anybody to get suspicious of his talent, secondly, he read about a seamless body more than one time in the oldest tomes left behind by the founder. According to the legend, when one gathered as much as Qi to create a Vortex as big as a celestial body, one could achieve "The Seamless Body."
Most of the Elders were also happy with Ezio because he almost immediately entered the Qi Gathering Realm when he was 9 years old. What they didn't know was that Ezio started to gather Qi when he was a month old. Thanks to his physique being equal to mortal adults, he didn't have to wait until the age of 9.
The next day, his birthday, was the day for him to enter the Qi Vortex Creation Realm. And at the moment he was peeping on women to blow off some steam.
'Hehe, peeking on the lake when there are twenty beauties is surely the best. I am relaxed and ready to break through.' Ezio smiled before turning around to leave. If any of those ladies saw his smile, their faces would flush immediately.
Even though he was but a small boy, Ezio was handsome like no other they had ever seen. His black hair was like the darkest night, and smooth as the silk. He had the bluest eyes, so much so that even Edgar Allan Poe would write a trilogy novel for his blue eyes. His eyes were blue like the night sky. Stars would shine in them, and one look from him would drift any maiden to endless skies. His face and masculine body started to show themselves even when he was nine. And he had unexplainable charm, he figured mostly related to the secret he was born with, aka Mysterious Room.
In these 11 years, Ezio learned more about the room that resided in his mindscape. The golden pillar ascended at the center of the room. It seemed like it was created with the best metals in the universe. The luster of the pillar was soothing and calming, with a sliver of exalted majesty. It had a silhouette of him, and a scroll beneath on the one side of the pillar. On the scroll, there were details about him.

When Abbot mentioned him having a subtle amount of Elf gene, one of the question marks on the scroll shined and turned into the ancient character of Elf when he was still in Abbot's arms.
When he turned seven, another room opened. The ancient characters above were interpreted as "Trade Center." There was a copy of him sitting inside the room and there was a spinning wheel behind him with blank spaces, also empty shelves. But unlike in the previous room, he could chat with this version of him. But he was only answering things related to the room, such as its functions.
He also got a lottery ticket for free because the room has just opened. With this ticket to his surprise, he won the Myriad Element's Roaring, a Mana Cultivation Manual. He wanted to have one of these for a long time. Because he wasn't sure if there was any rule like there was in Qi cultivation he had to follow, so he didn't want to miss any chances. Even though he was oblivious to Mana Cultivation, he still gathered Mana from Heaven and Earth while he was still growing up.
To his surprise, he couldn't take the books outside of the Mysterious Room, unlike the physical books he brought into the room. He could study them anytime he wanted when he was in the Mysterious Room, but not on the outside. Cultivating in the Mysterious Room was better than cultivating outside. Ezio felt that he could gather Qi and Mana faster when he was cultivating in the room. But he could only do so when he was in a safe environment because his spiritual perception was weaker when he was in the Mysterious Room.
There were also more Realms explained in the Myriad Element's Roaring Manual, but this manual wasn't covering them all. The first Realm was Mana Gathering Realm. Like Qi Cultivation, it was recommended to start Mana Gathering Meditation, at the age of 9. Unlike Qi Cultivation, to gather Mana, one needed talent. Mana was harder to perceive and cultivators must be compatible with the Mana.
At the age of 11, one would need to create a Mana Pool with all the mana accumulated. This realm was named Mana Pool Creation. The bigger the pool, the smoother the following breakthroughs would be. Legends said, if one had enough Mana before one created Mana Pool, they could condense it as large as an ocean. But it would also make the next two realms harder to break through because for the fourth realm, Mana solidication Realm, one would need to solidify the Mana in the pool, and if there is more Mana, the harder it would be to solidify them all.
Mana Crystallization Realm as well would require more effort. But if one could pass through these two obstacles, he would be invincible in the same cultivation realm. But those would be worries for the coming years.
After peeping at women, Ezio left the artificial lake and went to his room to get some sleep. Normally, disciples of the sect would always have chores to do, but he was free of this drudgery. Because he started to gather Qi as soon as he started to meditate when he was 9 years old, most of the Elders of the sect admired his talent and gave him some privileges. Also, Abbot was like a father to him, making it easier for him to dilly dally around.
Of course, there were exceptions. Some of the Supreme Elders who could dare to question Abbot himself and their jealous descendants were always picking on him when he was alone. They would mostly be beaten black and blue, but sometimes their seniors would try to beat Ezio to avenge them. But fortunately, Ezio had a godly artifact that they could never even imagine, so he could evade them most of the time.
Ezio normally wouldn't sleep early and study in the library most of the time, but tomorrow was his birthday, and he had to start his Qi Vortex Creation in front of all the big guns, thus he would have no time to start his Mana Pool Creation. He was planning to wake up in the middle of the night and break through the Mana Pool Creation Realm, and later in the day finish the Qi Vortex Creation.
These two stages were especially important. Breaking through to Qi Vortex Creation Realm also was the only opportunity to discover and regenerate the meridians. And one wouldn't have any other chance to rediscover them.
