Chapter 10: What is this Presence?

As he was wrapping up his injuries, he thought, 'if I lose any more blood, it will affect me in my battl-'
"Shit!" Bryan quickly stopped what he was doing and raised his axe to block two slashes coming toward him, and promptly used his hammer to send one of the two agents flying to the wall of the house, knocking his breath out and making him fall unconscious.
"Die!" Bryan said as he slashed with his axe and killed the other agent in the room.
He then walked toward the unconscious and tried to kill him, only for the other 2 agents to jump into the building and engage him in battle.
Because of the small space in the room, the spear user couldn't use his spear well, so the other agent needed to cover for him until he could take the sword of their fallen comrade.
"Jajaja!" Bryan laughed as he grabbed the spear and pulled the agent toward his incoming hammer, slamming him so hard that his head popped like a balloon.
And getting the other agent covered in blood as he slashed at Bryan's chest twice and made an 'X' shape on Bryan's chest that started to bleed.
"Die!" the agent did not stop as he tried to cut off Bryan's head, but Bryan acted quickly and blocked it with his axe, and at the same time, he tried to slam his hammer on the agent's head.
The agent dodged sideways and then slashed at Bryan's waist. At that exact time, the two sniper agents enter the room, raise their guns, and point at the bleeding man.
"Enough!" Bryan said as he blocked a slash with his axe while slamming his hammer on the ground with all his strength.
The hit by the hammer made the floor break, and the house shook violently to the point it couldn't hold and started to break apart.
Because the sniper agents had just arrived, they were still near the exit, so they quickly jumped out and ran away.
But unfortunately, the other two agents weren't as lucky because one of them was unconscious, and the other was grabbed by Bryan and thrown to the floor underneath them.
"Ahhh!" the agent screamed as a rock fell on him, killing him in a painful way.
After throwing the agent, Bryan quickly ran toward a window and jumped out as the building got wrecked.
Bang! Bang!
Bang! Bang!
'Shit!' but what met Bryan was four gunshots that he fell on his arms which he quickly raised to protect his fatal organs.
As soon as he landed on his knee, he quickly stood up and threw his hammer and axe at the two agents.
The agents were exhausted and didn't think he would throw his weapons. One acted quickly. He squatted and then rolled sideways, but the other one was too tired and couldn't react swiftly and got cut in half by Bryan's axe.
'So this is how it ends... getting cut in half...' those were the last thought of the agent as he fell to the floor and died with a bitter smile.
After throwing his weapons, Bryan ran behind his weapons in case one of them didn't die, so when he saw one of the agents rolling out of the way of his hammer, he jumped on him and started to punch the agent's face.
Thud! thud! Thud!
"AHHH!" One punch after the other, the agent tried to raise his hand to cover his face, but Bryan quickly grabbed one of them and punched the joint with all of his force, making the arm bend in the wrong direction and resulting in a sharp snap from the bone signaling that it broke.
Thud! thud! Thud!
"Plea.. thud! Sto... thud I don.. 't thud! Wa.. nt to sob.. thud! Sob. Thud! Thud! Thud! sob.. die.."Bryan resumed punching after breaking the agent's arm. He punched and punched and punched as the agent was begging for his alive until the only sound that could be heard was Bryan's fist hitting the dead agent.
Thud! thud...
Thud...
"Huff... Huff... Huff..." When Bryan stopped punching the face of the agent and raised his hand, which was covered in blood and human flesh, the agent's face that he hit became an unrecoverable blob of flesh and blood.
He then looked at his arms and the blob of flesh and then at the sky while laughing bitterly, "Huff... Jajajaja, that was.... close."
Bryan's entire surrounding was covered in corpses and destroyed streets, building, and houses which were either done by the B. W with cannonballs or gunshot.
Or done by his hands...
'Jajaja, Wherever I go, destruction follows...' Bryan thought as he looked at his surroundings with a bitter smile.
He then inspected his injuries, he got hit by 6 gunshots, one big wound on his shoulder, and slashes on his chest, and he lost a lot of blood.
After he finished his inspection, he started to wrap his injuries while thinking, 'Is everybody okay...'
After a while, he finished wrapping up his injuries. He stood up and walked past the men he killed in the direction of the bar.
....
Mr.1 repeatedly disappeared and reappeared around Zoro. Because of how fast he was going, he started to make clones of himself. It started with one, and then two... five... ten... And more and more clones started to surround Zoro.
"Atomic Dicer!/Atomic Dicer!" Mr. 1 and his clones yelled at the same time. He used his already spread arms to unleash many slashes toward Zoro from all directions.
'Shit! looks like I will need to try that move...' Zoro thought, his eyes widening, but it quickly changed to an intense look.
Zoro quickly took his battle stance. He bent one knee and had one arm behind his head and the other pointing toward Mr.1 as he was thinking. 'but will it work...'
"Three swords style: Dragon Twister," Zoro yelled as he switched the position of his arms with each other, with so much force that it made the air around him make a small tornado around him.
'hmm... again!' Zoro thought while trying not to gasp in pain. When some of Mr. 1's attacks landed on his body, he once again moved his arms with all of his strength and made the small Tornado into a larger one.
"Dragon Twister!" Zoro yelled out as he was getting cut all over his body, a bloody mess. He switched the position of his arms with each other with all of his strength and made the small Tornado into one that covered him from mr.1 slash.
"Interesting trick, but what if I did this, Rankyaku!!(Tempest kick)" Mr.1 said as he was looking at the Tornado. He transformed his legs and arms into blades and sent large air slashes.
He did this while using Soru(Shave), which had his clone send the air blades from around Zoro.
When the Air Blades Bombarded the Tornado that Zoro made, it shook it violently and made some parts disappear, but it stayed firm, not letting any air blades reach Zoro.
'At this rate, my attack will break!' Zoro thought. In this moment of life or death, Zoro felt or heard something weird while in the Tornado.
Wuzz... Wuzz!
'is this coming from my swords?' Zoro looked at his swords and saw a lot of cracks and dents on them.
'No, it is coming from everything... what is this?' Zoro thought as he closed his eyes and tried to listen/feel what he had felt or heard before.
When he did, he felt some kind of presence in everything from everything, the earth beneath his feet, the air around him, and even his swords.
But before he grasped what he felt, the Tornado that was protecting him broke apart by the air blade, with some of them flying toward the swordsman whose eyes were closed.
"Why is he not moving? did he give up?" Mr.1 saw that Zoro didn't move as the attack was coming closer, and he even closed his eyes.
When the air blades were about to hit Zoro, he moved one step back and dodged the first one. And then, in the same manner he evaded the other with his eyes closed.
"..." Mr.1 was so shocked that he stopped sending more attacks.
"How did you dodge all of them!?" Mr.1 asked with sweat falling down on his face.
'dodge all his attacks? No... I knew... I knew which place the attack would go,' Zoro thought as he looked at the slash marks on the ground.
'i've had this feeling before... when everything around me becomes quiet.. and my own heartbeat beats loudly as a drum... this is the boundary between life and death...' Zoro thought while looking at his sword.
He then tried to remember when the air blades were coming at him, and he felt a presence ' I can sense a presence in them... as if they are living things... no, not presence... something more definite... almost like a...' he looked at the rock that was next to him and then he realized something.

RayDKing Hello everyone, the author here.
I just wanted to tell you that this bonus chapter, and that what you guessed it's right, Zoro used Observation Haki when he dodged Mr.1 attacks.
I have been rereading the fight between Zoro and Mr.1 in the manga a hundred times for this story.
And what always puzzles me, is how did he dodge those rocks, in the manga, it is written that he knew where they would fall.
That is why I have decided that what he used there was observation Haki but he forget or wasn't able to grasp it.
So don't worry that he would learn Haki this early in the story, and enjoy the story.
