Chapter 3: FEEL LONELY
Even though there are maids or household assistants in her luxurious house, Arini doesn't always rely on household assistants for this one work. That is to serve the needs of her husband. When Rini and Asih are cooking for dinner tonight. They were having fun talking in the kitchen. Turns out they were talking about Mr Salim and his wife, Mrs Arini.
"Rin, I think lately Mr Salim rarely comes home. Sometimes he comes home late at night. And sometimes Mr Salim comes home when Mrs Arini is fast asleep." Asih said.
"Yes, Madame looked sad yesterday when She was packing Mr Salim's clothes in the suitcase. It seems that Mrs Arini found something that surprised her." Reni replied.
"It's even worse when the mother-in-law and sister-in-law ask about pregnancy while they are at the dinner table. I think If we as women are being questioned about fertility sure we can be offended and sad ." Asih said with a cynical face.
"Yes, but let's just pray that Mr Salim and Mrs Arini's household will be fine. I hope his wife will get pregnant soon." Reni said praying.
Arini is indeed very humble and kind to all the household assistants in her magnificent house. Often, She gives gifts to them when Arini returns from abroad. Arini is a very friendly and gentle demeanour, her generous demeanour made all the maids like him. Unlike Merve, Arini's sister-in-law who seems arrogant, bitchy and also stingy.
Merve never had a warm conversation with the housekeepers. Comes only when commanding them to do something. Very different from Arini.
Dinner time has arrived. Everyone in the had gathered at the dining table, except for Salim. He was the only one who was not at the dining table. This morning he said goodbye to his wife late. He said there was a meeting outside until the evening. Mrs Serra, Arini's mother-in-law, sits next to Merve. Meanwhile, Arini was sitting on a chair at the end facing the two of them.
"Why is Salim not home at this time of night?" Asked her mother-in-law while looking at Arini's face.
"This morning my husband said wanted to have a meeting with a client until evening Mom!" Arini replied.
Merve suddenly answered their conversation and said, "Salim is rarely seen at Mom's house lately. Maybe he's too bored at home, Mom! it's different when his wife is pregnant. Maybe He's more comfortable at home. More caring, and pamper his wife more!"
"You should be pregnant! Have you ever been to a doctor?" Said her mother-in-law.
"Yes, Mom! Arini has been to the obstetrician with my husband before. The doctor said that we are both healthy and fertile. Maybe it's not time for us to be trusted by God, Mom!" Arini replied with a sad face.
Merve likes to affect her mother when discussing heredity with Salim and Arini. Merve is Salim's half-sister. Merve is the sister of his mother's first husband. Merve wants to control the inheritance of his father Salim. In front of Salim looks very sweet. But behind him, She is plotting evil that Salim doesn't know.
Hearing the words of her mother-in-law and sister-in-law, her heart ached and held back her sadness. She could only be silent and accept their words. After dinner, She rushed to her room. In that room, She shed her tears alone. She wanted to ask her husband to move out of that magnificent house. But, that's almost impossible. Because Salim loves his mother. There was no way he could leave his mother.
Drrttt...drrttt...! (phone vibrates)
A message from her husband told her that he couldn't go home that night, because her husband have meeting was held at the summit. And Salim will likely stay again for a few days at the summit. The suffering of this beautiful woman is complete. When she needed her husband's shoulder to lean on and share her sadness, the man was not by her side.
Arini had to spend the night alone. It feels so lonely and sad.
Maybe the reason is not a meeting with a client, but a meeting with his secret lover. That's exactly what the true reason billionaire guy is. Having fun making out and being alone with a girl. Things that his wife had not known so far. Their relationship has crossed the line. A single woman should not date a married man.
"I love you, darling!" Sabrina said as she rested her head on the billionaire man's broad chest.
"Me too, honey! I don't think I can stay away from you. I want to be by your side all the time." Salim said while kissing Sabrina's forehead.
"How's your wife, honey? Does she know of our relationship?" Sabrina said.
I haven't thought about it. She doesn't know yet. Let's not talk about this anymore. Let's talk about something else." Salim replied.
"Honey, I want to change jobs, okay? How about I become your assistant? Later, I will take care of all your needs. How about it?" Sabrina said.
"Didn't I tell you to resign from that karaoke place? Was what I gave you so far not enough? Luxury cars, luxury apartments, money. Still not enough?" Said Salim with a tense face.
"That's not what I mean, honey! Everything is enough and nothing less! I just want to be by your side, honey. So, we don't have to hide anymore. If I become your assistant then there is reason to be with you every day. . Without having to be suspected by your wife." Sabrina explained to the man.
