Chapter 7: Him

Ian laid on a tombona and sipped a glass of orange cocktail at the pool. He came to the hotel along with his mom for a meeting with some executives at the orphanage. Bea had been begging him to donate money to fund the kids highschool education and after signing the check her decided to waste the rest of the afternoon at the pool.

He wore a pair of blue and a matching pair of black sun glasses to suit the occasion. He laid there and enjoyed the heat of the sun and the view of some elites enjoying themselves.

He took off his glasses when his gaze landed on a particular girl who looked a little bit familiar. His jaw dropped the second she came out of the pool, she was wearing a red swimsuit which perfectly highlighted her slim curvaceous body to make matters worse she swung her wet hair twice and the devil if possible a being higher than the devil tempted him to go to her.

But he suddenly remembered his bet with Niel, he couldn't let his feelings conquer him, he had flagged off a few girls who came to meet him earlier but he wasn't going to let this goddess from heaven slip away - it would make him live in regret forever. This was the first time that he was the magnet and not the other way around but she was already seducing him with her gorgeous looks.

He looked around - just to confirm if Niel won't just drop from the pit of hell and finally approached the girl who was sitting down close to the pool and using her legs to play with the water.

"Umm...hi" he muttered, waving and all the girls in the water and surface glared at the girl, they've been trying to gain that hottie's attention since their legs walked into the building but whatever spell she casted on him was really effective.

She raised her head to look at Ian and he suddenly felt weak in his knees , she was even more beautiful from this view. He wanted to talk again but the power of her beauty and her body made him speechless.

A guy who just came in walked up to both of them.

"Hi," he said and Ian felt like breaking the man's neck.

"Hey, wanna go out and have a drink?" the man added with a smile and Ian balled his fists in rage. The girl looked at both of them and returned her gaze back to the water.

"Hey, I've been trying to talk to this chic for like hours now, what the hell did you say to her?" the other guy yelled in an angry tone, using his finger to poke Ian's chest.

Ian looked at him in pure rage and punched him hard on his cheek which sent a few of his molars into the water, Ian got on him and punched him repeatedly until they landed in the water.

Squeals from the bikini babes in the pool filled the air as they ran for their their lives but one peculiar noise startled Ian instead of running the girl was laughing at the two of them.

The other guy was almost unconscious but listening to the girl's laughter made Ian calm down and let him go, even if he was almost half dead the man thanked his creator because a few seconds Ian looked blood thirsty and he wouldn't mind murdering him right there.

Her laughter had some sort of therapeutic effect attached to it even better than any song Tania recommended on normal occasions when his fights got into a pool or water body two things were involved; he almost drowns the person or the victim is taken to the hospital as a half-dead corpse and this girl would have earned a slap by now but he didn't have the urge to slap or hurt her. She stopped laughing when she noticed he was staring at her.

"Freeze!"the voice of the police officer echoed and Ian raised his hands to surrender without any objections.

"Gary, the police couldn't create any better catchphrase but freeze? Literally, your estimated amount of freezes said in year would be about a million...damn there should be something like a world record,"

" You -"

"Have the right to remain silent sure," he stated, cutting Gary off.

Ian turned to take a glimpse of the girl before he left, a lady was with her this time and she was explaining things to an officer whilst the girl drew imaginary circles on the floor with her toe.

The other girl was taken to the hospital via an ambulance, Bea ran down from her hotel room when she heard the news, she angrily glared a him in disappointment and went back to pack her things. She came there to have a peaceful time with Ivy and a few kids from the orphanage but Ian always had a way of exhibiting his gift.

"I'm tired of him,Anika..I just regret having that boy this is the fifteenth time at the police station, the fifteenth time this month! And you saw the headlines last time..'The devil of the business world ,strikes again!' I'm fed up with him..I just wish..I just wish he was dead!"Bea yelled in the car, she was completely pissed off so Anika didn't let her drive.

Ian was released that evening after paying the man's hospital bills and his fines, Bea left the house to go anywhere worthy of calming her down with Anika. Anika drove to a park and stopped the car at the entrance.

"I know you don't mean that Bea, what Ian needs is your love and support to keep him going and to strengthen him, remember that old saying - everyone needs to be loved at some point in their lives."

" I'm tired of loving him, I really am, "

" Well, it's funny you find it funny and Ivy doesn't,"

" What do you mean? " She asked, sitting upright.

" I was watching them from my room Ian approached her and -"
