"Are you being serious right now?" Laura asked in a bit of an annoying voice, but Jasmine wasn't affected at all. 

She understood the situation and how Laura felt. It was basically clear that Laura was jealous and that she was also deeply in love!

"Yes, I am. Lim is devastated right now. He can't stop calling on Charles for help because everything he does won't work for you," Jasmine said.

"I think you need to consider his situation and forgive him. Sleeping with Tiana was already in his past, and there's nothing between them again."

Laura took a deep breath and let it out. She couldn't believe Jasmine was taking his side. She was her best friend and Jasmine should have taken her side instead of Lim's when there was no connection between them!
