Chapter 2: So... crazy women are a thing

Was I angry at the Parallel devil?

More than I have ever been at anything in my entire life.

Was I angry because he lied to me?

Not really no. At least not anymore.

Then what could I possibly be angry about?

Well, I am fucking livid because the bastard just went quiet and left me in this hell of a world by myself! Of course that anger was slowly being replaced by fear. Not to the Parallel devil, mind you, no... I was growing fucking terrified of 'her'.

"Darling!" exclaimed the woman in front of me, her figure showed pretty much everything I loved in a girl, only to be ruined by her eyes and smile, both of which showed nothing more than insanity. "You are thinking something mean about me again, aren't you?" she asked, her tone forming an odd combination between excited and angry, and I couldn't help but curse at the fact that I couldn't control my facial expressions, which is how I assume she is seeing through me. God why are the crazy ones the most perceptive? My parents haven't noticed anything wrong with me so far, so why does she!

I was a baby for god's sake, stuck in a crib, unable to move or even complain, and this woman just keeps asking questions, almost as if she knew I understand them.

"Ahnnn, I can't wait for you to grow up my darling!" she said while slightly moaning, her hands moving slowly over her blonde hair while her smile grew so far her lips seemed they would break. "We will be together, and we will live forever! Just you and me, it will be amazing darling!"

Yeah, I have a yandere taking care of me, and she keeps taking about marriage in the form of a contract like I wouldn't run away as soon as I could. Before she could say anything else I heard footsteps outside my room, slowly getting closer to my doorstep, which seemed to pull her eyes away from me and focus her attention on the door, which would open soon. Unlike her however, my gaze didn't move. My eyes remained focus on her face as I watched her turn from one filled with love, however obsessive and insane it was, to one that could barely fit all the rage in the world. As usual, I couldn't help but worry and wonder, stuck in my useless body, if today was finally the day she would slaughter my new family.

"Fucking pieces of shit," she grumbled, pure venom lacing her words. "They are lucky I don't know anything about human children, so they get to live and take care of you for now…"

'Wait a fucking second, did you just say human children?' I thought to myself as my eyes widened. 'This psycho doesn't even see herself as a human! Of course I don't think of her as a human either, but that's more because she is clearly a pedophile and looks creepy as fuck with the whole insanity vibe she has, but why she doesn't think of herself as a human?!'

Before I could panic any further I heard the door open, and in an instant 'she' had vanished.

"Hey there, little guy," said my dad as he entered the room. There was amusement clear in his tone, but the undertone of worry was also clear. "I heard noises in here, are you trying to learn how to speak?"

That… was a convenient excuse. It would be kind of bad if he thought someone broke in and decided to keep me in his room or something, because I am sure that 'she' would just kill them then and there for keeping me away from her or something.

"Blahh blagh brahg" I babbled, discarding whatever tiny bit of pride I had and playing the role of a little brat trying to say his first words.

The worry that was on his eyes vanished and an excited expression appeared on his face. "Yessss!" he exclaimed happily. "You are totally trying to say 'dad' aren't you? Yes you are! Come on, I am going to totally win the bet with your mother! Your first words will totally be dad!"

He was in the middle of his rant when I felt a shiver run down my spine. My throat tightened as if there was a hand wrapped around it, asphyxiating me. The feeling of my lungs stopping reminded me all to much of the way my lungs also ignored my pleas last time. Tears formed on the corners of my eyes and I let out a screech.

The feeling of having my heart stop returned, even if it was only a phantom pain, and that was all the excuse my baby body needed to break down in sobs and screams. I doubt I would be much better off even if I was an adult, but I would like to think I wouldn't be crying. Perhaps I would be sweating and with my knees on the floor, desperately panting for air... alright, that isn't much better.

"Ahhh, sorry sorry!" said my dad, picking me up and placing me on his chest. I could tell he was panicking at my sudden outburst, but I couldn't stop it. In fact I could barely think at all. The feeling of my heart stopping threw my entire being into chaos.

As my dad brought my out of my room, I saw 'her' below my crib, wearing a frown on her face as her eyes glowed in rage.

'She... she is one of the devils, isn't she?' I wondered as the panic I was feeling increased.

.

"Happy birthday!" said dad with a happy expression as mom brought the cake to the table. It is rather strange having a different birthday all of a sudden. Before, I was born on spring, and now here I was born on winter, the 18th of November to be precise, and we were celebrating my first birthday.

My fingers moved to my left eye, the one that should have been taken by the 'Parallel Devil'. It had been a year now, and I was finally regaining my body functions, which meant that the reasons as for why the devil hadn't shown up were narrowing. Originally I thought that he simply didn't want to appear in the body of a baby, because that would have been boring, but now that I can finally start to do things like crawl? Well... he probably isn't as excited by that as I am, so maybe it makes sense for him to still not show up.

Well, my thoughts lasted right up until I tasted the cake, my first cake in this world, and immediately threw up.

"Puahahahahah!" laughed my dad while looking at mom. "It appears that your tuna with strawberry cake isn't good at all my dear!"

Her what now?!
