Chapter 21: Watch Closely

Natasha raised a brow at his question. It felt amusing that he was asking who the man with her was. He never cared about that in the past so why would he ask her that now that they were more distant than strangers to each other?

Even Nigel could not believe the question that he had asked and the way it sounded. It felt so wrong that he felt wronged by seeing Natasha with another man. But he could not help feeling threatened by the man with her right now. Not just for the woman who was once his but also for reasons that he had yet to grasp.

They shared an intense gaze that was enough to turn the loud music around them into a far and distant background sound that no one paid attention to.

A smile appeared on Natasha's lips as she answered. "My Angel of Salvation." Nigel frowned at her words even Reaper looked at her with an amused look.

"He got you out," Nigel stated. He remembered his discovery when he went to search the room and he could not believe that the man in front of him now was the one who had broken the chains and taken her out of there. But if he was not then who was he and why was holding her the way he was?

"Yes," Natasha said putting a stop to his many unspoken questions. Nigel moved his gaze from her to look at the man, maintaining his eyes on him for three seconds, he looked away not able to continue to stare into the eyes that seemed to be staring at his soul. His eye caught sight of Natasha's hand as he placed them in the man's hand that was around her waist and he glared at her.

He hated how right she looked in another man's arms but at the same time, it was right. He had another reason to be mad at her. "We are but divorced and you are with another man already." He said with irritation and annoyance in his voice.

"We were married yet you did what you did to me and my family." Natasha retorted. She was annoyed by his presence in here and would have been more than to have killed right there and then, but where was the fun in that? Dying now would be too easy a penalty for him. He deserved a lot more they just die.

"Come home with me," Nigel said. He looked at the man to see his reaction but his face remained expressionless without the slightest bit of change. He also wondered why he had not said anything for so long and allowed Natasha to do all the talking.

"I have a home to go back to, and it's not with you," Natasha said and turned to look at Reaper. "I don't want to stay here anymore, let's go home." She said and he gave her a nod.

"You either come with me or you won't leave this place alive," Nigel said when he saw they were about to leave.

Natasha chuckled at his threat. She stopped and turned to look at him and said, "I dare you to stop us." she said with confidence in her tone. A smirk appeared on her face, something that Nigel and his bodyguard were seeing for the first time.

Draper just aside and let her do whatever she wanted. All he knew was that it did not matter if any of them were to die yet because if they tried to hurt her, they would die. He had promised to protect her and that was what he was going to do. He may be a devil, but he and Natasha had struck a deal and that was all that mattered.

Nigel's eyes flared at her dare and he suffered at the sight of the smirk. He was both infuriated and afraid leaving him conflicted and unsure of what to do. There was something about her threat that they sent red lights and a warning to his head. He looked at two of his bodyguards and ordered, "Take her, she is coming with us." He said and ignored the warning in his head.

The bodyguards nodded and stepped forward to take her. Something happened that shocked Nigel and the remaining two bodyguards forcing them to take a few steps back with horror in their eyes.

The moment they touched her arms to take her away, they dropped to the floor with their eyes turning lifeless instantly and staring blankly at the ceiling. Natasha looked at the dead bodies with a bored gaze and then looked at Nigel with the same boredom in her eyes.

The sight of her like was scary to Nigel and his bodyguards. She watched as she crossed her legs over the bodies on the floor and walked toward them. They instinctively took backward steps as she approached. "What did you do?" Nigel forced his voice out to ask.

"What did I do?" Natasha asked with an innocent look in her eyes and blinked innocently at him.

For the first time, Nigel was truly fearful of Natasha. The woman standing in front of him now looked so different from the one whom he knew. She would scream and run away from sight such as what lay behind her but this Natasha right now crossed her legs and walked over them with a look that was more innocent than that of a saint.

"That?" She asked and smiled. "That was a little present for you, Nigel," she said and stopped in front of him. "I warned you before, I told you to be careful and, I told you that your time was running out." She said looming him in the eyes. She raised her hand to touch his cheek when one of his guards caught hold of her hand.

Her eyes snapped to look at him and she glared sharply at him which made him shiver but still refused to let go of her and even when we tried to pull it back to her side. "Let go." She commanded but he was stubborn. He caught her hand and nothing happened and that was all that he needed to be courageous and death to the woman home with them. If the man with her tried to intervene he would be taken care of as well.

"It's his time," Reaper spoke for the first time since Nigel arrived on their floor. Nigel's head snapped to look at the direction from which the voice came. The coldness that he felt with only those three words spoken was alarming. He felt a bill run down his spine even when he was not the one whom the voice was directed at. "Take him." He said again and Natasha smiled at the foolish bodyguard who was about to meet his end.

Seeing her smile and the words of the man the guard got fearful and let go of her but she took a step closer to him with the smile that had started to creep him out. She suddenly increased her speed and ran her hand into his suit's inner pocket.

Nigel watched from behind the other bodyguard as Natasha found the rather that was hidden in one of the pockets of the now stunned guard and held it firmly and stabbed his stomach immediately without fully pulling it away from him. Nigel was beyond stunned to see that. She looked possessed as she did everything so fluently like an expert would do.

The man whom she had stabbed fell on his knees and coughed out blood. He clutched his stomach trying hard to stop it from bleeding which proved futile because the blood just kept on running and seeping through his fingers and pooling on the tiled floor underneath him.

As if that was not shocking enough, Natasha walked behind him and held his head with her left arm. When he tried to push her away, she stabbed his shoulder making him muffle an agonizing scream. She locked with Nigel's wide eyes as he watched everything that she did behind his only surviving bodyguard. "Watch closely Nigel, this is similar to how you murdered them." She said and ran the danger across his neck.

The body dropped to the floor lifelessly with a thud sound while she held his head in her hand and made the face look in the direction of Nigel and his bodyguard. Blood spattered from it and stained her yellow blouse and stickers on her feet soaked in the blood on the floor. She then threw the head and it rolled to Nigel's feet before she turned around to leave.

Getting to Reaper, she took his extended arm and they both disappeared from the club leaving Nigel and a petrified bodyguard starting at the three dead bodies that now lay on the floor which they had to clean up before someone else came to see.

With everything that had happened, it was a thing of great surprise that no one else came up to the second or those that were closer did not turn to look in their direction and he did not know how long that would last now that Natasha and the man were both gone.

This happening only left him questioning who that man with Natasha was.
