After dying, Will found himself floating; floating in endless darkness. It was like he was omnipresent.
He could feel everything but nothing...
'Fuck!! Do all souls go through this??'

After what seemed an infinite amount of time, he saw some light.
'Is...is that li..light!!' he saw light; something he felt like he always wanted to see...
He 'dragged' his body towards the source without even thinking about the consequences. It was like a hungry beast running towards its prey. After reaching almost near the source of light he felt warm; he felt something different;
After the white light blinded him. He came across a new beautiful scene; he was flying over an endless land full of crystal clear water and crystal clear sky. It was calming...
'Is this heaven....' he could not even appreciate the beauty of the place when he saw something or rather someone...
The man looked like he was or is in his 40s. He had a handsome face with silvery white hair and oceanic blue eyes, sharp sword-like eyebrows, and a lean muscular physique. Same as him...
'WHERE AM I...???'
'WHO ARE Y...YOU..??' Will asked cause he felt oddly familiar with this entity.
That weird feeling of completion. the feeling he always wanted to feel.
'N...no IMPOSSIBLE...'
'Y..YOU ARE M...ME!!!'
After hearing that the other man did not say anything but had a faint smile on his handsome but tired face. Though that smile answered Will's question.
"WAIT... WHAT... HOW... No.. this is so.."
"Confusing" completed the man. His voice carried wisdom like his eyes.
"You are me and I am you" the man did not let Will ask anything, he continued; After some time he said again.
"Our soul was split in half, And both halves of our soul lived different lives in separate different worlds. Now we meet; my other half."
"So you are saying that we are..... I...I see.
How come we meet now..??" Will asked with a nervous voice.
"Ohh that ... that is because... the CAVE.. wait I don't remember anything about the cave now...
Sigh...hmm no I do remember the techniques I got" the man mumbled to himself.
This proved that both had similar personalities; Both love to talk to themselves.
"Wait you don't even remember what got us together or what split us in the first place "
"How would I know?? Cultivation is mysterious. to reach greater heights we have to slowly solve those mysteries." the man answered indifferently.
"Yeah, Cultivation is myst....SORRY SAY WHAT NOW!!
CULTIVATION IS REAL!!" Will did not read a lot but he had some knowledge about these fiction genres. This time he was thoroughly surprised not that other things did not surprise him.

Saying this Will from 'Earth' was amused while 'cultivation Will' only raised his eyebrow no more.

With that merging of souls began...
"LET'S REACH THE PEAK AND LIVE A FULFILLING LIFE WITHOUT REGRETS"
With that merging of souls was completed and for the first time in both lives both the 'Wills' felt COMPLETED

let me clear something. Our 'MC' is the one from 'Earth' but now he has also lived a life in the cultivation world. He experienced everything like a regression story which will be explained in the next chapter.
So there are no two souls...
only one soul...
