Chapter Twenty-six
Iris's point of view
I can't believe I disorganized my room all in the name of a date outfit. But why did big sis ask me to wear this? These clothes look small but pretty.
I fall in love with Angela the first time I set my eye on her because she has a sense of fashion and her character. 'I hope she regains her memories soon.' I she to myself as I move to the dressing mirror. I check my reflection in the mirror and I can't believe what I see. OMG!! this cloth fit perfectly well on me, and this dress brings out my killer shape. I can't believe that I'm staring at my reflection in the mirror.
I comb my hair down and taking one glance at my reflection, I pick up my red handbag which is lying on the bed, I hung it across my shoulder before I finally leave the room.
I enter the sitting and see big sis and David talking about something, they both look up immediately they acknowledge my presence. Big sis had a big smile on her face with a smirk. While David opens his mouth widely in shock. David can be a drama king sometimes.
"Big sis, see you later. "I wave with a smile and face David.
"Proud monkey, see you later. " I say and blow him a kiss.
I was surprised to see David rush after me with his car key.
"Going somewhere?" I ask
"No, mind if I am your driver for today?" he asked and I look at him with a big shock. Did David hit his head on something or what? I move closer to him and check his temperature, but his temperature is okay. What is wrong with him? why is he behaving abnormally suddenly? David I know we never help. Is he high on something? I remember the last time I asks him to drive me to my workplace, he told me if I can't drive that I should get a cab. But why did he change toward me suddenly?
"Are you okay David?" I ask because he usually picks on me.
"Yes. "he replied simply and signal me to enter the car but I stand like a statue.
"Enter before I change my mind. "he said and I enter the car. I gives him the address and he drove straight to the location.
"Are you going on a date?" he asked
"Yes, while did you ask?" I ask
"I know your date must be very ugly. "he said and I laugh out loud.
"Only if you know that I'm going out with the hottest gay in my department. "I say as the matter of the truth. James is a very good-looking guy, almost all the female workers were crushing on him. Excluding me, because I hate playboy.
"I know I'm hotter than your date. "he said and I roll my eyes.
"In your dream. "I reply dramatically which makes him hiss out loud. But the truth is I don't know who is hotter between David and James
We arrive at the location, and I see James waiting for me already. He walked closer to me with surprise written all over his face. He pulls me into a hug
"You are the most beautiful lady in the whole world. "he whisper into my ear which makes me blush red. We enter the restaurant and he pulls a chair out for me to sit as a gentleman.
The waiter came to take our orders and we were served accordingly. James is a very lively person I must admit, but the only thing I don't like about him is the way he touches me, though I didn't complain because I don't want to spoil our date. I suddenly feel pressed so I excuse myself.
I finish with my business in the restroom and come out, I was surprised to see an angry David at the entrance of the toilet waiting for me.
"Stop stalking at me Proud monkey. "I say and he moves closer to me, and I move back to an unknown reason. He keeps moving till my back hit the wall. He cages me to the wall and looks straight into my eyes.
"Why did you allow him to touch you like that?" he asked looking into my eyes.
"What did you mean?" I ask nervously
"I can't take it anymore Iris!! I'm in love with you I hate it when any other man touches you, I hate it when you smile with another man that is not me. "He shouts and I look at him like he lost it. I want to talk but he put his finger on my lips. He pulls me closer and places his lips on mine and kissed me affectionately. I tried to push him but he's too strong, I don't even know when I open up for him and we devour each other's lips. I push and give him a thundering slap when I came back to my sense. I rush out of the toilet. Though out of my date with James, all I could think is about David confessing and the kiss we share, I can't believe I kissed him back. Gosh!! I'm going crazy.
The ride back home is silent and no one is ready to talk. I jump out of the car and rush to the main building. I open the door only to welcome by my big sis, who looks worried.
"Welcome big sis. "I say and David also enters, I tried to leave the sitting room but the big sis question stops me.
"Who am I?" she asked and I look back immediately.
"Who is Princeton to me?" she asked and I froze immediately.
