Chapter 19: Luciferr on Chonos

[It displays your real name, and it cannot be changed even if you fake your identity, but since you now identify yourself as Luciferr it has changed. It also protects you from any type of power or magic that targets anyone by name or appearance.
When any being who is not your enemy hears your name, he/she/it/they will have a faint but good impression of you. But if your enemies hear your name, it will evoke a sense of deep fear, terror, dread, fright, horror, panic, and many other negative emotions.
Those with strong enough Mental Will can shrug off its effects.
5 Year Time Skip
Luciferr had been traveling through space for what felt like a lifetime. He had visited countless planets, some vibrant and full of beauty, others barren and lifeless. Luciferr sat in the cockpit of his spacecraft, staring at the vast expanse of space before him. He had been traveling for five years and had seen wonders beyond imagining.
He was exploring another planet named Chonos II. He was just about to land when he suddenly heard the sound of an explosion. This disturbed Luciferr, who immediately went into stealth mode, stopping his ship, activating all camouflage settings, turning off all life support systems, and locking down all navigation controls. He quickly turned around to see nothing but the endlessness of space.
However, moments later, he saw something shimmering out of the corner of his eye. He then zoomed in on the shimmering objects, which were ships, and soon after seeing the other ships, he spotted something strange on the horizon. Luciferr slowly brought up his telescope and looked through it, and what he saw shocked him, as he saw some sort of creature he did not recognize flying across the landscape.
The creature, or rather, the aliens, were flying in formation, their tails shooting in front of them in different directions, sometimes hovering. Luciferr kept looking at the aliens, who seemed to be following some sort of pattern, probably moving forward or perhaps returning to base. What puzzled Luciferr even more was the fact that they weren't attacking anything, instead choosing to avoid things.
It was almost as if they were peaceful creatures. Luciferr stared at the aliens intently, not sure whether to shoot them or try to find out more about them. A sound like static filled the air, followed by an eerie chorus of howls. The alien ships started firing a lot more, seemingly attempting to destroy the alien ships that were chasing them. A few of the aliens started losing altitude and crashed into the ground.
Luciferr wondered why the aliens would attack, as if they wanted to destroy themselves. After about ten minutes of this carnage, the alien ships stopped firing, lowered themselves to the ground, and collected the dead bodies. They then took to the air once again and moved towards a specific location.
Luciferr curiously looked at this scene and then, with some hesitation, decided to follow them. Soon, he saw the alien spaceships stop. When he looked closely, he saw that the place at which they stopped looked like a sacrifice altar used for rituals he had seen in the movies. The spaceship then started taking out the dead bodies and placing them on the altar one by one.
When all the bodies were placed, an old-looking alien came forward and started speaking. Fortunately, because of the Universal Translator and the zooming function of the spaceship, he was able to lipread what he was saying.
"This is the beginning of a new era. Our Magic, bestowed upon us by our God, will make us stronger than we can all imagine. I, Jekka Kwan, the elder of the Chonos race, sacrifice all these brave soldiers of our race to you, our Lord. Please accept this offering and grant us your blessing." Then he started chanting.
When the ceremony ended, the aliens raised their arms high in the air and shouted, "Lord, please come to us. We are yours forever." Suddenly, an orb the size of a grapefruit appeared in the sky. It shot straight toward the Chonos spaceship and impacted it.
As the sphere exploded, Luciferr's heart jumped and his head spun from all the energy released. Then everything returned to normal, and he found himself lying on the floor, blinking, wondering where he was and what had happened.
Then he saw that the place where the ritual alter was was perfectly fine, but the surroundings were destroyed, and not even a single corpse was left as all the things in the 1000 km range had been vaporized, and the planet was just a bit bigger than Pluto.
Seeing this, Luciferr could not help but feel grateful that he had fused all the spaceships he had stolen from Earth with the Gyro Spaceship and increased its defense; otherwise, he would have also died. Fortunately, the impact only caused him to become unconscious and did not outright kill him.
Seeing that no one survived, Lucifer took a deep breath and made the decision to investigate the ritual altar and what was going on. He then began searching the wreckage for a clue to the orb's origin.
After searching the whole planet for a whole week with the help of his Gyro spaceship, Luciferr was finally able to know what had really happened.
After finally finding out what had happened, Luciferr did not know what to feel. Because according to what he found, this whole thing was really, well, foolish, as he could not find any other word to describe this situation.
