Chapter 85: Chapter 85: “PERVERT!!"
Lincoln shakes his head as if trying to get rid of any sleep that remains, he gets up heading towards her as he pulls her close t him by the waist.
"You know, I had a photo shoot" Lincoln starts, Amari nods secretly trying to pull herself together, her legs were trembling seriously as she tried to maintain stamina.
" thought I was going to take longer but shockingly, we were quick to finish" Lincoln sums up, "You and Bernard went out right?" Lincoln asks as Amari nods, "to a dinner" Amari informs him.
"I didn't get to have breakfast, so we went to a dinner" Amari explains further, "have you eaten," she asks curiously, hoping he wasn't too busy to have had a bite or two.
His nodding finally puts her heart. React she sighs in relief, "I came after the photo shoot and didn't meet you guys so I prepare myself something" Lincoln adds before letting her go, as he heads into the bathroom.
Be right back!, he informs her as he closed the door behind him, leaving it slightly open he peaks out, In case you want to join me" He adds before redrawing back.
"PERVERT!!" Amari says with reddened cheeks as she hears Lincoln's laughter, ', foolish man' Amari curses within as she takes a seat by the edge.
Lincoln getting out wiping his face with a hand towel sits next to her.
"Sorry you had to eat alone" She apologizes having picked up, the disappointment when he earlier explained, it would have been nice to eat something made by you, "He says keeping away the towel.
"Your talking like I cook for you normally," Amari says with a chuckle, "still it would have been nice, your good at it" Lincoln compliments as she blushes a bit.
You're just pulling my leg, besides you did eat something made by me" Amari says as he turns to her surprised, what? He was confused.
"The cake I gave you earlier, I made. With little assistance" Amari confesses to Lincoln's Amazement, "h-", "In baking supplies beforehand, That's why I had an extra suitcase"Amari explains.
"But I didn't notice a thing when I got to the ki-", "We cleaned the place, "Amari says with a grin as Lincoln shows a small smile, "Oh thank you, "Lincoln says nodding.
"So what are you giving me?"Lincoln says turning to her swiftly like a kid waiting for a gift, "But didn't give you one?" Amari says with a pout as Lincoln scratches his head.
"You did ....? Lincoln asks confused as Amari nods, "Yeah, the spaghetti and meatballs" Amari jugs back his memory as he facepalms, oh yeah I remember" He says nodding.
"That was your gift? Lincoln asked trying hard to hide his disappointment, "yeah" Amari says nodding, "ah alright" Lincoln says as he leans in capturing her lips briefly before parting.
"You should get some rest, we're seeing the aurora today" Lincoln reminds her as she claps excitedly, "yay" Amari quickly gets under the covers.
"Good afternoon, "Amari says closing her eyes as Lincoln chuckles, getting up from try bed, he picks up the towel before leaving the room.
7:19pm
Amari wakes up with a slight yawn, as she removes the quilt from on top her, scanning the room for Lincoln,"Where is he"Amari asks herself as she heads into the bathroom washing her face.
Getting out of the room she scans the halls, as she could hear the sound of a plate being laid out, along with a stainless spoon being placed on it.
she peeps out to the kitchen, as she spits Lincoln placing his cake on the counter, as he picks up his knife cutting into it, lincoln? Amari calls out as she walls up to him.
"I decided to have a taste" He informs her as he cut through a slice from it, before putting the knife away, He grabs his spoon as he cuts out a piece .
Looking at her he tastes, "hm" Lincoln says keeping away the spoon, Amari feeling anxious, quickly asks if the cake was any good as he nods not to her satisfaction .
"Are you sure?" She ask again doubting his response as he arch his brows, "Am just shocked that why, It's really good, you must have a gift" Lincoln complements as he takes another bite.
"That and bonus fact, I love chocolate"Lincoln informs her as he takes another bite,"nice"He adds.
"It has chips of brownies inside to give it a crunch" Amari adds as he nods frantically in agreement with her, "I was wondering about the crunch" Lincoln adds as he takes two more bites before shifting it to her.
He wipes his mouth heading to dispose the tissue, while Amari feast in the cake, She takes big bites as she looks around, "What is it"Lincoln asks as he takes a seat.
"Benny?, Where is he?" Amari ask co fused on his whereabouts ,"He said he was going off to somewhere, Am not sure where" Lincoln informs her as she nods with a slight giggle.
"What is it?"Lincoln asks as she shakes her head, "Nothing..."Amari says increasing Lincoln's suspicions, Do you know something I don't? Lincoln asks slightly offended.
"Not a 100 percent sure but I think I know where he might have gone, But I doubt he'll met her" Amari explains co fusing Lincoln even more, "She?"Lincoln asks as Amari nods.
'What goes on in my absence?' Lincoln thinks within, "He went earlier, I thought he would be back now, but he seems to be busy, I wonder with who since you mention a girl? lincoln asks confused.
"Yes, the girl we met at a dinner by the mountain side" Amari informs him as he nods, "Go on" He says before sipping his glass of water.
"I think Bernard is in love with her" Amari blurts out without thinking of the consequence as Lincoln spits out his water, "WHAT!!!" Lincoln screams in terror.
