Chapter 2: BEST FRIEND
Heejin tapped her pen on the table, with her right hand supporting her chin. It can be seen from Heejin's beautiful face that she is currently feeling bored. "Hufftt... boring," Heejin muttered.
Kyujin who was beside Heejin immediately turned around. "Are you not at all interested in paying attention to the lesson ahead?"
You need to know, that Heejin didn't do anything during class. She was just busy daydreaming without paying attention to the explanation of their teacher who was in front of the class.
Kyujin then looked at Heejin's notebook. "Gosh, your book is still very clean. You didn't write anything on the whiteboard," said Kyujin.

"Okay kids, because the recess bell has rung, we will continue the material another time," said the teacher.
"Okay sir!" said the students in the class at the same time.
And their teacher came out of the class with his books, as well as markers that he had brought himself.
Heejin stretched out her hand. "Yeah... finally!" Heejin said excitedly.
This is what she's been waiting for. You just don't know, if she desperately suppresses her sleepiness during class. Listening to her teacher talk and explain sounded like a fairy tale to her.
Heejin sat down at the table. Not caring about the views of her other friends who looked at her cynically.
"Kyujin, what do you want to eat?" asked Heejin to her seatmate.
"I brought lunch today," replied Kyujin as she put her books into her bag.
"Then what about me?" Heejin said while pointing to herself.
Kyujin looked at Heejin for a while. "Just go to the canteen. He must be waiting for you there," said Kyujin.
He?
Who is the 'He' that Kyujin is referring to?
Heejin snapped her fingers. "Ah! You're right! I almost forgot about it!" Heejin exclaimed. "You don't want to accompany me to the canteen?"
Kyujin shook her head. "Just go, I'll wait for you in class," Kyujin refused.
"Are you sure?" Heejin teased while raising her eyebrows.
Kyujin chuckled. "Yeah, I'm sure. Just go."
Heejin got off the table. "Okay, I'll go first, bye-bye..." Heejin then walked towards the classroom door.
"Remember! You have to come back when the bell rings!" Kyujin shouted.
Heejin raised her thumb in the air. "Don't worry, I'll be back," said Heejin who then disappeared from the class with the canteen being her destination.

There was the sound of laughter and students talking to each other, which made the canteen atmosphere very lively.
Also, look at that student and some of the students waiting in line to get the food they want.
I'm sure your school canteen looks like that too, doesn't it? Especially during recess, so it has become a common sight in the canteen.
Heejin who was standing at the entrance of the canteen looked around the canteen. One by one the tables looked full. Not a single canteen table looks empty.
Until finally her gaze stopped at one of the tables in one of the food stands.
"There he is!" Heejin said with a smile.
She quickly walked to the table and suddenly Heejin hit the table with her right hand.

"HELLO!" Heejin exclaims loudly enough, making the man surprised.
"God! You want to see me have a heart attack?!" said the man, clutching his chest.
Heejin let out a grin, sitting down at the table without asking for permission at all.
"Think of it as a heart exercise for you," said Heejin, who then immediately grabbed a glass of drink that was on the table.
"Gosh, look at this woman..." said the man while pointing at Heejin with his index finger.
Heejin didn't care and continued to drink the lemon tea deliciously.

"Give me back my drink!" the man snatched his drink from Heejin.
Heejin pouted. "Tch, you're so stingy Mr. Yeonsuk!" Heejin protested.
Well, that man's name is Yeonsuk. With the full name Yeonsuk Choi, he is in a different class from Heejin.
A sharp nose, a firm jaw, and a very handsome face make Yeonsuk an idol in this school, and don't forget his appearance which looks very much different from the other students.

Look... just look at Yeonsuk's hair which is like cotton candy, bright pink. Also, an earring hangs on his right ear. There was no other student who looked like him, especially with those pink hair.

Yeonsuk chuckled. "Do you dare to do that?" Yeonsuk said defiantly.
"Of course, why not?! I'm not afraid of you," replied Heejin sarcastically.
"Oh yeah? Just do it, then I'll throw this bracelet away," threatened Yeonsuk while showing a bracelet in his hand.
Heejin glared. "Just watch out if you dare! I'll never want to talk to you again!"
The black bracelet with a small moon-shaped hanger was the bracelet that Heejin gave to Yeonsuk.
Heejin also has a bracelet like that, so each of them wears it. And it is their friendship bracelet.
That's right, Heejin and Yeonsuk are a pair of best friends. Since they were in first grade until now and at this moment.
