Chapter 2: Important Matter
I wonder why I could adapt to the absurd situation all of the sudden. It must be because my adaptation ability is higher than other peers.
Zard thinks hard to solve the problem of the person before him while astonishing his ability to adapt to the situation inside his mind.
"Tell me, what's the other matter?" Zard said.
He scans the faces of the people inside the room, their faces are grim and hanging down. No one answers his question.
Are they scared of me?
Because no one answers Zard's question, there are some possibilities inside his head about the relationship between his former self and his pieces.
From his memories, the relationship between him and his pieces looks normal at a glance. But because the pieces aren't rejecting any of his orders it became somewhat like he is a tyrant.
He wants this, they give him this. He wants that, they give him that without any question raised because it is inappropriate.
Sure it is good because as a person he isn't needed to do anything hard and many people wanted to live like that. But,
It is one of the leadership types he doesn't like when he was in his past life. He wasn't a perfect leader but at least better than the current one, a tyrant.
Because the tyrant ending isn't as good as the other leader. A typical tyrant would likely die by their subordinate's poison cup or the coup d'etat.
I need to fix this relationship between him and his subordinate somewhat.
But, How?
Zard racks his brain to search on how to make his relationship with the subordinate better, but he finds none.
Zard needs to hit up the library as soon as possible and search for the book on how to do that.
He concluded that this is a dire matter for him in the current situation.
"You are free to discuss as this matter has been finished because there are no problems aroused," Zard said.
"Hereby, this meeting is finished. You can go back to your work, I will leave first" He continued.
Zard rises from his chair and left the room. The four people that were standing followed him and left the room too.
Zard's next destination is the library, as the important matter, he has concluded. The distance between the previous room and the library isn't that far, only a few hundred steps.
"My apologies my lord, but may this servant know the direction my lord heading to?" one of the four people asked. Bowing his head down.
Zard unconsciously raised his eyebrow as he heard the person's voice, he halts and looks at the person.
These four people behind me are my servants, I see.
"The library," he said.
"This servant understands, my lord."
Without raising his head, he answers Zard's question.
Zard continues his steps toward the library.
Soon after walking for a few minutes, he arrived in front of the library. When he was about to open the doors, The servants move faster and opened the door for him, as they did in the previous meeting room.
He looks at the inside of the library, it is much bigger and has more books, different than the library he knows before where there is only a small space for the book to be saved.
On the middle of the bookshelves, there is a circle of stairs to the next floor with a gorgeous chandelier. He walks to the next floor and it doesn't only stop at the second floor, there are four floors in total.
He walks back to the first floor and searches for the books he wanted from the first bookshelves.
It is a good library but for this huge library and no librarian would make him waste many times before he finds the book.
The next time I claimed a piece, I wanted them to work as the librarian here. It will reduce the time I need to search for a book.
Without wasting time anymore, he began to look at the title of the books on the first bookshelves. One book, two books, …. Four books, one bookshelf cleared by him, he continues on the second bookshelves.
If this continues he would end up spending days in the library for not reading a book but searching a book. Searching for a librarian is also an urgent matter, he thought. Take note of his imaginary note inside his head.
At the same time, in the meeting room.
Left behind by their lord, the five pieces discuss the matter of the pieces that have left their lord.
"My Lord is disappointed with us, what should we do to cheer him?" Dorothy said while her hands were on her head.
"In the first place, we need to clear the problem not cheer my lord, geez. If only master was here"
A person with curly copper hair said.
"Coki, Even if Secretary Wassermann was here, he couldn't prevent Biznat and others from leaving" Dorothy rebuked.

"The meeting has finished, right? I need to do my training"
The person with short red hair said. Putting his hands behind his head.
"Anhalt, wait a minute. We need to discuss this important matter"

The person with long red hair said.

Altina pointed at the thing in the middle of the table.
"Hourglass sand"
Dorothy put her hand on her face, not thinking clearly before asking.
"Thank you for the reminder, now focus on the meeting and not on the hourglass sand."
"Roger"
Dorothy rises from her chair and put both of her hands on top of the table.

"Back to the topic, I need a suggestion of all fo-"
She stops her talk in the middle.
"Wait, where is Chiko?" she asked.
"Left the room," Altina said.
"When?"
"As the commander asked about the hourglass sand," Anhalt said.
"And you didn't stop her from leaving?"
The moment before the eruption, after the mountain erupt all the people living under the mountain went away by the magma that come out of the mountain.
Even if the people living far away from the mountain, they could sense the hot smoke and it could melt their skins off.
That is what Coki feels right now, The eruption of the mountain Dorothy made him weak, and couldn't do anything except for praying. Master, please come home soon, he thought.
"The discussion is postponed, until Chiko back or someone brings her back. Anhalt, meet me in the training ground"
