Chapter 3: 2 months. Now, progress.
The next few days were spent same as before. It seemed as though the first few stat gains had been a stroke of beginner's luck or something and they were less frequent now, however I did get a few new skills. First, my INT increased to 13(14.3) and DEX to 12. Talking with Naruto somehow gave me 1 more point in CHR, not sure what that says about my social skills.
I also got the skill Kunai Mastery (E-rank) and levelled it up to LVL 3. Basic Taijutsu was LVL 6, Regeneration LVL 4 and Enhanced Hearing had climbed to LVL 4 after I spent an hour or so in the forest, concentrating on the different sounds made by animals. It seemed to give me a sonar sort of ability, projecting everything in half a metre radius in my mind.
That had given me an idea and I had quickly obtained all the skills related to the five senses. Once I finally got the Enhanced Touch, they had all disappeared and another skill Enhanced Senses (D-rank) had appeared. Passively levelling up, it had gotten to LVL 3 and I could almost perfectly 'see' a metre radius in my head. Individually, concentrating on one sense, I could boost it up and reach a much further distance.
It was a useful skill and I knew it. My conversations with Naruto had been normal, nothing odd happening except that I heard that a couple of seniors making fun of my hair had been found covered in paint of multiple colours.
My presence seemed to give Naruto a better drive too, and I mentioned casually that I sometimes had trouble with chakra control when Iruka-sensei taught us something because of my larger than average chakra capacity. This had led to him probably practicing at home and the slight amount of chakra he leaked had lessened.
When I realized that, I also got a skill Chakra Sensing (F-rank). Not very useful unless used along with battle in non-combat situations, it had still given me a better grasp of basic chakra manipulation that we were taught in the Academy.
Over the course of the week, I had also given few indicators to others in our class, hoping to perhaps let them be a little stronger when the time finally came to face all the different obstacles that would come in their way.
For example, I was dropping subtle hints for Nara Shikamaru because I really didn't want Asuma to die. He was showing slight interest in me. He was also a bit more friendly towards Naruto, considering that was who I hanged out with all the time.
My plans moving forward involved levelling up enough that I could be considered someone notable, and not just a mob easily killed. Then I would try and leave signals for Itachi, because whatever anyone says, Itachi was a badass. He was also the youngest ANBU Captain, so he could do things I could not.
A couple of months passed by, and I was finally ready enough to use Shadow Clone. My INT had increased once again, and a few other boosts here and there, but most important right now was that I was finally getting somewhere. I planned on using Shadow Clone along with Henge, which I had been practicing this entire time, in order to set up a business company of sorts.
It would be run entirely by Shadow Clones, so there was no chance of betrayal. The Clones always using my chakra at a small rate would increase both my control and capacity. It would also act as a source of money and a proxy for dealing with all the different people I wished to approach, like Itachi, and of course, the Hokage after some time.
With a deep breath, I calmed myself, moulded the chakra as requisite, and performed the jutsu. When the clone popped in front of me, I did a cheer before looking at the notification from the system.
Shadow Clone Technique LVL 1 (B-rank):
Allows the user to split himself into clones made of chakra. Each progenitor clone costs 25 CP to make, and drains a single CP over the period of two hours in order to sustain himself. The progenitor is able to gather chakra at half efficiency and is capable of creating further shadow clones.
As I stared at this description, my mind whirred and modified my plans accordingly. I had not expected my clones to be capable of doing all this. This would speed things up, making it a lot easier for me. And the cost was barely noticeable.
Calming himself down, he made two more shadow clones, nodded as the three of them changed their appearance with a Henge. Eyes changed their colour to much less noticeable colours, then the hair did the same. Their heights increased, one of them chose a lanky body type while the other one was broad. The last was just between the two. With a nod, the two of them disappeared, probably running off to start the plans. Once they left, I sat down on the bed and stared at the ceiling, taking a look at my stats after quite a few days.

Now that, was much better. I wasn't sure what gave me EXP or when I got to level up, but it was climbing without my help itself, so I ignored it for now. At most, it would give me a few free points, which I wasn't planning on using. It wasn't like my stat growth had stopped.
Other than that, it was much better. We had been allowed to try the three jutsu once in class, giving me the skill. After that, I had grinded Henge and practiced Clone technique a couple of times. I was also pretty sure that my other clones could level up these skills.
Finally, since coming to this world, things were moving forward. It would take one more week according to his calculation, one more week, to start the company. By that time, I would hopefully be on a better front. One more week of grinding, here I come!
