Jeremy welcomes Vidar back, glad to see him alive and well but worried that he looks all bruised up. Vidar tells Jeremy, "I have no time to explain. I need to know everything you know about Xenon".
Jeremy reminded Vidar how he warned him against the decision to go after him. Vidar acknowledged Jeremy, apologizing for being careless and not understanding what Xenon could do. Jeremy begins to tell him about Xenon, and Vidar listens carefully. Jeremy tells him how Xenon is rumoured to be a Griffonborn, an ancient being who learned under the Griffins. Some say the soul of the best students who learned to harness their echo abilities under these Griffins would be gifted with all the echo elements' power. Others say Griffonborns were made by Griffins to combat the other Griffins who were outcasted and wanted nothing but destruction. Some said that the Griffonborns had actual wings made of energy that was supposed to guide them in the arts. Jemery added, "Xenon is rumoured to be a Griffonborn. I suspect he has a huge grudge against Griffonborns. It doesn't matter who you are." Vidar says, "How do you know so much about his hatred?"
"I have a vague memory, but eight years ago, I had a customer come in much like yourself, but he looked extremely beat up and was wearing a pale turquoise cloak. I asked him what had happened. He said he needed a drink and asked me if I knew anything about Griffonborns. I told him no. I asked him why he wanted to know that. He simply wanted to destroy all who claimed to be Griffonborn. He drank his Sylla Katune and stormed out. I never saw him again."
Vidar takes a moment to understand the information he got. Inside Vidar's mind, Sprite is also thinking. Vidar asked, "What is a Sylla Katune?"
"It is a kind of fiery concoction. I made it myself using the fiery sweat from a Scylla!" He sounded proud to have achieved such a thing. He explained, "They are rare but such a delicacy. Did you know this kind of beverage is one of our best-selling drinks? I could offer it to ya if you want."
Vidar looked surprised but understood that Jeremy was just excited because he could talk drinks with someone else. Vidar thanked Jeremy for his help with information on Xenon and said his goodbyes, promising to return to the tavern.
