Chapter 8: Chapter 8-Giving a second chance to Gabriel
When Naya was still sitting on his bed suddenly heard the roar of a car engine from outside the house,he hurriedly looked through the window of his room, it turned out that it was the sound of his father's car who had just returned from the plantation with his mother.
Naya went to the bathroom to clean herself.
After cleaning up, Naya got ready to cook food and went to the kitchen, while she was cooking, the Dea came up to her and rubbed her head gently.
"Are you home, Nay?even though I let mom cook, you can come home from the office, " said Dea while stroking her daughter's hair
"It's okay,Mom, I didn't come to work today because I was a little unwell."She replied while cooking.
"You didn't work,didn't you go to the office this morning?"ask Dea back as he looked at the beautiful face of his daughter and examined the forehead of his favorite daughter.
"If you are sick you better rest, let me Cook, later I will deliver the food to the room!"Dea took over the spatula that was being held by her daughter to replace her cooking position.
"Then I'll say goodbye to my room," Naya said as she walked slowly to her private room.
Naya looked very lethargic and pale this time she couldn't hide the anxiety of her heart,arriving at the room she immediately laid her body on the mattress while staring at the ceiling of her room,not feeling that her beautiful eyelids were getting tired and closed.
The night began late Naya still not out of her room, Dea immediately checked into her daughter's room to check her condition,when Dea was about to walk into her daughter's room suddenly heard the sound of a parked car in the yard, Dea was immediately seen coming out and found Gabriel who was about to knock on the door of the house,but the door was opened by a sudden middle-aged woman was surprised when she saw the man in front of her.
"Assalamu'alaikum" Gabriel saluted as he bowed slightly and grabbed the middle-aged woman's hand in front of him about to kiss the back of the woman's hand.
The Dea threw out her hand and invited her guest in, she immediately shouted for her husband and children.
"Dad, Look Who's here?"he shouted towards the family room.
Dimas and Darma came to the Dea who was in the living room, when he arrived in the living room,the face of a man who was more than half a century old was shocked,his eyes were perfectly round staring at the guest in front of him,while approaching the guest but different from Dimas who looked ordinary,because Dimas had met Gabriel this
They sat together and talked in the living room.
"Where Have you been?haven't been here long?how's the family doing there? Darma started the conversation while looking at Gabriel.
"I'm sorry sir, I've been busy with work for several months so I didn't have time to visit here," Gabriel replied, bowing and playing his fingers
It seemed that Gabriel did not have the courage to look at the two parents in front of him,he did not want to disappoint the parents who already considered him like their own children
"Sir, Ma'am, is Naya there?"ask Gabriel
"Oh yes, I forgot to call Naya, I'll call Naya first!"The Dea replied as he stood about to walk to his daughter's room. The woman left those in the living room to her daughter's room.
Arriving in front of her daughter's room she saw the door of the room that was still closed,she walked and knocked on the door of the room many times but there was no answer from inside.
Slowly Dea opened the door of the room and looked at the bed,there was seen her daughter was fast asleep,the woman also tried to wake her up by rubbing her hair smooth Naya while kissing her daughter's forehead gently.
"Honey,wake up Nay!"The Dea woke her daughter in a very gentle tone.
Naya slowly opened her eyelids and saw her mother sitting beside her, she smiled and got up from her bed.
"Mom, since when are you here?Naya asked in a tone that was still weak, it seemed that the incident this morning made a burden on Naya's mind so that she was a little weak and helpless,like she was sick.
"There are nay guests in front waiting for you, you must be happy and cheerful again if you know who is coming" Dea told her daughter while throwing a gentle smile to her daughter and asked her out of the room.
"Who Is Mom?"Naya again asked," I went to the bathroom first, mom to clean up,I'll catch up, mom first" he continued as he walked into the bathroom.
"Yes, I'll go ahead, Nay, I won't tell you who's coming,you'll see for yourself, you'll be happy" Dea walked out of his daughter's room and headed to the kitchen to get a drink for his guests.
Arriving in the living room, Dea puts the drink he brought on the table and tells Gabriel to drink it.
"Drink first, Naya's coming out soon, she's cleaning up first," the Dea tells Gabriel.
While in the room,Naya had finished cleaning and changing clothes,she was sitting in front of her dressing table,intending to comb her hair and apply facial moisturizer also apply a little lip ice on her lips, so that her face does not look pale.
Although only wearing pajamas and embellished makeshift Naya so looks beautiful,her beauty is so natural,without a thick makeup polish, she walked from her room to the living room.
Arriving in the living room, Naya was surprised to find that it was not Rama but Gabriel,she thought it was Rama, she was about to turn around to return to her room but Darma saw her and called her.
"Nay, Where Are you going?Gabriel has been waiting for this for a long time,"Darma called his daughter and walked up to her.
Naya bowed and tried to smile to everyone who was there, even though her heart was tight with pain in her chest, every time she saw the man she loved she thought back to her treatment when Gabriel broke off relations with her without cause,Naya tried to strengthen herself to meet Gabriel in front of all her family.
"I-Yes Dad,I forgot something earlier that's why I intend to take it back before sitting down," Naya lied to her father.
"Yes, you have met Gabriel, while Father, Mother and Adek want to go back first,"said the middle-aged man,while leading his daughter closer to Gabriel.
Meanwhile Dea and Dimas get up from their seats about to leave Gabriel and Naya.
They all left the two young men in the living room, just the two of them,Naya sat far apart with Gabriel, they were both silent without anyone starting a conversation.
Gabriel got up from his seat and approached Naya who was in front of him,the man sat on his knees in front of Naya who was sitting on a maroon sofa,Naya was shocked from her seat when Gabriel knelt in front of her.
Naya tried to avoid the tall man, but the man in front of her did not let the beautiful woman go.
Gabriel tightly hugged Naya's body and cried in his arms.
