============================

"Run Akira!" Eagleman shouted. He flew at Isaac, shooting a barrage of feathers at the mysterious man. There was another flash of light, and Akira could just about make out a golden hand which effortlessly striked away all the feathers.

The hand extended, impacting Eagleman in a small fraction of a second. Sent flying back to the same position he was in before, Eagleman immediately got out, only slightly slower than before.

'It's fast, but also strong. Even with my [Indestructible] <Order> it caused me to bleed.' Akira noted. He needed to be careful with his <Orders> if he wanted to win this, he knew that much.

He needed to somehow use that speed to his advantage. But what could he do?

In the next moment Eagleman charged, and a short second after that, he was covered in blood, his feathers and gold donned armour soaked red. He struggled to stand, digging his claws into the floor while gripping his spear to stay upright. Akira ran over to him as quickly as he could, placing a hand over his chest to support his balance.

"Eagleman!" Akira cried, looking at the extent of the damage "Get out of here, call for backup. I'll hold him off for as long as I can."

"Heh," Eagleman chuckled, "I'm the senior here. I'm not running away, especially from someone as dangerous as this. I made a promise to myself in the underground, a promise to never run away no matter the adversity. I'll keep that promise, even if I die. "

"Hahh…" Isaac sighed again, almost as if he was bored, "If you're so eager to die, then I'll allow it. But before that…let me show you something interesting." He grinned.

His body started glowing a golden light, illuminating the otherwise dull underground. The glow continued to get brighter and brighter, forcing Akira to shut his eyes. A moment later, the glow died down and Akira opened them again. What he saw made his eyes widen.

Erected on a golden statue stood a construct of gold. It had hundreds of arms shaped like elongated bones, each of them looking thin, but carrying a surprising amount of power. If Akira had to say, the statue looked like a Guanyin he had seen watching a tv channel late at night.

Akira could blink as 2 sets of hands both separately hit Akira and Eagleman faster than before. Akira was sent flying back into the wall, his body vibrating and shaking from what he had just been hit by. At the sound of a weak whimper, he suddenly turned his head where he noticed an unmoving Eagleman.

Akira rushed over as fast as he could. He was lying on the floor, surrounded by dark crimson blood and red feathers and broken golden armour. "Eagleman…" Akira's hands twitched as it was covered in the blood of someone he considered a friend.

"Don't worry Akira. I have lived a happy life, a life I don't regret. I guess it's all come full circle, I was born with nothing in the underground, and that is how I will die. Tell…tell everyone I'm sorry." Eagleman opened his mouth to speak again, but his eyes became hollow, empty, and his body fully limp.

Eagleman was dead.

Akira was silent. A cold fury washed over his grief and regret, all of it directed at Isaac. His eyes were red with rage, glaring at the golden construct which only stared back at him with dead eyes. He closed the eyes of Eagleman and said, "Let's go somewhere else. I don't want to damage his corpse." Akira disappeared in a flash of speed, appearing miles away from where Eagleman had just perished.

There was a bright flash of light, and Isaac appeared a moment later, still in his Buddha form. Akira stared into the dead eyes of the man who just killed his friends, and they shared a look of understanding.

Akira would make the first move. All was silent for a time, only the sounds of the ringing in Akira's ears rang, all until Akira made the first move.

BOOM

Akira shot off the ground with a resounding impact, creating a cobweb of cracks on the ground from where he left off. Despite his [Super speed] <Order>, before he could even cover a quarter of the distance between them, he was sent flying backwards into the cold hard stone from a golden hand.

He adjusted his body in mid-air, leaping off the stone wall as soon as his feet made contact with it. He was faster this time, attaching the energy he absorbed from Isaac's attack to his feet for a speed boost.

Despite this, Akira barely found himself closer to Isaac. The only thing he could do was absorb as much energy as possible before being sent flying back. His body ached from the attacks.

The <Order> he had actually put on before was the ability to control [Kinetic Energy]. Before he was hit, Akira would absorb as much kinetic energy as he could, cushioning the blow and leaving his body to deal with the rest.

With this, he could absorb large quantities of Kinetic energy due to Isaac's speed, using the absorbed energy for a variety of different things. It was the perfect <Order> for the situation.

Then why was he losing!?

His lip was fully busted, blood trickling down the wound and giving his mouth the taste of iron. He needed to be faster, needed to be more durable, otherwise his plan wouldn't work!

As he was sent flying backwards again, he realised he needed an <Order> that wouldn't rely on the limits of his own body, but the limits of his opponent. It would cause his body to break and tear, but it was a sacrifice he was willing to take to win this fight and get revenge for Eagleman.

"⭐My speed is proportional to my opponent's speed!⭐" He finally spoke, feeling a weird sensation overcome him. Instead of the energy warping around his body and taking effect, he felt it…expanding to his opponent and lightly touching him, like it was a dog who was sniffing a person, trying to get their scent.

The energy wrapped around his body, breathing new life and vitality into him. His muscles bulged, screaming out in pain as they tore and stretched to their limits. Adrenaline dulled most of the pain out, but he couldn't help but grimace as he felt his muscles burn.

The pain was however worth it, as when Akira launched off the stone wall again, he was much faster than before. Of course, Isaac was still faster than him. If his quirk truly gave him the ability to truly replicate his speed, then Akira's body would be destroyed after moving an inch.

So when Akira saw the golden flash at the corner of his eye advancing towards him, he was already prepared.

"⭐My durability is proportional to my opponent's speed!⭐"

Akira barely felt any pain as he was launched backwards. He cancelled his [Durability] <Order> as he twirled through the ground, putting on his [Speed] <Order> and imbuing his feet with kinetic energy as he got ready to attack Isaac again.

He smirked. He had a way to win.

When taking living things into account, everyone had a pattern. No matter how they wanted to, one could not be biased, as their experience, upbringing, and ways of thinking moulded certain biases and preferences into their mind, either consciously or unconsciously.

These biases naturally shape one's character and actions, creating uniqueness and individuality among the billions of living creatures on the earth. Isaac's power gave him over a hundred hands to use, creating millions, no billions of different combinations and ways to attack Akira.

No matter how long it took him, Akira would force him to use these patterns, creating notes in his mind which patterns, angles and combinations he preferred. Once he had completely figured it out, all he would have to do was slip through his guard.

In the high of battle, he grinned, truly feeling alive. It was a fight to the death, and Akira's life depended on if Akira could figure Isaac out before his body gave out.

BOOM

In under a period of 30 seconds, Akira and Isaac clashed over a thousand times. Expertly switching between <Orders>, every time Akira was sent back, he pushed himself forward again with more energy and strength than before.

Key areas on Akira's body had begun to dull with pain, but Akira paid it no mind. For once, all his worries, his thoughts, all of it was gone, replaced with a mind sharpened for battle.

His jaw ached in pain and his mouth was parched, dried for all the speaking, his voice croaky as he automatically produced the words he said a thousand times before. Unbeknownst to himself, as the fight progressed second by second, Akira's quirk began to get stronger.

Even as he pushed his tired body to its limits, Akira was invigorated with more energy than before, slowly but surely piling up the pressure on Isaac.

In the 15th second of the 1st minute, Akira's efforts were answered. Isaac's golden hand tried to swat him aside, but Akira had already predicted that pattern beforehand, aiming lower when he jumped to him.

The hand missed him by a breath of hair, and Akira capitalised on that mistake. Before Isaac could launch another hand, Akira's body, encased in kinetic energy and carrying a huge amount of momentum ripped through the golden statue like a bullet, causing a large gaping hole to appear in his chest.

Isaac stilled, but Akira didn't stop. Keeping his speed, Akira bounced off the wall again like a pinball, tearing another hole in Isaac. Akira's speed was a blur. If a normal person were to see the sight, then all they would see was a flash of a figure before the golden statue was riddled with another 5 holes.

When Akira finally stopped, the Guanyin was more holes than substance. Akira only stared at the same lifeless hollow eyes of Isaac, as if challenging him to continue to fight.

There was a bright flash of light, and the Guanyin transformed back into Isaac, his body riddled with the same holes the statue had endured. When Akira saw the same eyes on Isaac as he had seen the statue, he knew the job was done.
